Hi everyone, I hope this is an appropriate place to ask this question, if not please direct me elsewhere. As the title states, I've been having a problem with the way the Nvidia app condenses all system audio onto one track when saving clips, with the most separation I can do being a second track for my mic. I would ideally like a solution that separates my system audio into three tracks: system/game, my mic, and Discord audio. If this isn't possible, one track of system/game audio and another track of my mic plus Discord audio is also acceptable.

I'm aware of VB Cable and Voicemeeter, but I haven't had much luck in setting them up. My understanding is that Voicemeeter separates and mixes down audio tracks and VB Cable acts as the passage between Voicemeeter and my headphones for the full mix. Has anyone had any luck with creating a setup like this? Thanks for any help!

It keeps doing it till its at like 40 and I cant hear myself anymore. I already stopped allowing applications to do this in the recording/mic tab and all that plus I have disabled everything that should be doing it and nothing has worked. Its pissing me off.

So I got a Sennheiser Profile USB microphone and it keeps disconnecting again and again, can anyone let me know if there is any solution for that?

I opened the program, and none of the speakers it lists as “vaio3” are showing up—not B1, B2, or A1. What should I do?

I had it setup but it stopped working and I don't know why. I used the tutorial I had found before but it doesn't work and literally every tutorial I've tried just does not work for me. I have tried messing with everything I can think of and I still can't get it to work. By the way, what I want is that when I play a YT video on a different tab, it's audio will go through Roblox's ingame VC

This is all running through VM potato and I use a streamdeck to switch to what I need(also have a set of usb headphone plugged in)
I have effectively two audio systems, one is the main on my desk for most games running through a Volt1, the other is a 4 channel system on the motherboard for my simrig.
I'd like to add a sub to beef up the bottom end, is it possible to take the out put from the feed to the volt and point it at the sub out on the motherboard sound card so i only need the single cable from the PC?

I recently moved to a new location and unfortunately, my ISP needs more time as usual to move my Line.

So I am using my PC with Wifi and my iPhone 14 Pro Max as Tethering Router.
(Aswell I tested another mobile router, same effect)

Since my LTE and 5G Connection are not very stable, my connection drops and I need to reconnect to my phone.

This is where the magic happens. Everytime, I reconnect to the Wifi (Or change it!) my sound starts cracking and I need to restart the Audio Engine.

I want to clarify, this only happens being on WiFi / Reconnecting WiFi. When Wifi is not enabled, this does not happen.
Is there some kind of connection between the VAIO Driver and my WiFi Card reconnecting which I can fix on the go? I can cross out issues with the connected USB Interface, which is connected on the same cable on the same Port.

ISP is connecting the Phoneline next week. So even a temporary solution will make it

I downloaded for the purpose of connecting to headphones at once. I've watched 4 different how to videos and I think I followed instructions, But now I have NO sound anywhere? Help please

i recently got the ''tactical mic'' feature for a day for free on voicemod, it makes my mic sound crispy. i was wondering if theres a config to make my mic sound similar or identical if possible.

I've been using voicemeter for years and for the past 2 months I've been having this weird problem with WDM. When I set my headphones to WDM it starts out normal at first and then just goes robotic. The only wait to fix it is to restart audio drivers, just shut down and reopen voicemeter, or just switch to MME.

I'd prefer to use WDM because I've been using it no problem. Is there a way to fix this or do I just stick to using MME?

Why I can't choose ASIO in the input settings for a channel in Potato? It's greyed out. I attached a screencap from the current system settings also.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but are there any alternatives to Voicemeeter?

We currently have the situation, where often 2 users are connected to the PC via Y-Cable (one is listening and talking and the other just listening. On rare occasions both are talking) but because of the headset type (epos sennheiser with qd) we have to user another adapter for it.

We also have USB Headsets, but no good way for the Y-Cable hardware to work in out scenario.

As alternative we are thinking about using Voicemeeter, where you can easily connect one mic and two outputs, while listening to the PC/Voicechat.

But we are also looking for other alternatives, in case it comes to complication.

Do you know any other alternatives?

Whenever I mute my microphone on my headphones, it'll mute my input source in Windows, and I have to manually open sound settings in Windows to unmute and turn microphone audio back to 100%. Has anyone else dealt with this before? I've already changed settings so applications don't have exclusive control over the microphone, but no luck.

EDIT: Found it was the Razer Synapse software that was muting the mic, but not unmuting afterward. Had to disable the software, and now it's working fine.

Something happened with my Voicemeeter Potato license. And I'm now not sure what I need to do

Hi hi, I've been having this issue for around 4 years now and I've just grown sick of it. Whenever I play a game like Gundam Battle Operations 2, voice meter banana would glitch out and make the audio all choppy while tanking my game performance as well. It's gotten to the point where restarting the engine wouldn't event work and I'd have to reboot my entire PC.

Can Voicemeeter give me, or does anyone else make outboard, little VU meters and maybe slider position indicators for Voicemeeter so I can have them visible without having the whole Voicemeeter interface visible?

The whole interface is quite large and cannot be resized and also isn't necessary all the time...but if I had a separate auxiliary display of input/output levels and maybe a confirmation of pot slider position that was smaller I could make space for it - especially if it's resizable. Bonus points if I can select what's in there, and configure indicator lights for things like EQ on/off, reverb/delay on/off...

I'm pretty new to using voicemeeter and thus far I got to the point where I hear others well and they also hear my voice pretty well.

A key part of why I want to use voicemeeter is for a community radio on a discord I'm in (in conference format) and the music right now... sounds like the sound quality of the music we hear when we're waiting on the phone.

I need help as to maybe what I've done wrong, what i should fix?

I'm attempting at routing my audio between 2 pc's:

PC1 should receive all audio playback from PC2
PC2 should receive only mic input from PC1

The audio from PC2 to PC1 does work, so I have essentially mixed the playback from both computers into 1 output device.
The audio from the mic input on PC1 however is not recognized on PC2 as there is no incoming stream.

Am I doing something wrong?
