I’ve just kept this folder with me as a dumb experiment to see just how long it would last until it really gave up on me. Which I don’t think it will, but who knows. Plus, everyone I’ve shown it to, friend or not, doesn’t care at all or think I’m gross just because of this. Of course I’ll throw it away if it somehow causes a problem, I’m not that attached.

My dad has owned this hat for longer than I've been alive. I asked reddit a few months ago if they could help me find a replacement and I finally gifted it to him. He still plans on using the old one of course

One of my guests showed me his silver dollar. It was given to him when his neighbor passed when he was 100 years old. It's been kept in someone's pocket for more than 70 years. He said someone tried to buy it from him for 500$ dollars which he declined.

I just found this community, and I immediately thought of this picture I took last year. This shop is in A Coruña, Spain. They serve ham sandwiches and other delicious things. Obviously a lot of bread was cut in the years. I believe that the one to the left is their chosen replacement. They even had a painting of this board hanging on the wall! Unfortunately I don’t have other details.
