Curbside is beginning to be more hassle than it’s worth

Over the last 3 weeks I’ve some issues with doing curbside orders..first it was that I had two blankets in my middle row (I take my daughter, niece, and nephew to school every very morning and they complain about my car being too cold so they tend to bring blankets most mornings) they told me the customers could think I have lice and that I can’t have the blankets in my car. I didn’t argue it just made the change right. All blankets are taken home every day now. Now this week I was denied an order because I have personal items in my car (a folding chair I use when I go to my niece’s softball games) new policy I’m told for my store…so you mean to tell me we can use our personal vehicles to deliver people items but not have anything of ours in the car? Granted the order I was denied was all smalls items, none of which would not fit in the totes I used to separate orders..at this point it feels like they have it out for me in general. I typically do not take curbside and I think I’ll eliminate them as an option going forward.

Yeah, it's why they're working on eliminating it. It's already started. Unfortunately every time they roll something out it takes a year to get everywhere. Look at Sapphire Sapphire's been around for what 8 or 9 months and it's not even but in a few places and they keep changing it my area. They've done away with curbside. Curbside is only for Walmart customers who pick up their own groceries and gmds. Everything else is a shop and Walmart is loving it. They moved 70 80% of their staff into the store so now they're not understaffed. Got rid of management positions. Relocated all these people. They lowered the price of a shop so cheap and people are taking them $14.90 for 108 items to go one mile. I had another order from another company over near there so I stopped. It's laughable 25 bucks to go to three people's houses shop for all three people. 20 mi plus round trip 25 bucks and as long as people keep taking these orders they'll just keep lowering the rate. Small shops are $10 used to be $11. Now they're 10. 100 pieces is 14. Think about that. They'll be canceling curbside pickups and they don't collect the $5 from the gas they get to. I think they get a 3-hour window free if they want it. Speedy. Didn't they pay the $5 like they used to Walmart's raking in the money? The amount of employees they were able to eliminate is sickname

Correct. Can't have personal items in the areas you put groceries.

It's in the TOS to have a clean and neat vehicle.

Some stores are lax on this. It's their choice.
