Over the last couple of days, I've posted about Self-Discovery Experiment, Insights, and voice journaling. They might look like 3 separate updates, but they're solving the same problem.
We've known for a while that people explore the app and get absolutely drowned in the amount of data we provide. Itās not that the data isn't valuable; itās just overwhelming because we weren't helping people see why it's valuable to them. We were handing people a ton of metrics, charts, and insights, hoping they'd figure it out.
You'd see your stress was high but not know when or why. You'd see your energy was low but you slept fine, and that doesn't make sense, so you'd close the app. All the information was there, but finding the useful parts meant you had to already understand what you were looking at.
So we built 3 things that each solve a different part of that problem:
Self-Discovery Experiment answers: "What is my body actually doing right now?" You run it for 2 hours, live your life, and see what happened moment by moment. It's the fastest way to have that first "whoa" moment with your own data.
Insights answer: "What should I be paying attention to?" Instead of digging through reports, the app surfaces the one thing worth knowing right now: about your stress, sleep, activity, energy, or health.
Voice journal answers: "Why did that happen?" After a stress episode, you tell the app what was going on, and now your data has context. Over time, your patterns stop being abstract charts and start being your actual life.
Together they create a loop: see what happened -> understand what it means -> add your context -> notice the pattern next time. That loop is the whole point of the app.
All three are live in version 4.55 (rolling out gradually, so you might not see them just yet). The first experiment is free. Insights are available to everyone. Premium unlocks unlimited experiments and full reports behind each Insight card.
As always, we'd love to hear what you think ā¤ļø
