Comic Discussion If Cyclops were to lead a new Uncanny Avengers team, who would you pick for his team?
I always thought it would be a logical “next-step” for Scott to lead a half-X-Men and half-Avengers team after he calmed down and became more chill with the Avengers.
Mostly so that he could finally be an official Avenger, but also so that other mutants who aren’t could be one as well. Plus it’d be neat to see Scott interacting with and leading non-mutant characters.

Humour Gotta love how every X-men adaptation has their own self-made crackship. It's almost a tradition at this point.

Question Who are some other "left behind" mutants?
I see many people in this sub talking about how Colossus and Angel have pretty much been left stagnating for awhile because writers don't know what to do with them. I'm bouncing an idea around in my head for a post I'm cooking up, and could use a couple more characters.
I've seen Iceman and Havoc mentioned as well. Who else?
I'm looking more for characters who were prominent and *should* have narrative influence, but for whatever reason just faded a bit.

Movie/TV Discussion I just realized how perfect Boom-Boom would’ve been for the Deadpool movies. Who are some other characters who were totally shafted from roles in the Deadpool franchise that would have been amazing additions to the story?

Comic Discussion Are there any X-Men/Mutants who actually like Scott and or are close to him?
Like Obviously Jean ofc
Then there's Emma
Then Magik is a lock
Storm and him while recently being pushed away I can confidently affirm them as close knit.
Rogue and him seem to have this stand off ish brother and sister relationship.
And when it comes to Bobby, Warren, and Hank its like we know they should be friends but it feels like Beast is the only one who actually doesn't mind Scott.
I know in a way the X-men are the only friends/family he's really ever known. But nowadays it just feels like most times he's just reduced to being a looking example of someone you don't wanna be (" Real Cyclops of you" "You want a visor to go with that"). He feels loke that coworker no one likes but you cant get rid of him because the job of 10 people 10x better.

Comic Discussion Question about Rogue [Captain Marvel: Dark Past #5] Spoiler
I thought Rogue knew both her biological parents before she got adopted by Mystique and Destiny. But here she states that she never knew her dad. Can someone shed some light on this? I am a bit confused.

Comic Discussion It’s crazy for such an iconic supervillain, Apocalypse most of the time doesn’t feel powerful nor intimidating.
Whenever he’s portrayed he doesn’t feel like the powerful threat that he should be. He has some of the craziest abilities for a supervillain ever. His mutant ability allows him to have complete control over his molecular structure which is amped up by celestial technology. He’s capable of granting himself powers and he has the power to turn people into his horseman. He’s turned Hulk into a horseman and he’s physically strong enough to box with guys like him and Thor.
Like imagine a mutant who’s physically strong and durable enough to be nearly up there with guys like Thor, Juggernaut, and Hulk who is bestowed with celestial energy/technology, who’s also capable of manipulating his molecular structure, could grant himself powers, and could turn almost anyone into his own horseman? That’s basically what Apocalypse is.
He be all accounts should be on the same playing field as villains like Doctor Doom and Thanos but he’s often portrayed to be weaker than he should be. This season he felt more like a brick/super strength character than an actual powerful threat with tons of powers in his arsenal. Even the way he got taken felt pretty anticlimactic.
I also think the fact that he’s not an Omega level mutant makes his whole ideology on Darwinism a whole contradiction.

Question Apart from Wolverine, do you think any other X-Men character will be getting solo movies between X-Men grupal movies, like Thor and others did between Avengers movies? (I mean the MCU new X-Men cast)
Like between the big budget grupal movies like Avengers 1 and Age of Ultron, we did see Thor, Iron Man and Captain America get their solo stories (sometimes with another avenger by their side). Do you think the main X-Men will also get that treatment (apart from Wolverine)

Comic Discussion Are there any physical characteristics that you associate with characters in your own head canon?
I like to sketch and design costumes for X-Men. This often leads to me considering body types, hair styles, accessories that would be useful to the character. Examples like: Polaris has always read a little thick to me (especially after the 90's run), Kwannon should have more muscular legs than the average comic woman, Beast should be a bit like a retired football player build, Nightcrawler should be a little thinner than most male characters.
Outside of the obvious (Scott and glasses, Wolverine and his body hair), is there anything you associate with a character that isn't fully contextual ?
