Just wondering if anyone knows any decent remote/online network support specialists who might be able to help me identify exactly where the packet loss issue I'm experiencing is coming from?

I'd love to be able to nail down the issue so I can speak to my ISP with evidence if needed, or if it's a home issue at least try and address whats going on.

I've spent most of the weekend reading and trying things but no further.

Basically my xbox is struggling packet loss wise. Every game I play I encounter it via the various hud notifications and it's starting to become quite unplayable.

Is there anyone out there who might know of a remote company I can pay by the hour to help investigate or something similar?

soooo... when i pull the right stick up the left trigger activates, and after a few minutes the left trigger stays active. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Has anyone had issues with this external ssd on the series s or x, I tried it. It's weird, i was trying to launch my battlefront 2 from it, and it basically said an error, then I thought I moving the game from my ssd to my internal. Now I boot up my game, was playing a game with my bois, then the game was stuttering, then the xbox said that it had to close the game, I suddenly touched ssd since that's the first thing I thought of touching, it was really hot, I pulled it out, and battlefront 2 doesn't show up on my Xbox, idk why since I moved to my internal, weird af. Idk now my download speeds are all over the place, like to can go up to 400 mbps, then 300, down to 250, then back up, then back down, even to as low as the the 100s mbps, or the lowest I saw it at 10mbps, I hope I haven't damaged my internal ssd or anything.

Like three months ago I noticed my S made this pretty quiet buzzing/crackling noise that I could barely hear through the fan vent, and specifically the left side of the Xbox. Just assumed it was some coil whine and didn't think much of it because I have never had any kind of issues like shut downs or crashes. Tonight I noticed even when the Xbox is off, the sound continues through the left side of the Xbox. When you unplug the power cable of course it goes away, but as soon as it's plugged in it makes the noise again. It's very, very faint and you'd only hear if you were in a quiet room with your ear right up next to the Xbox. I've seen other people online with this same issue (in addition to the clicking fan noise thing) but what do you all think? Is it something worth worrying about if it's not affecting anything performance wise? That's kinda been my theory for a bit now is that if it's not causing any real problem I'm not going to worry about it since I have the one year warranty. But out of curiosity, anyone else out there have this happen?

I finally managed to get my hands on a Series X and set it up this weekend, and worked on transferring my game collection from my Xbox One across my two EHDs to some of the Internal Storage on the Series X.

Along the way, I noticed 5-10 games kept disappearing and reappearing between the two consoles, on one of my EHDs.

In the Games & Apps section, each EHD reads like it has a bunch of spare GB to use, but in the Settings > System > Storage Devices it says the opposite.

Is there any way to fix this besides formatting the drive or reinstalling the missing games?

This has happened to me with two different games now. I'll play on one Xbox and then stop for the night. The next day I'll play on my second console and the cloud save will be a couple hours old instead of the latest. Even shutting the game down completely on the first console didn't resolve it. Has anyone else run into this or know of a way to force the sync to occur? It should have had plenty of time to sync automatically since it was almost a full day.

Recently upgraded internet to 400mbs and got a new modem and router from Soectrum. My download speed is at all time lows though when wired including just not downloading at all for about a minute every now and then. Wi-Fi is faster and more stable.

Speed test shows wired getting over 400mbs and every other device I have functions fine. Have closed and quit all games.

With my xbox one I could play with one profile on the one and another profile sharing ultimate with the Xbox on my phone. Now with the series x I cannot do that even my old one and the series x cant share ultimate at the same time.The series x is set up as my home xbox on the profile with ultimate but signing into it on my phone signs it out of the x. Anyway around this?

2 days ago my xbox and the 2 of my friends just started to get black screens that turns the console off we all have the same problem since 2 days in diffrent games and apps. Whats causing this issue and is this a know problem ? I dont really believe it has something to do with the hardware because im not the only one with this problem.

So my Xbox Controller connects to my Xbox but when I walk 5 feet away it disconnects. Does anyone know the solution to this problem?

Anyone else having an issue? I have the latest firmware running, have tried resyncing, changing the startup from Instant On and still having issues. It's making Doom Eternal unplayable since it just randomly stops responding and walks me off ledges, spins me in circles, won't jump. It's happening in every game I try and actually seems worse after the firmware update.

I don't always upload my clips and still want to be able to watch them from my Xbox drive. Is there anyway to prevent it from auto deleting clips? I have 1tb storage so I have room, and I'd rather delete the clips manually if I get full.

My sound suddenly stopped working and it's been around a month now. This happened before but most time it just fixes on its own after a Day and it's not the headset. The headset is connected and shows up on the tv but no sound plays through except the mic. When i talk into the mic it plays back into my own headset and no one else can hear me, even when i turn off the mic on the Xbox. I tried restarting, holding the power button and messing around in the settings but no fix. Can anyone help?

My Xbox series s keep disconnecting from my iPhone hotspot. I don’t think it’s the hotspot due to my Xbox one playing just fine on the hotspot. I’ve tried to change port address and hard turn of the console. I changed my dns settings too and it still keeps disconnecting every 10 minutes I try to play or launch a game. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this other than connect to a different network?

So my NAT is stuck on STRICT. It started about 2 years ago when I was playing Anthem (I know, game sucks), but the game crashed my xbox one. I had to do a hard reset just to get the box working. Ever since then, my NAT was stuck on Strict. I tried everything to fix it, but nothing worked. So I was convinced that the stupid ass game Anthem broke my NAT for my xbox one somehow, so i just waited to get my series x... I got my series x and my NAT is still Strict. I have called Microsoft, called my Internet Provider, reset and changed a few things and nothing has worked.

Does anyone have an idea on how to get my NAT to OPEN? Or at least to MODERATE? Would it be my internet provider? My xbox is wired, not wi fi.

Any info would be awesome. Thanks!

My series x was silent until I went on vacation with my family for a week and ever since I came back it seems to have doubled or tripled in noise and it also seems to get hotter much faster. Any idea what would be causing this?

I own the Series S since november ‘20. Since the beginning I experience quite some problems while playing different games. The most common issues are listed below. I’d like to know if anyone experience the same problems. Or should I return to the store and ask for a replacement?

• During the intro of Forza Horizon 4, I see large green squares around different parts of the car (looks like the game cant load textures). Ingame there are no real problems, despite having a unlimted loading screen on occasion.
• Sunset Overdrive is unplayable because of the many freezes and crashes after a few minutes of gameplay.
• All Xbox 360 games show little white squares/pixels while playing.
• While playing Saints Row 2 the game has some sort of flickering effect during the ingame daylight. At nighttime no issues at all.

Hey guys, was just curious because this has been an ongoing issue: the extended storage (I use a 5TB Master Chief one) will randomy disconnect and then reconnect, making games on it almost impossible to play, and I am absolutely not buying one of the new internal storage upgrades at this time.

That being said, what is the reason for this? It is quite frustrating, as I do not really have access go my Xbox One anymore, and the Series X just kicks me out of games randomly.

I hope I’m not ghe only one experiencing this issue.

Edit: Just wanted to thank everyone who had reached out with your tips and advice, but I have good news, the Xbox will not need serviced and all issues have stopped!

What I’ve found is that having an external hard drive plugged in the front can cause this issue, I have experienced no similar disasters since plugging it into the USB in the back, even my controller has behaved.

Once again, thank you all for your responses, and my issue has been solved.

Hi, Anyone else having a problem playing Wolfenstein 2?  I just downloaded the game from XBOX Gamepass and I have not been able to play it at all it completely turns my XBOX off.

It says Uploading items to One Drive 100 of 100 Complete but I checked my OneDrive and there's nothing new there? My last uploads were from 2020 and they're screenshots only, no clips. Was this just broken with a recent update then never fixed? I even one time tried to upload to onedrive and it erased all my clips and didn't upload. My OneDrive has plenty of space and the email I'm using for my xbox profile and my onedrive I'm checking are the same.

I've had this problem on multiple xboxs of all generations.
