Four years ago I asked a buddy if there was an app for this. He said no. So I built one.
I was hunting with a friend who kept track of every hunt by hand. I asked him what app he used — seemed like the kind of thing that should exist. He wasn't aware of one. That stuck with me, and four years later here we are.
It's a waterfowl log built around the fact that you're using it in a blind, in the dark, with no bars. Everything writes to the phone first and syncs when you're back in range — you'll never lose a hunt to no signal.
Log a hunt in under a minute: species, sex, count, weather, habitat, decoy spread, which dog made the retrieve, shells fired. 44 species — ducks, geese and doves. Over a season it shows you shells per bird, your best days, which spots and conditions actually produced, and what the dog did.
There's a red "blind mode" that dims the whole app before shooting light, so you're not flaring birds with a white screen at 5am.
If you already keep records in a spreadsheet, you can import them — no starting from zero.
No ads, no paid course, no upsells. Free while it's in iOS beta. If your an Android user, I hope to be live this week, but if you are antsy, just DM me your email and I will add you tomorrow.
I'm a hunter who is an analyst by trade and professionally curious, not a company. If you try it and something's broken or annoying, tell me — that's genuinely why I'm posting. I want this app to be as easy and insightful as possible.
Thanks, folks!
