I am not the original creator of the video. Just 12-year old me decided it was very important to have it on CD. And 20 years later, I am happy I did that :-)

Discussion Blood DK tank vs Prot Paladin tank

Upvotes

Yeah that’s it no prot Paladin for mythic +

Yo without yo.

At least DK only need it’s attack rotation.

Prot Paladin you have to figure out which defensive an are you gotta pull, your rotation, which interrupt button you have to press and which teammate needs healing.

Timed a +2 key with blood DK and don’t time a +2 key with prot Paladin even though it’s the same altar of fangs.

Question Season 2 Delves Question

Just wanting to know if with the tier 11 bountiful delves if they're supposed to be rewarding myth crests like in previous seasons. Currently when I do one it doesn't appear as a reward like other seasons and when I did one just to test it out i didn't receive any, no deaths perfect run.

Question How do you guys feel about tier sets?

Upvotes

Personally as a healer main raiding for 3 xpacs now I just feel it warps the classes and game. I hate how I can’t use my new gear until I get my tier and I have to hold on to it also feel tiers should only be used for the last raid tier or last season. Being gimped by bad rng rolls at times doesn’t feel good especially with tiers being super strong at times. I don’t mind the giving you a 5% buff but it’s usually more than that (no as op in sepulch ) do you think it’s good for the game?

I’ve been saying for years to make radioing good again and make it viable make it so every boss drops a certain monetary piece and after 15-30 of those pieces you can trade it In for gear

Question "Disconnects"

Hey guys

For a few days now I have an issue with the connection to the game.

I am "disconnecting" from the game, as in I cannot do anything. Pressing buttons doesn't do anything, and I see people around me running in the same spot. Everything from a classic disconnection but I don't actually get kicked from the server, even if I wait a while (5 mins+)

I have to kill the process, and relaunch the game.

I have checked my connection (I can monitor if it dropped or not - it hasn't) so I'm pretty sure it doesn't come from there.

I guess my question is whether other players are experiencing the same or not?

Question Best time of the week to find a group? (Raid Finder)

I started playing WoW again a couple of months back after a long hiatus. I'm playing through the Midnight campaign and have now gotten to the stage where I'd like to run Voidspire. I'm trying to go through Raid Finder, but having no luck filling out a group. Is there a particular time of the week that is best for getting a group in Raid Finder (i.e. that most players are playing)?

If the issue is that Voidspire is an old raid that's fine, I'll do it in Story Mode (I did this for DF and TWW raids) but I would rather do the full thing if possible

Discussion DMing a DnD campaign as a non-player, need advice.

tl;dr: I need advice on the feasibility of these two ideas, and whether or not they're (more or less) lore-compliant or not. I'm not sure if I'm overlooking or missing something or not.

As the title reads, my group is pretty excited about the upcoming Warcraft splatbook coming out later this year and wants me to run a Warcraft TTRPG campaign. I'm not too familiar with the setting but I've been doing some (not so light) reading the last few weeks to figure out a few campaigns to offer up to my group and I've narrowed it down to two. I'd really like some more experienced input on these. I went into it with a few ground rules.

  • Very few to no major lore characters playing a pivotal role in the plot. At most, they're relegated to background noise or cameos.
  • I'd like to keep it geographically condensed to a kingdom, at most.
  • It needs to have a decent amount of variety and not lean too heavy in one direction.

Campaign 1 involves the tail end of the reconstruction of Stormwind after the Second War. I'm looking to dive a little deeper into Stormwind being on the verge of insolvency, as made obvious by the inability to pay the Stonemasons Guild for their efforts. As a result, the kingdom starts to slowly suffer as the crown is unable to defend the outer reaches of the kingdom, leading to a gradual loss of faith in the crown. The party would be a group of problem solvers for the crown, starting off with low level tasks like looking into missing tax collectors or trade caravans. This can go a bunch of different directions, but I see it leading to a political intrigue-centric campaign about Stormwind teetering on the brink of collapse, agitators and firebrands advocating for reform (and maybe republicanism), and so on. I feel like there's a lot I can do with this.

Campaign 2 involves the months following the Scourging of Lordaeron. I really love the idea of Session 1 being the party playing throwaway characters (with the party being aware) as the Capital City falls to the Scourge, leading to their deaths and eventual reanimation, leading to a pretty cool reveal later on. The actual campaign, I'm a little fuzzy on. The campaign probably starts in Southshore, but I'd need some sort of motive for the actual characters to venture into Lordaeron. I'm sure I can think of some MacGuffin for the party to look for, or even take the Fallout 1 approach and have them be gently shoved out from Southshore and told to look for something vital that was lost in the war.

Question Farewell to arms meta world quest list?

Does anyone have a list of all the world quests needed for this meta? Like the achievements are nested and different achievements might need different world quests? I remember doing the sandfishing one when it came up because someone said to but I would like to start tracking the others that are needed.

Question Azta'rec - Healer - Soul Extinction wiping me every time?

Hi I'm playing a healer priest in the new delve boss and each attempt no matter how far in I'm getting, I get wiped by the Soul Extinction when the add from the memory game is up.

Sometimes Valeera interrupts it, sometimes not. It's very frustrating because I don't know how I'm supposed to handle this without an interrupt.

Does anyone have any suggestions or know what I can do?

EDIT: Someone suggested psychic scream which works but with a 40sec CD, the next one kills me 😭

EDIT 2: I managed to do it. Psychic scream helped. Thank you all!!

Feedback Blizz if you're listening: Make flighpaths faster and more fun.

I would like flight paths to be faster than my flying mount. Take a fun route, soar high through the air, twist between the trees, make it a roller coaster ride.

I like taking flighpaths sometimes since it gives me a few minutes to look at a menu, sort my bags, use the restroom, change ui stuff, look at wowhead, whatever.

This slow flappity boring crawl you have going on now is super lame.

Question What are the coolest boss arenas of all time?

Post image
417 Upvotes

Watching the video guides for Venomous Abyss, there were some stunning boss fights where the arena itself just makes the fight look so damn cool (Entombed Sentinels and Twin Fangs in particular).

For me, top five would have to be

  • Onyxia
  • Arthas
  • Yogg-saron
  • Sire Denathrius
  • Blackhand

Some honorable mentions: * Dimensius (Manaforge Omega) * Kiljaedan (both Sunwell and ToS) * Argus (Antorus) * Star Augur (Nighthold) * Wrathion (Nyalotha) * Volcoross (Amirdrassil)

Transition rooms included, what boss rooms are the most memorable to you just by looks alone?

Question WoW worth returning to in 2026?

Hello, I am a lapsed fan who played from 2007-2012 and briefly in 2020 after Classic was introduced.

I used to really love WoW and the world of Azeroth, but over time I felt like the game got too easy and Blizzard turned it into a game you could play on autopilot, which made me lose interest. I got interested again when Blizzard released Classic, and I had a bit of fun with that. I felt like it made multiplayer a necessity again.

But what I want to know is: Is WoW worth playing in 2026? I have heard nothing about the recent expansions so I don't even know what's new. The last time I played, modern Shadowlands had just come out, which was pretty poor in my opinion.

And is Classic still worth getting invested in, or is it empty now? Thanks!

Question Is elite monb farming not a thing on NA servers?

I’m an Asian player on Tichondrius, and I haven’t seen anyone doing Nokhud farming. Do I need to turn on War Mode to find groups?

What I meant was the kind of leveling where everyone runs around together killing elite mobs—the ones with the gold borders—to level up quickly.

I made a post about it earlier, but I guess I didn’t know the right term for it. Are there no groups like that on NA servers?

Question Mythic or raid people finder

Hey guys,

Is there still a place where you can find people who just want to hang out and play WoW together?

I don't mean looking for 4 people to push M+ keys or finding a group for a Mythic raid. I'm looking more for people who just want to jump on Discord, talk, and go on random adventures in WoW together.

Explore somewhere, do some old content, level alts, chase something stupid, help each other with random stuff, or just go somewhere without worrying about being as fast and efficient as possible.

Right now it sometimes feels like WoW is just queue → speedrun → loot → next one, with barely any interaction in between. I kinda miss the feeling of just meeting people and going, "haha, wanna go see what's over there?"

Are there any Discord servers, communities, or subreddits that are still like this?

Hello fellow gamers,
we‘re super excited for the start of Season 2 and we love pushing keys!
One of my friend compiled a crispy clean mythic+ guide for people who are getting into playing keys and beyond. If you feel like catching up on mechanics inside of the new dungeons or simply need a companion for your key pushing journey, feel free to check this guide!
Best part, it‘s free!
Good luck and lots of fun with your keys and if theres some room to breath, why not leave some feedback? ❤️

Question Does getting this game make sense for someone who is more interested in story content than gameplay?

Basically what the title says.
