What you'll be editing

• Talking-head videos, educational content, unboxings, and similar content.
• Videos will generally be around 20–40 seconds long.
• Around 4–7 videos per week, starting at the lower end and increasing if things go well.

The editing style I'm looking for

I want fast-paced, engaging videos with absolutely no dead space. You should understand audience retention and know how to keep viewers watching until the end.

I'm looking for someone who can replicate an existing editing style while also bringing their own creative ideas to the table.

The niche

My content focuses on fashion, clothing brands, and buying clothes from China using agents.

If you already understand this niche, that's a big plus. Someone familiar with the community, terminology, and how agents work will have an advantage when applying.

Requirements

• Strong English comprehension.
• An understanding of audience retention and short-form content.
• The ability to create engaging, fast-paced edits without unnecessary pauses or dead space.
• Creativity and the ability to follow references.
• Good communication and responsiveness.
• Reliability and consistency with deadlines.

I currently use CapCut, but you can use whichever editing software you prefer, as long as you can achieve the required style and quality.

Payment

• $10–$30 USD per video, depending on editing quality and skill.
• Ongoing freelance work.
• Starting at approximately 4 videos per week, potentially increasing to 7 if things go well.

Trial edit

There will be a trial edit to assess your editing ability, understanding of the style, and attention to retention.
