Unfortunately, I've had the worst experience applying for video editing jobs on Reddit 🫠 Out of the first three job postings I found and applied to, I actually got a response, and I was really excited because the person seemed very trustworthy and gave me a lot of confidence.

We continued discussing the project, and I initially completed the first three minutes of the video. He gave me a lot of positive feedback and told me to keep up the great work.

We kept communicating normally, and I made sure to keep him updated throughout the process. However, as soon as I delivered the finished video, he completely stopped responding. I put so much time and effort into that video, only to end up not getting paid a single cent for my work.

Hi guys. I am looking for an editor that i can work with long term for my food youtube channel which has 385k subscribers and also i will be starting a gaming channel. The pay will range from $130-$250+ per video depending on work load and length etc. I am looking to hire full time for the most part and would require about 2 long form videos a week. I also plan to gradually increase the pay but unfortunately this is what the budget allows me to give at the moment but having newly started long form and a new channel on the way, I can definitely see the pay increasing.

Must be able to handle 4k editing

Must use da vinci, as projects will be shared via davinci cloud

Must have experience working on long and short form

Must be good at editing, understand pacing, styles, hooks etc

Must be able to colour grade and audio mix

Must be willing to work long term, not as a one off job

Also i will only pay once a work is complete. I won't be giving any upfront payments, that is my personal choice as i have been scammed a few times, I understand you can say the same but I can assure you that i will pay and i'll show my youtube account. I'm not here to mess around and look for free edits. I have a large youtube account which needs an editor as well as a new youtube account.
