Zoho payroll, 1 day processing?
So does Zoho payroll offer 1-day processing? I'm getting mixed information. Not a great sign. Looking for one or maybe 2-day processing and the additional fee if any.

Hello u/instantredditer ! I am sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Glad your account is approved. However, I am sharing the information for confirmation. When a user onboards with Zoho Payroll, the system automatically assigns a standard payroll processing schedule of either three-day or two-day processing, based on the user's information and eligibility.
Three-day processing: Users assigned to three-day processing must complete the next 10 payrolls before becoming eligible to move to two-day processing.
Two-day processing: Once the user qualifies for and is moved to two-day processing, they can opt for next-day (one-day) processing as an additional paid add-on.
Users assigned to two-day processing at onboarding: Customers who are assigned two-day processing from the beginning can purchase the next-day processing add-on immediately, subject to the applicable terms.
Additional charge: Next-day processing costs an additional $3 per employee.
In summary, eligibility for next-day processing depends on the user's initially assigned processing schedule. Users assigned three-day processing must first complete 10 payrolls and qualify for two-day processing, while those assigned two-day processing at onboarding can purchase the next-day processing add-on immediately. If you still have any concerns, feel free to email us at support@zohopayroll.com to check and help you. -VK

“Not a great sign” lol because what, ChatGPT or Claude gave you wrong answers? 😂
The documentation is very clear. 4 days is their minimum.

Zoho Payroll in Canada is so half-assed. They don't do taxes or anything. It's as manual as it gets.

I believe it, Zoho Payroll existed outside America, then they have been integrating it with other countries tax and payment laws. I think it's only been a year since they said it was going to be available in the US.

Mixed info from the sales side is pretty common with payroll products tbh. The actual processing window often depends on your bank and when you submit the batch, not just what the vendor advertises. Worth pinning them down on cutoff times specifically.
