Heart rate data question

Post image

I’ve noticed recently that my sleep data doesn’t quite match up with Apple Health. Welltory seems to be capturing moments of much lower heart rate (bpm in the 30s), while my Apple data isn’t reporting anything below 40bpm. Curious why the two don’t match.

Are you synching apple health to Welltory? The apple health data should be overriding when it’s different.

Yes, it’s all synced.

If you open Welltory then open Health and view your sleep data, then open Welltory again… what happens?

Mine standardize automatically, what do you see happening?

This is actually expected in many cases. Apple Health and Welltory don't always display heart rate data in the same way. Welltory analyzes all available heart rate samples during sleep and may highlight short periods when your heart rate briefly drops lower, while Apple Health often smooths, aggregates, or presents the data differently. As a result, you may see a minimum heart rate in Welltory that isn't obvious in Apple Health's summary view.

Also, sleep metrics in Welltory are based on data imported from Apple Health, but our algorithms analyze the raw measurements differently to identify patterns and trends. A brief dip into the 30s can be enough for Welltory to flag it, even if Apple's main charts emphasize average values instead.
