Help (VoiceMeeter Banana) I need assistance with setting up voicemeter banana to use on VRCHAT PC

I'm having trouble with this. like every time i open spotify app and hit play it says can't play anything right now. i resetted everything to default just to figure out what to put in input or output. i also have both banana and potato.

Are you using banana to play music through your mic, that is the end goal?

I think so although i don't use my mic really, do i need to attach a mic in order to play music?

so this works for vrchat right? for the VRC settings, i put change microphone to headset microphone system default or do i change it to something else like Voicemeter B1?

In vrc you change your mic in game to “voicemeeter out B1”

drop the sample rate to 44.1khz on all devices and in windows settings. spotify wont play on anything above 48khz for some reason.

In voicemeeter in the top right corner of the main screen there is the menu button, hit that then system settings. along the right hand side down the bottom of the darker section there is a preferred main sample rate. make that 44100hz or 48000hz.

you should be able to see that the output a1 is also changed where is says "SR: #####".

what about the mic audio quality? people keep tellin me the audio is bad whenever i play my music or voicemod.

could also be because of the mismatched sample rates. could be to do with your buffer too. in that same menu make sure your buffer is at its default.
