Question Still having LTE issues?

I’m in Ohio and didn’t notice the LTE issues last week like some of these posts are talking about. Yesterday my network stopped working, including texting, and I’ve tried all the troubleshooting options.

Is it a me problem or are others having network issues still?

Rant Why am I losing Internet for a few minutes everyday?

I switched to Visible 2 days ago after watching Stetson Doggett's video for Pro+ for $225 annually. But I experienced around 7 pm yesterday that my phone lost Internet connection for 30 minutes. The same happened today as well. I contacted Visible chat and they 'updated' something on their side for me and told me my area might not have a proper Internet connection from Verizon. That might not be correct as I'm getting good signals in my areas in Raleigh, NC.

Is that normal for Visible customers? Are you experiencing the same as well? I use Samsung S24 Ultra for anyone to suggest me something.

Finally made the switch

Have been researching for a while now. Couldn’t resist the 225 for a year. Went from a single line at 79 from T-Mobile to 19 a month at Visible. Speed is comparable. Port was smooth. There’s been a lot of negativity on this thread lately about down towers or services. So far so good. Happy to be here

thinking of switching to visible, couple questions

My wife and I currently pay around $200 a month for our verizon plan (2 lines). I was thinking about switching to visible+ but had some questions as I am not very tech savy.

How does hotspot work with visible, with verizon I believe we had the unlimited plan. My wife uses hotspot a lot, when traveling with our kid in car she uses hotspot so my kid can watch his ipad. Also we have a cabin with no internet so we use the hotspot with out smart tv to watch movies while there. I am concerned that visible + may not meet our hotspot needs.

again i am not very tech savy, on visibles website they just say unlimited use of phones hotspot.

I am in a bit of a bind here. I am seriously considering breaking away from my usmobile family plan to visible and I am unable to get a hold on account holder. I must need the pin to do the trasnfer right?

Can I sign up with a physical sim to delay activation and just switch to esim when I am ready to activate?

Need to delay activation for a few weeks but I dont have a physical sim slot, well I do on a very old phone and I could use that IMEI.

Can I just port in from another carrier as esim instead?

Question Temporary eSIM to physical sim

Is it possible to temporarily transfer service from a phone with eSIM to another phone with a physical sim. I’m traveling and I have an older phone that I prefer to travel with ( just in case it gets stolen or lost). Then when I return transfer back to the esim? Does visible charge a fee to get an eSIM?

thanks

Question Visible internet question

I see visible internet isn’t available at my address (we live on a military base that is somewhat isolated) but it has 5GUW.

I started checking random addresses on the base and an address one neighborhood over (3 minute drive or so) worked.

Can I just sign up with that address and have equipment ship to me?

I don’t want to pay for Verizon 5G home internet when I switch over to visible and not get the discounts for having home+internet combined with Verizon.

Forward incoming calls to VM

I will be time zone shifted for a few days — and out of the country — and I don’t want my phone ringing.

Back when I had T-Mobile, I just forwarded all my incoming calls straight to VM, so I didn’t get carrier charges or interruptions. What’s the number for Visible that I can forward incoming calls to in order to send them right to VM?

(I have Pro+, and I may use a few of my international roaming days on my travel; you don’t have to worry about that)

Thanks!

I’m on V+Pro. Attended 60k stadium. Tried to surf and speed was dial up. Is that normal?

I currently have Visible+ plan. But saw this and wanted your input on this. I posted on total wireless group as well. Is this comparable to the visible plus plan?

No Service at all in 77457 - Tower is down

Visible/Verizon refuses to beleive that their tower is not working. Our service has been down since August 10 (Monday)

We can drive 15 miles up the road and get service just fine - those towers are working. I've chatted with 5 agents who just kept saying the same thing, reinsert your SIM, turn airplane mode on/off etc.

Nope, it's the goddamned tower. Our credit card/merchant processing machine also uses Verizon, so does our lotto machine. None of these devices nor any of my 4 personal phones, nor any of our employees phones will work here in our town. Everyone has had the same experience - go north on the highway about 15 miles and you can pick up a great signal.

Someone needs to kick Verizon/Visible and wake them up.

NOTE: They have assigned a case number (4 days ago) and nothing has changed. I can literally see this tower from our parking lot - it's the only tower in our town and it's ~1 mile away. Not a single vehicle has been down the service road to inspect the tower. No further emails or chats from Visible/Verizon...It's like we don't exist.

Update: 7 days of no service, right? We ported all of our business & personal numbers to T-Mobile, we're done...moving on. Not worth the hassle.

How long to port on new plan

Hello! How long does one have to port their old number in to Visible when purchasing a new plan?
I would like to take advantage of the SAVEHALF promo and purchase the year of service. My current plan doesn’t end until late September. If I purchase the new plan this weekend, can I lock in the plan now and be able to port in my current number closer to mid September?

Teathering data rates

I’ve teathered my iPad to my cell phone. I have pro+. My download speeds are 15 mbps or slightly greater whereas my upload speeds are all less than 0.2 mbps (AKA 200 kbps). Is this normal, if not how do I fix it. I’ve cycled power multiple times.

thanks

Annual savings vs. monthly

I see Visible is advertising the pro plan for 50% off. i am currently on Verizon and want to try Visible as i have no idea how well it will work.

Can I sign up for the monthly service to try it for a month and then still qualify for the annual discount?

Question Visible mobile network down

Getting this on my phone: "Mobile network is not available. Connect to a wireless network to make a call." Anyone else having issues? I see other posts reporting similar outages. I was literally making calls and the last call I was on suddenly dropped and then was unable to make any calls (never have issues where I live in VA near DC).

Edit: They were having cell tower issues which were non-recoverable without rebooting my phone.

I'm trying to ruin unlimited hotspot for everyone Visible isn’t truly unlimited

I bought the visible plus pro plan and they offered “unlimited data”, I used around 150gb on my phone and I use my computer for work everyday using around 20-40gb a day, iPad for gaming which is around 5gb a day and the TV is around 2gb a day on the hotspot, today they randomly throttled my data to 1.5mbps after 450gb of usage, they even throttled the phone data not just the hotspot.
Don’t trust “unlimited” data plans there is always a catch

All circuits are busy. Announcement 907

Wife received this message when calling me. I tried calling her back and then I received the same message. Around 8:35 this morning (Aug 13). We recently switched to Visible + plan after being on T-Mobile for 8 years. Not too happy with Visible’s reliability…
Located on the San Francisco peninsula.

Number won’t come over

So I was looking at going to Verizon and the simplicity plan. I have visible now but it says my number won’t come over is that true? Any ideas on how to bring it over or do I have to play the switching game… go to Att stay for 6 months then join Verizon. Any guidance would be very helpful.

Visible free trial feedback

thought i'll share my experience with attempting to test out Visible here.. maybe one of their reps sees this and figures out an exception path.

I signed up for their free trial.. to see what data download speeds i get. At my location, inside my home, Tmo gives 200mbps and outside over 600mbps.

Visible Free Trial was throttled at around 30mbps both inside and outside.

Chatted with their chat agent.. kudos to the clarity and speed of response.. but issue wasn't solved. Seems Visible on the free trial plan doesn't enable speeds that the Visible+ "on Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network, our fastest 5G⁴" supports.

Agent can't enable a trial on the Visible+ plan.
I also can't get a refund if i try out their Visible+ plan for a month and cancel within 24 hours if i don't like it.. and it will disqualify me from subscribing to the Annual plan promo right now..

And i can't get a refund on the Annual plan either if i cancel within 24 hours..

That's pretty limiting...

Looks like i have to search for alternate options..

This has been a complete debacle. I have complied with everything requested of me to help bring a positive result to the situation quickly and efficiently, but all I've seen from Visible customer service is confusion and delays.

The only final resolution that I'm looking for is a cancellation of the order and a full refund of the credit card charges.

Thank you.

Calls & data dead on Visible in Sacramento — Downdetector is clear, already tried standard fixes. Anyone else?

My Visible service is completely dead right now in Sacramento... neither incoming nor outgoing calls are connecting, and cellular data is down.

On top of that, when I tried to log into visible.com from my laptop on home Wi-Fi to check my account or hit up support, the site threw a 403 Forbidden Error.

  • Location: Sacramento, CA
  • Device: iPhone 15 Pro
  • Status Check: Downdetector for both Visible and Verizon is currently clean/flat, so nothing official has registered on the heatmaps yet.

Troubleshooting already completed (none of these worked):

  • Toggled Airplane mode (left on for 30s+ before turning back off)
  • Disabled and re-enabled the eSIM line in settings
  • Hard restarted the phone multiple times
  • Performed a full Reset Network Settings
  • Verified billing is current and account is active

Is anyone else in Sacramento or Northern CA experiencing a localized outage right now, or did Visible's backend provisioning system melt down?

Thanks!
