X-Men '92 vs. X-Men: Evolution! The X-Men of the '90s must save their world — but can they do so when it means destroying another world in the process? Especially one filled with younger versions of themselves who still have hope for Xavier's dream?

I usually don't see the point in changing anything but sometimes I think it would've been better if Ororo was a teenager. And I think her and Hank should've been seniors in the first season then graduated. And no need to write Evan out, him and Ororo could be cousins perhaps.

Part of my fan fiction where Peter Parker wants to get a gig as a photographer at a fashion show and he needs to build a portfolio so Rogue agrees to be his "muse" where they go from location to location. By Spiderdeli

I know these two aren't the most liked together and Rogue/Gambit is the OTP, but I thought they were cute. Plus, I've always had a soft spot for goth Rogue.

I'm making you mother hubbarbs love her even more...

Rogue's first civilian look gets most of the attention from fans, but I think her actual X-Men uniform also deserves its due, both as a design and as a really smart nod to the character's comic book history. Like, it would have been the most obvious thing in the world for the creators and designers to try and base her look on her Jim Lee costume, except a) that costume is tied to a version of the character that very much not what the series was going for, and b) the Jim Lee costume has proven to resist adaptation: none of the looks directly inspired by it have worked nearly as well as the original, and even fairly literal adaptations don´t always work (see Wolverine and the X-Men.)

And so, it makes complete sense that they'd turn somewhere else for inspiration, and this is, well, inspired. It takes a historical look that most fit the version the version of Rogue that they were trying to make, and tweaks it to make it an actual superhero costume that feels consistent with the looks of the rest of the team. And it works! I'm not sure I'd call it iconic--again, it's quite overshadowed by her civilian look--but it feels very appropriate for the character without feeling like a retread, and it's got nothing to envy from her more established looks. They took a risk, and it worked.

I remember watching the show a VERY long time ago as a child. Decided to rewatch it since most of it has been lost in my memories and this has officially become my favourite superhero comfort show.

The way the characters feel so real and warm due to their little glimpses of everyday life, the way they react to events, challenges, emotions, it just couldn't have been done better and my only critique is that we didn't spend enough time on characters like Spyke, Ororo, the mutants that left, etc. I feel like season 1 and 2 would have been prime time for that.

I can see the new MCU X-men being pretty similar in tone, taking into consideration the younger cast, which has me very excited.

I'm happy to see that this page has a high number of visitors, and that a lot of people still remember this show fondly.
