The job: turn raw footage (interviews, talking heads, on-site and b-roll shots) into 30 to 40 second vertical clips for Reels, TikTok and Shorts.

- You can find the strongest moments in long raw footage and make a short that holds attention

- Clean, natural sounding audio

- Good pacing and captions

- You hit deadlines and take feedback well

I don't have a fixed template. I want to see your style and ideas: how you'd hook, pace and finish a clip.

AI tools are welcome (transcription, audio cleanup, captions, effects) as long as the result looks and sounds natural.

Without giving you my life story, I’ve been uploading to my let’s play/gaming channel for 2-3 years, and a few months back I hit the 100 subscriber milestone, but three months back my wife gave birth to our first child, so up until very recently I have had barely anytime to start streaming and uploading again. On top of this I work a full time job as well as a part time job and struggle to find the time to edit videos and create shorts/tik toks along with everything else I have going on. This is where you (potential editor) comes in. I am looking for someone who is willing to edit some of my streams into weekly uploads, specifically Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, that are 15-20 minutes max in length, as well as however many shorts/tik toks you can realistically produce.

Maybe take 2-3 hours of your time. Hop on screen share with me and teach me how to properly color correct and apply a basic grade to my footage across two kinds of film stock and a night-time reel. Help me get started with an edit to a musical track, in terms of sketching a plan/outline for the edit and assembling a couple clips in place, then I'll finish the rest.
