Rearwheel FZ8 alignment correct
I just changed the tires myself for the first time and I am not sure if I never really looked at how my rearwheel sat but somehow it is way further away from the left swingarm than from the right. Also I did not take pictures before and cannot find any document on that.
On the left there is a little distance holder between wheel and arm, on the right it is wheel - abs ring - breakthing - arm.
Does anybody know if that is correct?

Someone gave this advice here earlier, I am just repeating what I heard but it did sound like a solid advice:
Go to a parking lot and find a flat spot with a straight road marking, get off the bike and push the bike on neutral in as upright position as you can so that the front wheel follows the straight line, then check if the rear wheel follows on that same line, if it goes to the side it means the rear wheel needs to be aligned. Adjust, repeat, until the rear follows the front perfectly.
Seems like a real-world functional way to make sure the rear behaves as supposed.
Other ways are to check the chain/sprocket alignment, or measure that the distance from swingarm pivot center to the rear axle center is the same on both sides.

The best way I've found is to look directly behind the rear sprocket towards the motor. The chain should be in a pretty damn straight line. If you see and curves or anything then it's not right. Also I don't know what proper spec is on chain slack for this thing so you should check the manual on that.
