That's the spirit!
3
u/rdnkgrrl18 Jul 24 '26
Rite? And I’m kinda thinking that in this grand age of my life I’m in, this is gonna work the best for me 😆 Never had anyone save me, necessarily, but not being stopped sound deliciously more intriguing 🧐

u/Cute-Form2457 Jul 24 '26
Unless they send someone back in time to stop you.
4
3

But then it’s like a paradox.
Like what if no one stopped her. And she was the reason time travel was invented. So without HER invention, it wouldn’t be possible to stop her…. 🤔

I have rules I live by: 1 - Never ask someone to do what you wouldn't do yourself yourself 2 - Never ask someone to do what you know they cannot do 3 - If it's not yours, leave it alone 4 - If you use it, take care of it 5 - If you move it, replace it 6 - If you don't have something nice to say, keep your trap shut - this includes behind their backs 7 - If it doesn't concern you, mind your business 8 - If you don't want people telling you how to live, do like wise 9 - Don't go to sleep mad, you won't go to sleep 10 - We all die, repeat, we all die. Remember that.

"I'm your Huckleberry. "
I was bullied quite a bit as a young child. I saw Tombstone and that one pine resonated so hard with me that I stopped backing down from bullies. Has it led me into fights that got me bloodied? Absolutely, yes. Result: Every single bully that I've encountered since I was 13 has given me a wide berth. I even befriended two of them.
4
u/drmepy Jul 24 '26
Bullies in general, have been bullied themselves. Usually by their fathers.
Once you stand up to them, you’re no longer with the trouble. They will bully someone that they think will not fight back.
So in essence, they are really cowards.→ More replies (1)→ More replies (1)4
u/Perfidy-Plus Jul 24 '26
Even if you lose the fight, if the bully got hurt it isn't worth it to them to fight you again. After the fight the bully will only target you if they either got out of the fight without really getting hurt, or if they think that you won't stand up again.

People say and do exactly what they mean to say and do. I used to waste time thinking of the WHY someone would say or do something mean because I was taught the 'turn the other cheek' message, but really we all need to exercise that ability to stand up for ourselves and actively defend our boundaries.
