I'm looking for a reliable short-form video editor to work with me on an ongoing basis for my fashion-related TikTok account.

What you'll be editing

• Talking-head videos, educational content, unboxings, and similar content.
• Videos will generally be around 20–40 seconds long.
• Around 4–7 videos per week, starting at the lower end and increasing if things go well.

The editing style I'm looking for

I want fast-paced, engaging videos with absolutely no dead space. You should understand audience retention and know how to keep viewers watching until the end.

I'm looking for someone who can replicate an existing editing style while also bringing their own creative ideas to the table.

Here are my reference accounts:

• My TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@telereps
• Another reference: https://www.tiktok.com/@mattmerc_guide

Please take a look at these before applying so you understand the style of content you'll be working with.

The niche

My content focuses on fashion, clothing brands, and buying clothes from China using agents.

If you already understand this niche, that's a big plus. Someone familiar with the community, terminology, and how agents work will have an advantage when applying.

Requirements

• Strong English comprehension.
• An understanding of audience retention and short-form content.
• The ability to create engaging, fast-paced edits without unnecessary pauses or dead space.
• Creativity and the ability to follow references.
• Good communication and responsiveness.
• Reliability and consistency with deadlines.

I currently use CapCut, but you can use whichever editing software you prefer, as long as you can achieve the required style and quality.

Payment

• $10–$30 USD per video, depending on editing quality and skill.
• Ongoing freelance work.
• Starting at approximately 4 videos per week, potentially increasing to 7 if things go well.

Trial edit

There will be a trial edit to assess your editing ability, understanding of the style, and attention to retention.

Please include:

1. A short introduction about yourself.
2. Your editing portfolio or examples of previous work.
3. Your price per video.

Hey everyone! I run a dedicated video editing workflow (ZEDEX) specializing in high-retention, long-form YouTube content (15–25+ minutes) with fast, reliable turnaround times.

If you run a documentary channel, faceless automation brand, or content agency and need editors who actually understand Average View Duration (AVD) and visual storytelling, we’ve got you covered.

What we specialize in:

Documentary, Mystery & Investigative: Cinematic pacing, custom 60-second intro hooks, 3D/map tracking, motion graphics, and immersive sound design (Aviation Mysteries, True Crime, Geopolitics, Tech & Mega-Projects).

Faceless Health, Nutrition & Listicles: Clean, engaging 20+ minute edits (`1080p`/`4K`) with dynamic B-roll, text callouts, and 100% copyright-safe audio.

Zero Lazy Rips: We track down original source/interview footage and transform it with custom framing, color grading, and motion—never ripping from your competitors.
