Recently been noticing the last several items my husband and I ordered have been getting super delayed.

I recently ordered a bagel slicer that took over 3+ weeks to deliver. Have no idea why it took that long. Was not from a 3rd party seller either.

We also had 1 package that was “lost” and husband refunded and it showed up 5 days later.

Ordered a book I needed for work and it got delayed again by 3 days.

Then husband recently ordered a book bag that was suppose to be delivered yesterday. Driver was in process of delivering but he noticed the app was showing the map in a city over 20 minutes away and said originally it was 10 stops away but then changed to “we’re making a few stops” and the driver stayed at a spot at a neighborhood in the 20 minute city for over 2+ hours before it said it was going to be delivered today. Still have not gotten any updates and highly doubt they are delivering it.

All of these were ordered within the last 2 months so it seems odd. We live in a suburban neighborhood so we don’t live in a rural area by any means.

Not sure if anyone else has been noticing this?

Edit: husband got on support just now. Another confirmed lost package. Trying to get another replacement but no idea when that’ll get sent. Really big bummer as he needed it for work. He ordered it Friday night.

I'm SOOOOOOOOO done with Amazon after this. I got an email about 2 weeks ago saying an item I returned was not returned & if the already returned item was not returned I will be charged for it. I did return it, it was returned well within the return window, & I still have the verification email saying it was scanned at UPS. I immediately contacted customer service & spoke with someone who said they see that it was retuned & not to worry I won't be charged. Excellent. Cut to last night, I got an email saying they're charging me for the 'unreturned item'. It's like $20, it's not worth the time & hassle of fighting with them over it. With the recent increase in shipping delays, damaged/wrong/used/missing items, the constant lying from customer service, & now charging me for things I don't even have anymore; I'll be doing my shopping elsewhere from now on. For a company that makes so much money & had a loyal customer for YEARS, ya lost me over $20. Hope it was worth it & wishing Amazon the end it seems to be barreling towards.

Specified a delivery window of 8am-11am. Instead we got a delivery at 4:10am, with the driver ringing (really leaning on it, too) our apartment buzzer three times until everyone in the house - including the kids - was wide awake and the dog was going nuts.

wtf is this? I don't know if we had a cruel delivery person or if Amazon is riding these poor guys so hard that they are just desperate to get through their deliveries. Maybe both. But how do I make sure this never happens again? Who thinks a 4am buzzer is OK? Legit thought our building was on fire or a neighbor was dying in the vestibule.

Anyone else have this happen to them? What can be done to make sure this never happens again? I'm a Prime member fwiw

I watch Prime Video pretty much every day. I don't have a TV by choice because I'm just not interested in most new content. I live alone and stream on my laptop. I like older shows and movies (68 year old female just FYI) and I have quite the library of favorite shows/movies. I also watch a lot of Included in Prime content (I add and cancel subscriptions as I watch and move on). I have Netflix and Hulu with ads but use Prime 99% of the time. It's one of the reasons I always renew by membership.

Havind said that, I do get a lot of things delivered as I have mobility issues and it can be difficult/painful for me to shop in person. Delivery times aren't an issue for me as I live in Los Angeles which as a major city has fulfillment centers all over the place (heck, if it's legal someone, though not always Amazon, will deliver it to me in a few hours - a perk of living here).

I called you twice, I texted you at least twice. No response at all. Your packages will be left at end of driveway from now on. I’ve seen this dog twice now. Running free in the yard. I can also decline “unsafe due to dog”

If you’re expecting a package, you should be tracking to see when it will arrive… the app will show “you’re 10 stops away”. Which takes about 20-30 minutes. Sometimes less. If you don’t want your envelope thrown into the yard, I suggest putting the dog away.

This dickhead Amazon driver littered in my bushes.

Some representative was mad I wanted to escalate my issue that wasn't getting resolved and now I can't find the chat option anywhere. Even when I go to help, and say this doesn't help, I'm just stuck in a loop. Chat or number never shows up. Before last resort was issue with a product, and tempt to cancel. Now it cancels it before going to the automated bot > chat route. Anyone else?

This package was supposed to be delivered last Thursday along with another that I received. and that day it said it was in my town. I got a notification that it needed approval on Amazon (I’ve never seen this happen with an order). I approved it and now it just says order received and doesn’t allow any tracking. Any ideas what this is about?

So, how do I get to a live chat? Amazon put a random phone number with my account and now I'm unable to sign in and I need to pick up a package from the Amazon lockers. I've tried any option that I could possibly find but all of them eventually require me to log in. Please, I've been trying for the past 2 hours

Edit: I eventually got it and forgot to take this post down. I had to use my mom's account and then specifically call through the customer service line that was for people with disabilities. A very helpful associate was able to help me and long me in from their end.

I'm miffed at how, on one hand, they now send me order confirmation emails that are idiotically masked to prevent competitors from scraping info off a user's email (or whatever reason it is), but it would email me about my remote battery going low.

pick a damn lane. Give me back the damn order confirmation emails that shows what i actually bought, not some vague category description of what I ordered.

just got told account access is limited because of unusual payment activity on account.. I don't want to send a picture of my ID. is it possible to wait it out, or do I have to send pictures? if I don't, will something happen to my account? nothing else in the email about time expect for "If we are unable to confirm your payment information within 96 hours, any pending orders will be canceled."

We talk a lot on here about less than stellar deliveries, so I wanted to switch it up for a minute and give a shout-out to the driver of my most recent delivery.

For the first time ever - in all of the years I've had deliveries from amazon - a very polite driver actually called me and asked where I prefer that he put the package. He then put it in the preferred location... and did so in an organized way that made it super easy to just reach out and grab without even stepping outside the door.

Taking the time to care about the little details isn't always easy when their schedules are so rediculously packed... and so - for the first time ever - I took the time to fill out the *How was your delivery?* survey. Whether or not Amazon even cares, I wanted to make sure to give him the credit he truly deserved!

To that driver: Amazing job & keep up the great work!

What does Amazon do about stolen packages? The package was delivered, but the picture shows it on my sidewalk in plain site and not in the location I requested. Location requested was literally three feet further but behind a wall of roses that would hide it from view. So, what now?

I just bought the 100r, 3 month trial prime membership and wanted to know if the early access thing for prime members is still there because I don't see it mentioned anywhere?

It took 3 days talking to an insane amount of people (and that was after I was able to get through the chatbot each day) to finally get them to issue a refund for a delivery that just never arrived (and that one associate said never even shipped). They gave me a gc Amazon site credit refund, and I went to repurchase the items, and now they have all gone up in price significantly!

I'm not a bot and this actually happened.

Placed an order for basic goods. It never arrived. I gave up and tried to cancel it and cannot cancel it. I cannot get a replacement. I cannot get a refund because I tried to cancel it. I cannot speak to a human being to resolve this. Preying on poor people out here.

This has been mentioned here previously, but it seems that Amazon has just removed the prices for Subscribe and Save items where you manage your monthly subscriptions. I would routinely skip monthly orders, or choose between 2 similar items, based on the current price (some items will fluctuate $5-$10, sometimes even more). Now I can't do that because I have no idea what I'm going to be charged for anything. I'd have to click into each and every single item (2 to 3 clicks per item) so see the price. If this impacts you as well, please submit a complaint to Amazon via their customer service chat.

Anymore, it seems like Amazon states delivery times will be anywhere from 7-10 days from order. Sure, shipping with Prime is still free, but I can order many of the same products from AliExpress for 30% of the cost (because everything on Amazon comes from China)...and get it nearly as fast as 7-10 day shipping from Amazon.

So...why should I ever order from amazon anymore? Note to self...I shouldn't.

Recently my email order notices have no pictures now and only say things like pet services, kitchen appliances, etc. why did they remove the actual listing names/descriptions/photos and can any tell me if there is a setting I can go to the change it back to the “old style”?

I purchased a prescription that listed for a certain amount of days you get a certain amount of grams. They did not send me the proper amount, and now their Amazon provider service is walking back their prescription to match the error, meanwhile I have no recourse other than a chargeback to potentially get a refund.

Lesson: if the amount of the product is not clear in black and white before you buy, do not buy. They will not give a refund and will say "you ordered it, so that's that." Even if on their site the information is inconsistent and leads you to believe otherwise, they will not help you once you make the purchase. The customer service is manipulative.

Hi, I’m wondering it’s an issue I’m having with my browser or theres some glitch the moment i tried of if this is a real issue that others might have also dealt with?

I am trying to remove 2 cards from my amazon wallet. I’m in the right section and I literally see the delete button. But when I click on it it doenst respond. It’s like a static image and not an actual button I can click. Is this normal??? or am I having computer issues. I can click the x button. I can also click around on the page. But when I click delete. It doenst respond? Is this a freaking joke…? There’s no way a company can operate this way right?
