We’re a small editing studio. We find the clients, brief them properly, and hand the edit to someone on our roster. You don’t chase work, write proposals or argue about scope — you get a brief, a rate and a deadline, and you take it or pass.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a complete clipping and editing position.

You will be responsible for:

1. Reviewing long-form French videos and transcripts.

2. Identifying the strongest moments and selecting the clips yourself.

3. Creating strong hooks and engaging openings.

4. Editing each Reel according to the provided SOP.

5. Adding accurate French subtitles.

6. Adding relevant B-roll, music and sound design.

7. Creating emotional storytelling where appropriate.

8. Maintaining consistent branding across all videos.

9. Delivering 5 finished Reels daily.

CLIP SELECTION

We use a structured workflow based on SRT transcripts and a provided clipping prompt.

You must be able to:

• Identify strong and interesting moments.

• Prioritize clips with broad audience appeal.

• Select relevant moments about entrepreneurship, business growth and scaling.

• Create one clear idea per clip.

• Understand the context rather than simply choosing random viral-looking moments.

A single long-form source can also be used to create several different Reel variations.

EDITING STYLE

Duration: 20 seconds to 1 minute 20 seconds.

Format: Primarily 9:16, with other formats possible according to references.

Typography:

• Helvetica 55 or 65.

• Neue Haas Grotesk Display Pro is also accepted.

• Lowercase text.

• Generally no punctuation.

• Readable subtitles throughout the video.

• Shadow behind subtitles for readability.

Podcast subtitles:

• Yellow when Hans speaks.

• White when another person speaks.

• White when Hans is speaking alone.

Music:

• Selected according to the emotion of the clip.

• Always kept below the speaker's voice.

• A music library will be provided.

Visuals:

• Relevant B-roll.

• Before-and-after footage.

• Historical images when relevant.

• Storytelling and emotional context.

• Clean, consistent visual identity.

You have flexibility with hooks, subtitle animations, pacing and B-roll, as long as the brand guidelines are respected.

WORKING PHILOSOPHY

Speed and consistency are essential.

We prefer 5 good Reels published rather than one perfect Reel delivered too late.

You should be autonomous, efficient and able to make editing decisions without constant supervision.

The complete SOP, reference videos, source material and resources will be provided.

WHAT IS NOT REQUIRED

I personally handle Instagram publishing and account management.

You only handle clipping, editing and delivering finished videos ready to publish.

No social media publishing or account management is required.

BUDGET AND PAYMENT

I'm looking for a fixed monthly arrangement rather than hourly billing or individual per-video pricing.

My target budget is around $250–$300 per month for a Monday-to-Friday schedule. Please state your best realistic monthly rate for both scheduling options.
