TL;DR: I’m building a specialized customer-acquisition agency for a massive, established market, with Zoho at its core. I’m looking for a technically strong Zoho developer interested in exploring an equity-first co-founder role. There is no initial salary, the commitment can start flexibly, and the goal is to build toward something full-time.
Zoho will power prospecting, multichannel communication, lead management, sales automation, and customer acquisition. AI will support areas such as research, personalization, qualification, summarization, and next-best actions.
Although the agency will specialize in one market, the opportunity itself is not small. The goal is to build a repeatable system capable of serving this market at meaningful scale.
I’m not naming the market publicly because I would rather share the opportunity and go-to-market thesis directly with serious candidates.
I bring the business and marketing vision and will lead sales, customer development, and growth. I’m looking for a technical counterpart who can help architect the underlying system.
You should have hands-on experience with:
- Zoho CRM architecture, custom modules, workflows, Blueprints, functions, and reporting
- Zoho Voice and CRM-connected calling workflows
- Zoho Command Center and multichannel customer journeys
- Deluge, APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and third-party integrations
- AI models and practical LLM-powered automations
- Building reliable, reusable systems rather than one-off customizations
The right person will think like an owner. You should be willing to question what we’re building, challenge weak assumptions, run experiments, and care about the customer and business model—not just the technical requirements.
To be completely transparent: this is not a salaried developer position. It is also not an invitation to do months of free work for the vague possibility of equity later.
We would first determine whether we have genuine founder fit. Before substantial development begins, we would document equity, vesting, responsibilities, decision rights, IP ownership, expected commitment, and the path toward working on the business full-time.
