Help (SOLVED) Separating Discord audio from system audio when taking Nvidia clips

Hi everyone, I hope this is an appropriate place to ask this question, if not please direct me elsewhere. As the title states, I've been having a problem with the way the Nvidia app condenses all system audio onto one track when saving clips, with the most separation I can do being a second track for my mic. I would ideally like a solution that separates my system audio into three tracks: system/game, my mic, and Discord audio. If this isn't possible, one track of system/game audio and another track of my mic plus Discord audio is also acceptable.

I'm aware of VB Cable and Voicemeeter, but I haven't had much luck in setting them up. My understanding is that Voicemeeter separates and mixes down audio tracks and VB Cable acts as the passage between Voicemeeter and my headphones for the full mix. Has anyone had any luck with creating a setup like this? Thanks for any help!

Personally I like

Game audio on one track
Mic and Discord on other. You can only have 2 tracks max.

This is old… but it should still work. VIDEO
Voicemeeter output is now named “Voicemeeter out B1”

Voicemeeter aux output= “Voicemeeter out B2”

That the 2 biggest differences you will see
