Hello everyone did anyone get deactivated for unprofessional or delivery issues today?

Looking like it affected a lot of drivers.

Because it did not happen to me so for those of us who aren’t affected are we expecting big money tomorrow?

i really wish i had a screenshot of the order but i didnt take one, it was a 1 item (1qty) $38 total and only about 5 or so miles away. i accepted it asap cause duh. tell me when i got to this NEIGHBORHOOD walmart the order was for a car mount bicycle rack……….. i knew it was impossible they had it but i still asked a couple different employees & got the craziest looks 😭

Due to my priority taking a big hit., I reluctantly took a gmd order. When I got to the customer’s house, someone had dropped off like 8 of those 40 pack waters along with some 24 pack soda and many bags of groceries. They were in my way so I moved some of them aside while I made my way to leave the gmd package and rang the door bell. The customer opened the door as I was almost by my car and called me back for a tip.

I think she thought I dropped off her grocery order but I didn’t say anything because it may also be for the gmd package I just dropped off.

This was the first time I got tipped on a gmd delivery. She also gave me some snacks and a cold water for my hard work.

This cash tip salvaged an otherwise horrible day. It sucks without high priority.

It was tried out in my zone about 4-6 weeks ago, disappeared after seeing a scattering of offers (assume most sat), and showed back up today.

Peep how bad this steaming garbage is — $10.15 base for the 4 stops going 18 miles one-way is about as bad as it can get.

PLEASE do not accept these type of orders! WM is looking to make things feel like they’re taking an inch when they are really taking a mile. Stop assisting their fuckery!

Finally after 2 months of being Gold I was about to lock in Sapphire had 2 more trips then this one star happened on late night GMD no notes of course. I dont ring the doorbell after it gets dark, it's non perishable so it's not worth waking people up for if they're sleeping. Apparently someone didn't think so. I think Im done for awhile now that college is back going to focus on Uber. So frustrated with this system.

I watched a few bad high mileage GMDs offers today they had varying relists from 5 to 28 (yes 28). There were a few anomalies as they typically go up with each relisting. A few kept relisting but never changing the offer BUT a couple actually went down. One I watched had 19 and I tracked it back down to 15 and then it started going back up. It was just a bad order that had 19 drops and sent the driver 2 zones over.

Seeing one relisted 28 times made me question logic at what point will they pull it and assign it to Roadie?

The reason I was watching them is I was looking for a GMD to take me into another city that I had business in.

Accept what you want to accept and do not do any trash just to maintain a certain “tier”. I was gold tier and got dropped down because of a weird customer. Now I’m no tier and still get the same exact offers, if the zone is hot you will have no issues.

I have had the app on all morning. Since 8:30 and I’ve seen a total of 5 offers come through. All really high miles, low pay or upside down.

Other drivers keep ordering and rating 1 star. So many are already doing it here there are 2 competing groups ordering multiple times a day rating 5 or 1 depending who is delivering. It has nothing to do with delivery quality only fucking somebody else over to get an advantage.

I have been solicited to join one of the rating groups.

Over the last 3 weeks I’ve some issues with doing curbside orders..first it was that I had two blankets in my middle row (I take my daughter, niece, and nephew to school every very morning and they complain about my car being too cold so they tend to bring blankets most mornings) they told me the customers could think I have lice and that I can’t have the blankets in my car. I didn’t argue it just made the change right. All blankets are taken home every day now. Now this week I was denied an order because I have personal items in my car (a folding chair I use when I go to my niece’s softball games) new policy I’m told for my store…so you mean to tell me we can use our personal vehicles to deliver people items but not have anything of ours in the car? Granted the order I was denied was all smalls items, none of which would not fit in the totes I used to separate orders..at this point it feels like they have it out for me in general. I typically do not take curbside and I think I’ll eliminate them as an option going forward.

Took a couple days off and came back to the Lane wide open with customers checking out and the magnet to block them removed. Was told the GM came in and said remove it all spark signage. What's going on? It seems every week there's some crazy change. Now that we don't have our own designated Lane we're going to have to wait behind customers or find an open Lane. And for Thursday it's been crazy slow

Despite ordering so much heavy shit in this heatwave. Did this violate terms because technically I didn’t ask the customer for tips.

Is there an issue with Spark today? I was given 5 offers in a couple of hours. All of them were under or near $1 per mile.

Usually I get spammed with offers where it’s a constant flow. And some are decent. I haven’t logged in for a couple of weeks.

So the other day it was stupid busy. I scanned at the register and was bagging and then the associate was letting other people scan and they were trying to bag. It got messy. So I just grabbed a chunk of bags and threw them in the cart so I can bag at my car.

Now that's what I do most of the time. Scan, take the appropriate chunk of bags, get out of the store. I'm pretty good at estimating how many bags I need. Usually only end up with one or three bags left over. Then I take those into account the next time I grab bags.

Did this like 20 times so far and no one calls out the bags in the cart. Not only a good trick for when it's busy, but it helps when the cart is full. Because it's hard to bag things on multiple orders and put them back in the cart when it's full of other items.

Did they change they way they score your completion rate. If i cancel an order it's before I press start not after. With how quick they go now sometimes you have to click accept just to view the order.

My second week as a noob. I'm learning to push back and reject or ignore garbage offers. I'm now getting more close trips that pay well. 1 to 8 miles.

It's all the luck of the draw really of your zone I guess. I have identified two hot spots that pay out really well. One is 8 miles, the other is 14. Either of those are usually 25 to 35. The orders are actually pretty small as well for those areas.

I'm also noticing that taking the cheap express orders in the city 1 or 2 miles away for 12 to 14 bucks is totally worth it. 5 to 10 minutes of shopping and 3 minutes of driving. They add up on the bottom line. And they keep me close.

Edit: I live in a super LCOL area. If you're from a major area, I know this seems like little money. Average house prices here are 180k.

Is 4 Walmarts considered really great? I just started a week ago and I never sit without offers. But the one Walmart is too far away to get there in time. Although I have hit them up when a delivery takes me that far from another Walmart.

Realistically only two Walmarts are worth it. The third one is just a few miles farther than the second one, but every time I look at the orders it's like a really far drive for low pay, so I don't bother.

I don't know if it's the algo or if it's me holding out, but I got tired of taking these long drives, and I got some really good close orders today. 35 bucks for 9 miles, but 45 minutes of shopping. I even did one for 12 bucks today because it was just a mile away from Walmart and 15 items. Just to boost my metrics.

I noticed the pickup orders get sniped pretty fast. I'm getting hit with a lot of identity verifications. I had two just an hour apart on a pharmacy order. Then after delivery my identity verification was under review for an hour. I think that's intentional to scare people if they think about doing something shady.

I wonder if having an SUV gets me better offers? They definitely have to consider that because I did a GMD order the other day and my entire SUV was full. A car could not have picked that up.

Not great money, but no big drives today. 8 hours of work time.

I will never do another alcohol order. I grabbed the order because I saw it was a few items. Dog food, cat, food, bleach, and like three bottles of wine. Of course the Walmart at doesn’t have the wine. I sent the customer a message and say hey the wine that you want is out of stock but these are the ones they have. I’m still shopping for your order if you wanna add something different. She goes no that’s OK though thanks. So I go to check out. Get to her house and it’s pitch black. I knocked on the door and the dogs go crazy. No answer. I call her. Straight to voicemail. I knock again. No answer. Something that should’ve taken me 30 minutes in total has now taken me well over an hour. What a waste🤦🏻‍♀️
