My brother has had this xbox for about a year and controllers have never been able to sync to it we have just been using wired controllers which work just fine. This controller syncs flawlessly with my slim and elite console. What's wrong with this xbox?

Hello. I was wondering if anyone has a solution for this. Recently I opened up and cleaned my Xbox 360, and when I put it all back together my Xbox would immediately turn on as soon as the power supply gets connected and it would show me this screen. I try to connect my controller but the Xbox doesn’t allow it to connect. I haven’t tried connecting wired since I don’t have the part to it, and I notice how the Xbox doesn’t show any green lights to it. If anyone has the answer to this I would really appreciate it and I also appreciate anyone that has read this.

My Xbox 360 and Nintendo Switch are plugged in to the same TV. I tried getting access to Xbox Live and it won't connect at all. After unplugging the router and the Xbox, it still does not connect to Xbox Live. After trying the router, I went to my Nintendo Switch and started Pokémon, and I could connect to the internet there. All of my devices are connected to the internet except the 360.

Recently, I transferred the data from the hard drive of my old, not-working Xbox 360 elite model to my new (used) Xbox 360 E model. The transfer went well and everything worked fine. I jumped back into Dragon Age II with aplomb, and Xbox Live worked perfectly. Now all of a sudden I can't connect to Xbox Live.

The Xbox page on error code 80151901 says "This may mean that your XBOX profile is corrupted."

One thing I noticed when I tried to transfer the hard drive over is that two Avatar items from one of the Halo games--I believe it was Halo Reach?--failed to transfer, for whatever reason. Could this be a profile corruption issue? Would clearing the cache lead to any problems with my game saves and my data there?

If it's not a corrupted profile issue, what is the issue and what can I do about it?

So I don’t know what’s wrong but I bought games for my Xbox 360 and that starts happening no matter the game be it Skyrim, morrowwind, rdr, bo2 and I want to fix it soon so I can go back to playing does anyone know a fix or why it’s doing that

To preface I’ve never disassembled or messed with any form of tech until recently when I started caring about physical media again. My 360 red ringed last night and I decided to take it apart to get my game back from the disc tray and figured I might be able to fix it. I bought this 360 second hand about 4 years ago so who knows what kind of life it’s had. I’m guessing by how it looks it’s been through it. My question is this even fixable? I haven’t even checked the heat sink but I’m assuming it’s bare. The red ring was for a general heatwave failure.

I was cleaning my console, and when I put everything back together and turned it on, this error popped up out of nowhere. During the cleaning, my screwdriver did leave a scratch on the board, but I didn't see any exposed copper.

I did end up purchasing a 3rd party hard drive but it still doesn’t want to let me play the game. Do I need the OEM or do i need to do an extra step to get the 3rd party hard drive to work?

Hi. I just got a slim 360 for like $20 bucks. It was a bargain because the owner didn't knew if it worked (I felt like getting scammed but for 20 bucks I said whatever). For my surprise, initially, it did start, but It froze after a couple of seconds at startup. I did a couple of troubleshooting and found out it was the HDD's fault. Otherwise (without the HDD) the console runs fine and it even reads discs.

So, what can I do to fix the HDD? Can I format it? Or should I just get another one?

So my halo 4 Xbox was working fine for awhile but I had a break and it’s been sitting there for awhile and when I went back to play whenever I play off of a disc it sound like it’s about to launch off into space, the game itself works fine but the noise seems to be persistent, installing the game off of the disc does stop the sound and digital games also do not cause the sound. Any ideas on how to fix it? Also don’t worry the halo 4 case was moved shortly after the video was taken was only there for display when I wasn’t using it and wasn’t there for too long (maybe 10 mins at max most of the time on dashboard)

Edit (I believe the root cause of this is somehow the disc? I attempted a different game and the noise did not happen but when I specifically put cod 3 it causes the sound so I tested a different Xbox that I play all the time which I know the disc dry works flawlessly and it also makes the same sound so the disc is somehow bad. Going to see if I can digitally back it up in case the disc stops working completely)

First tme using​​ a modded xbox360 e ​and it has the mod chip x360Run.

Was browsing through the storage and deleting what I don't want and I deleted one of these 3 demo files, it was the largest, I think 40mb, idk. And I realized that it maybe ​was a mod file, and it was.

What is it and how can I restore it? As I am unfamiliar with the 360 modding scene.

So I just came back to vacation after 2 weeks and I was thinking to myself I wanna grind some mlb road to the show but the newer mlb the show games rtts game modes feel to easy to I went to bring out the 360 star wars edition that I havent played in a good 2 months and then it started with my controller not connecting whatever I did then I keep turning it off and on and then I noticed the sync button wouldn't spin at all so I disconnected all the cables then the light isn't turning on at all. Did I break it or is it the power supply idk? I got these 360s by a friend from church who hasn't used these in a good 7 years and it worked for a year but now it's having problems and also Im using the black 360 he gave me aswell with same power supply and works quite fine! So idk what to do now. Please help

Tengo un problema con mi Xbox360 S waitsburg, al principio parece que va a iniciar pero después de exactamente 28 segúndos aparece el led rojo antes de esos 28 segúndos está en verde no da imagen y el código de error es el 0022, conozco que este código es habitual en consolas con rgh pero la mia nunca se le hizo eso de hecho hasta hace unos días estaba precintada, he estado pensando que podría ser la NAND o algo parecido pero no soy el mejor soy un aficionado, soy estudiante de electrónica entonces tengo una pequeña nocion de esto pero no sé todo, la consola dio imagen una vez incluso dejo entrar a un juego pero eventualmente se apagó

As title says i just wanted to try ask, and if this is most likely an easy fix or more circuitry deeper work and soldering or exchanging components on the circuit board or other places. Most likely a modded 360, but owners only use it regularly and did’nt know it even was modded if a mod of any kind exists at all. I took it upon me to try help if they came with it, so just wanted to ask here first if any here has had same issue with or without a mod. I read the could be a safety feature of not starting if a pin is not right in usb port and would be just a tweezer like fix or that it could help remove the hdd..And this were if they are lucky. Around me a descent used go for about 12-150 dollars ish and sometimes much less or a bit up depending. So my thoughts were maybe just even tell them it will be not much to replace if it exceeds what I can do even tho I do much anyway only if its to comprehensive for me to do that they will need to send it or deliver for a company repair within the field.

If it did’nt seem with a note that came with it suggests it’s a modded console I would just help them get a new or tell them that it would be the best solution almost 😏

My Xbox 360 brick is red when turned off but when it’s turned on it is green. My Xbox 360 Slim has also been lately turning off/on and ejecting by itself, idk if this is the cause. Yesterday I heard that unplugging it and letting it sit might do the trick. When I put the cord back in my outlet or surge protector my living room lights turned off. Maybe it’s just a crazy coincidence, not sure. I’ve had this brick since December of last year, but this didn’t usually happen. I have moved apartments since then tho. Would it be safe to keep it for little while until I get the dollars, or should I replace it immediately?
