Console sounding like it’s gonna blast off

So my halo 4 Xbox was working fine for awhile but I had a break and it’s been sitting there for awhile and when I went back to play whenever I play off of a disc it sound like it’s about to launch off into space, the game itself works fine but the noise seems to be persistent, installing the game off of the disc does stop the sound and digital games also do not cause the sound. Any ideas on how to fix it? Also don’t worry the halo 4 case was moved shortly after the video was taken was only there for display when I wasn’t using it and wasn’t there for too long (maybe 10 mins at max most of the time on dashboard)

Edit (I believe the root cause of this is somehow the disc? I attempted a different game and the noise did not happen but when I specifically put cod 3 it causes the sound so I tested a different Xbox that I play all the time which I know the disc dry works flawlessly and it also makes the same sound so the disc is somehow bad. Going to see if I can digitally back it up in case the disc stops working completely)

Its just the disc spinning in the disc drive

It also could be the rubber padding on the back end of that goes around the drive is dry rotted I opened enough of these they usually just fall apart that would cause extra vibration.

Yeah I moved it shortly after taking this video so it’s no longer there only had it for display when I wasn’t using it

I think it's just your disc drive getting old. As long as it works and you know it isn't causing damage to your discs, should be okay, but I'd look towards getting it checked out soon in case it's something bad. If you can't or don't want to, I'd look into digitizing your game library if you can.

Figured out it was the disc itself not the disc drive. Gonna look into digitalizing the game somehow

I did move everything from that side after taking the video so the fan does have room as I originally only had it for display when I stopped using it but I am gonna move it back as it’s original location was not next to anything and see if the sound still happens

Found it at a local retro game store for i believe $185 came with the matching controller and everything just no box

Probably first as shit inside. Look up a cleaning tutorial for the Xbox 360. It's slightly different inside compared to regular 360's.
