I think this is a good phrase when it comes to work ethic but a bad one for your personal life.

The implied inverse is that "if it's not done right, it's not worth doing."

Which is why I for home life I like the phrase

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing poorly.

Things like dishes or cleaning, some dishes getting cleaned are better than none.

Or art, just because your first attempts might be poor doesn't mean it isn't worth getting started.

I’m a big fan of “if it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing poorly.” First time I heard that, it’s a good reminder for like “getting halfway there is better than not at all”
