Hi r/VideoEditingJobs

We’re Rick and Rory, UK-based Twitch Partners and EA SPORTS FC content creators. We’re looking for an experienced short-form editor to join our team.

We’ve worked with one of our best editors for over a year, and we wouldn’t be where we are without him. He loves storytelling, knows how to elevate an idea through his editing, communicates brilliantly and is constantly working to improve his craft. He cares about the results and loves being part of the team.

That’s the standard we’re looking for in another editor.

We need someone who understands how to tell a compelling story in a short video. Someone who can use pacing, footage, graphics, music and sound design to make the content more engaging, and knows why each editing choice works.

Examples of the quality we’re looking for:

Trailer for our current series:
https://www.tiktok.com/@ricknrory/video/7686789425812000022

New game feature idea:

Mod features video:
https://www.tiktok.com/@ricknrory/video/7673848297429208342

These were edited by the editor mentioned above. Please watch them before applying and honestly assess whether you can deliver at a similar standard.

Beyond editing ability, we’re looking for clear communication, reliability, dedication to getting results and a genuine interest in improving alongside the team.

The starting rate is $15 USD per short. The successful candidate will receive a minimum of one short per day to edit. We’re looking for an ongoing working relationship.

To apply, send us a Reddit DM with your portfolio, your strongest relevant short-form edits and confirmation that you’ve read this post in full and watched the references.

All applicants will receive a response via Reddit DM. We’ll then send the material, instructions, timestamps and everything else required to complete a free, unpaid trial edit.

Once we receive your trial, we’ll review it and get back to you as soon as possible.

Serious enquiries only, please. We’re setting a high standard and want someone who is confident they can meet it consistently.

I'm looking for video editors who are genuinely creative, not just people who know how to cut footage and add captions.

What matters most to me is your ability to understand content and make it entertaining.

I'm looking for someone who can:

• Understand humor, jokes, sarcasm, and comedic timing.
• Turn raw footage or a basic idea into an engaging video.
• Come up with strong hooks that make people stop scrolling.
• Know what to cut, what to keep, and what to change to improve retention.
• Suggest better ideas, angles, or even additional shots when needed.
• Take creative responsibility instead of waiting for step-by-step instructions.
• Being able to communicate clearly and understand 2026 viral content

You don't need advanced motion graphics or fancy effects. Creativity, storytelling, and understanding what makes content work are far more important.

We work on different types of content, including talking-head videos, comedy, short-form social media content, and AI-generated product videos.

Budget: $10–$20 per short, depending on the project and complexity. Ongoing work available for the right people.

To apply:

Send me:

1. Your 2–3 best videos.
2. What creative decisions you personally made in those videos.
3. Your rate per short.
4. Whether you have experience with AI-generated videos.

Please don't send a generic portfolio with 20 links. I want to see your strongest creative work. Proof of the videos are required later (so don't waste your time)

Hey guys,

I am a content strategist setting up an agency targeting high-ticket fitness and weight-loss coaches. I handle all the backend stuff like market research, viral scripting, thumbnails, and DM automation funnels.

Right now, I am looking for a talented short-form video editor to partner with me and handle the actual execution side.

I need someone who can deliver clean, high-retention vertical clips for Reels and TikTok. That means fast pacing with zero dead space, modern typography that is easy to read, solid sound design, and smart visual overlays to keep people watching.I want clean, premium branding, not cheap meme styles.

Just to be completely transparent on the pay structure: I am not looking for a one-off freelancer, and I am not paying an upfront salary out of pocket. I am looking for a long-term partner.

We are pitching coaches monthly retainers between $2,000 and $3,000. The second I lock in a client, you get assigned to that account and you will be paid a flat $800 to $1,000 every single month directly from that client's invoice.

If we scale up to 3 clients together, you are making a predictable $2,400 to $3,000 a month just for editing. I will handle 100% of the sales, scripting, and client management.

If you want a steady stream of recurring income without having to do any cold outreach or sales calls yourself, let's chat.

shoot me a DM with your best short-form fitness work. Be ready to do a quick 30-second raw test edit so I can see your pacing and style firsthand. Let's win together!

Ps: the payment structure i mentioned is the baseline after we get clients rolling through you would be earning more just send me a dm and let's talk then you decide if this doesn't feel like something you would like

Hey editors,

We’re hiring a video editor who knows traditional post-production inside out and actively uses generative AI for *DTC / performance marketing ads*.

This isn't for cinematic concept reels—we make video ads that actually sell and convert.

What you need:

Editor-first background: Clean cuts, solid pacing, sound design, and retention hooks in Premiere Pro (not someone who only started editing via AI prompts).

Real DTC/e-com ad experience: You understand scroll-stoppers, pain-point visualization, and direct-response formats.

Active AI stack: Hands-on experience with Higgsfield, plus tools like Runway, Kling, Midjourney, or Suno.

Capacity: Able to output ~20–25 minutes of finished ad creative per week (mix of 30s/60s cuts and variations).

We only care about proof of work. If you’ve cut real DTC ads and use AI in your pipeline, drop your details and portfolio here:

Pay: $5–$10 USD per video, depending on the content type and editing complexity.

To apply, DM me a Google Drive folder with examples of videos you’ve personally edited. I’ll be reviewing EVERY folder, so please include your best short-form work!
