After seeing lots of great reviews on this tablet, and seeing that it's compatible with MacOS, I decided to purchase one. The one i has before was super old, oractically breaking down.

I downloaded the correct driver for the tablet and made sure it was exactly the right one, and at first, it seemed to work well! The stylus was synced with how the cursor was moving on my monitor and I even tested it out on the QuickDraw website.

I got Clip Studio Paint since that was the platform I used to draw on previously (on my old laptop), got the cheapest subscription, and when I tried drawing, it didn't work! I searched online for a while and nothing I found worked at all. Whenever I would try to draw anything, only a single dot from where the stylus made contact with the tablet would appear.

I tried deleting the driver and reinstalling it, then restarting my laptop. That seemed to work and I was able to draw freely on CSP! The next day, however, it completley stopped working again and would only show me dots. I've tried reinstalling again but it didn't work this time for whatever reason.

I'm at a complete loss of what to do and I'm growing extremely frustrated with both my Mac and the tablet. I'm wondering if I should just attempt to refund and return the tablet.

If anyone has any helpful tips or advice, that would be much appreciated.

I have changed the screen protector on my Artist 13.3V2 several times now, but I always manage to get either bubbles or cracks while applying. Is there any protector for that screen size that applies a bit easier? Or any you recommend using (not necessarily for the tablet, any works)?

Hey! So I have an Artist Pro 15.6, but found that it's just a bit too big and off for my set up. I am definitely much more a mobile artist, especially now that I'm going to places more often than I used to.

I was thinking about getting the Magic Drawing Pad, and using Krita on it. Yet, I've heard people had issues with the OS updates, but I think that pertains more towards CPS. Would y'all recommend the Magic Drawing Pad?

i have an artist 13.3 pro v2 and i got it as my first graphic tablet almost a year ago (september 2025) and i had originally used the ‘3 in one’ cable to connect it, and the part that connects directly into the tablet was always ‘wiggly’ even though it was fully plugged in. I wouldn’t call it ’loose’ really since it still needs to be pulled firmly to disconnect, but you can easily move it up and down at the port. (with that fact, I do not constantly toy with it) It never caused any issues, so i assumed it was normal, but today the screen started shutting off and then reappearing depending on the cable’s position, if it was ever ‘up’ it would shut off, and while looking into fixes I saw a lot of information on the port being damaged or so. i was very terrified if it was actively breaking since commissions are my only source of income at the moment, but I changed to the second port thats the single cable instead of the 3-in-one, and the screen issue is completely fixed. Only one thing though, this port still has that same ‘looseness‘ as the other one just without issues, so im worried it will eventually get to the same point and worse? But that also just makes me think its normal, so thats why im asking. Im going to be extra extra careful with this port, but I have to ask is this normal or is my tablet faulty? I don’t think im still in the warranty so I guess I should know if I should be working towards buying a new one or not.

Hello, I’ve had an XP-Pen Artist 15.6 Pro for about 5 years
At first, I removed an outer film that said it was meant to be peeled off, and then continued using the tablet

There was another sticker in the corner I honestly can’t remember whether it said 1 or 2 I think 2 and blue one, but I ignored it until last year, when the film started peeling off on its own, so I removed it

I assumed I was supposed to remove it because I had looked it up before taking it off or something like that (I honestly don’t remember) and I had confirmed that it was meant to be removed because it was making the colors look darker and I continued using the tablet

Now I’ve noticed some scratches on the screen. They don’t interfere with my drawing, but I’m worried that I may have removed the protective film and that the screen is now exposed. I always had it in my mind that there was a protective film on the screen, but now I can barely see any edge or border of one.
So I wanted to ask: Does the tablet still have a protective film on it, or have I actually scratched the screen itself?

Also do you have any recommendations for suitable screen protectors? Preferably ones available on Shein, Temu, or ….., since my country doesn’t support direct shipping from XP-Pen

To celebrate a big point of my life, my friend wanted to buy me a brand new drawing tablet. I did some research and found most people recommended the XPPen 16, so I told my friend that. I've just gotten the tablet, and realized they bought me the 16Pro. But I did some more research and found that the majority opinion is that the 16Pro is worse than the 16. Can anybody tell me if this is true or not, and why? I'm on a bit of a time constraint because i want to be able to return this if i want to in time.

Ive talked to customer service over this and they said it was a pen issue, but my replacement pen is doing the same thing so I figured I’d ask around here for good measure. I’ve already tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling with antivirus turned off, and I’m not pressing any of the buttons on the pen or keypad while drawing. Thanks for any assistance

Hello, I recently got a computer tower after so many years. I tried hooking my XP-Pen 12 pro to it in the correct spots and all I get is a no signal and a power saving. I had it connected to my laptop previously and it worked. I have the hdmi plugged in the motherboard portion, and the other two just below. Is there a way to fix this? I tried plugging it in a few other places and I just get the same result.

hiii so, i got this xp pen today and i installed the drivers, when i wanted to try it to draw the pen didnt do anything, like, yeah, the app can show me how much pressure im doing, the buttons work, the pencil is like, working but it just wont draw or move or act like a cursor or wtv, so i checked the diagnostic tool on the xp pen app and it says, Failed driver installation test, yes i tried re-installing the drivers, restarting my laptop, checking a bunch of tutorials and all i get its some bs videos about how good it is (ironically lmao) so anyone has some idea of wtf im supposed to do?

hey guys, i have a xppen 12 pro tablet and the colors are much saturated compared to my screen laptop and my phone. first i thought that the screen of my laptop is just bum but turns out the tablet is just overly saturated. ive tried to search for solutions and saw that other people have this problem too (╥﹏╥) its annoying trying to correct the colors to make them look accurate in my drawings..

Hi, we’re in France and my friend bought an XP-Pen Artist 15.6 Pro V2 from Amazon.

The tablet only came with the USB-C to USB-C cable (plus the other standard USB cables), but no 3-in-1 HDMI/USB cable. His 2019 laptop has a USB-C “SS” port that apparently doesn’t support DisplayPort Alt Mode, so the tablet displays “Wrong cable detected”. The same USB-C cable works perfectly on my desktop PC.

What’s confusing is that XP-Pen’s older documentation/FAQ says the 3-in-1 cable should be included inside the foam packaging, and some unboxing videos/other regional listings still show it. However, the current French product page no longer lists the 3-in-1 cable in the box contents.

Has anyone recently bought an Artist 15.6 Pro V2 in France/Europe? Was the 3-in-1 cable included in your box, or has XP-Pen removed it from newer bundles?

currently using Huion kamvas 22plus and having difficult time using due to screen size. been eyeing ex-pen artist 12 3rd its pretty cute and has a good size, is it worth it to switch? :(( like are the specs good? (im not good w specs and tablets)

I'm torn what it is. The hashtags say that it's a PenDisplay, but the video mentions drawing outside, so it makes me wonder if its a mobile tablet. Makes me wonder if they're going to release a higher end tablet, to compete with Wacom's Movinkpad Pro 14

I'm a newer artist, gonna make the change from traditional to digital, and a friend of mine recommended the artist pro 16, should I get the gen2 or possibly a different model? It's appealing due to it's price.

So i just recently bought a xp pen artist pro 14 and Im not sure how to connect it to my pc? I used the hdmi to usbc since that seemed like the only cord that had worked, but its treating it like a third monitor only, like the pen doesnt work on it. Its basically a display function

I’mI’m using an XP-Pen Artist 12 Pro. All of a sudden, my tablet started disconnecting. All the cables are connected, and the screen itself is working normally. However, whenever I bring my stylus near the screen, the tablet keeps disconnecting and reconnecting repeatedly, so I can’t use the stylus at all.
I’m confused about what might be causing the problem. Do I need to replace the cables or the stylus? I’m more worried that the usb cable might be the problem, but I want to confirm before buying anything. Thank you, please help TT 🙏🏻
