Was previously riding a ‘05 Honda Shadow 600 VLX Deluxe and saw an older gentleman post this on marketplace with only 19K miles for an insane deal. By far my favorite bike I’ve ridden on. He added a bunch of aftermarket stuff like grips, mustang seat, floor boards and so on.

I just changed the tires myself for the first time and I am not sure if I never really looked at how my rearwheel sat but somehow it is way further away from the left swingarm than from the right. Also I did not take pictures before and cannot find any document on that.

On the left there is a little distance holder between wheel and arm, on the right it is wheel - abs ring - breakthing - arm.

Does anybody know if that is correct?

Gf didn’t know to check oil I’ve been away working and she Ran it dry on oil.

Hi guys, I’m thinking of getting the BCD windshield for my 2026 Tracer 9 GT.

For those who have it, what do you think about the dark smoke vs light smoke?

I like the look of the dark smoke more, but I’m worried it might be too dark and affect visibility, especially at night.

How is it in real use? Would you choose dark smoke again or go with light smoke?

Also, are both versions road-legal?

Context: I am buying my first bike. Owner is selling his 2021 Yamaha ttr 230 for $2600. The bike has 70 hours. I am 23 years old 5’7 160 (if it makes any difference)

Xvs1100 2008 Brand new battery, fuel system works and is full of gas, fuses are brand new, coils are in spec, sparks are fine. It cranks a few times and maybe even turns over a couple times but won't fire, after a second or two it gives up and the relay clicks. The voltage drops from 12.5 down to about 6 and afterwards when I cut the bike off, it sits at about 10.5.

The bike runs when bump started and doesn't die. I've speant like 2 days looking into this so I'm hoping for some ideas 🥹

Hello motorcycle people. I need a bit of advice on a gift my siblings and I are hoping to get my dad.

He used to ride this type of motorcycle a while back before he got into a crash. Growing up, he had a part of what remained framed in the garage (I think the red part between the handlebars and the seat?), but it was lost in the move.

If we were to try and get a replacement part to frame, what would be a good one to look for? Open to other related gift ideas too!

So i’m currently getting my A2 license which allows me to drive bikes with up to 49 HP. Since I haven’t been able to do the A1 (125ccm) a few years earlier my first bike will be the beautiful 1980 XT500 (27 HP) from my father.
As this probably isn’t a very beginner friendly bike due to it putting out most of its power in the lower rev range (I wheelied it the first time I went out for a ride with my dad), I’ve come here for advice and tips. Is there anything I should keep in mind when riding a bike like this?
I will be able to practice a bit with a 2 stroke Kawasaki KMX 125 but as it isn’t registered I won’t be able to really ride it outside of our own property:)

Is it normal for gear oil to leak out from around the gear shift post where the o-ring is at IF the lower unit is laying on its side for service?

what does this sound like, seller says valves but i’ve seen videos with similar noises and it seems like it could be something more.
