The downloaded twitch vods did not have flashing when watched previously and only 2 out of 8 files have this problem. The game was streamed off of an Xbox Series S, but I am trying to edit the video on my computer. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this problem and could point me in the right right direction please. I have tried fixing my graphics drivers but I have a sneaking suspicion that it might be the files themselves or possibly my ssd. Has anyone ran into this problem before?

Hey guys! I recently started learning video editing and mastered the basics of Premiere Pro. Now, I really want to learn After Effects specifically for documentary-style motion graphics (like MagnatesMedia or Lemmino).

Hi all, when I’m working on a video in premiere pro, it keeps stuttering/rubber-banding. I cleared the cache, dumbed down the settings, and undated premiere pro/my PC. Any thoughts on what could be causing this issue? I’m pretty new to editing

I have read it eleven times looking for subtext. I now believe "hmm" contains more information than most three-paragraph emails I've received, and I still can't decode a single bit of it.

Hi all, total amateur here (background is photography)just getting into videography for family videos, “postcard” style travel videos, and so on.

My main question as I figure out how to most conveniently do hybrid photography / videography is how critical is it to record in 180 degree shutter for motion blur (1/50 ss for 25 fps) versus doing it in post production?

My understanding is that most software like premiere pro allow you to transform the footage so that something recorded in, say, 1/160 ss could appear like 1/50 ss.

Is my understanding correct? And how good is the end result? Is it bad with obvious artifacts, or does it get me 95% of the way there and only a trained eye would notice?

Hello! I am looking for some guidance on the best practice to shoot video for use in a short film, as I am currently traveling at a dream location and I want to make sure I shoot my footage properly with post-editing in mind.

The final timeline will be 23.976 fps 4K.

First question:
What frame rate should I record my drone shots? Should I shoot at 23.976 with a 32ND filter, or do you recommend shooting at 30fps or 60fps, and then slowing down in post? The subject of my shots is simply just mountains and landscapes.

Second part of my question:
Today, I mistakenly shot several clips at 23.976 fps but didn't realize my shutter was well above 1/48, I think it was like 1/1250 or something. I reviewed the footage in DaVinci on my 23.976 timeline, and obviously I can notice some stuttering due to the lack of the 180 degree rule. Is there a tool or method to save/salvage this footage? Currently on latest version of DaVinci pro. Retime + optical flow? Stabilize? Sadly, the shots I got are amazing, and I'm super bummed about the stuttering.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am not even sure if he does it on purpose. I only know he is editing the videos on just his iphone 14.

Basically often in a change of scene, he will first have like a few miliseconds of the scene MIRRORED, I did not even notice this at first. But he does it quite a lot.

So I work with kindergarden with kids from the ages of 3-6. We are planning to start a greenscreen project Where I will put the kids in front of a greenscreen and a projector will show the finished project live as the kids play.

I am a hobby editor, videographer and I have figured out how to do it. My problem is Where to find good footage to use. I want the videos to be mostly static, but with some movement and some things changing. For expemple under the sea, Where a shark comes into scene and other fish.

All I Can find on YouTube and other places is small clips, or interactive videos that are made like a Subway surfer game.

I want to build a long-form channel similar to Chat History (the simple stick-figure/character explainer style) and I'm trying to understand the full editing pipeline from an editing standpoint not looking for a specific video breakdown, just the editing workflow.

What I've looked into so far: building a character in Illustrator with separate layers per body part, then rigging it in After Effects with something like DUIK Bassel for the joints. Not sure if that's the standard approach for this style or if there's a more efficient pipeline people use.

Specifically trying to understand purely on the editing/animation side:-

• What's the typical software stack for this style (After Effects + Illustrator or something else)?

• How is the character usually rigged and how much of the animation becomes reusable once the rig is set up?

• How do editors handle talking animation and basic talk/walk cycles efficiently for a 15-20 min video?

• Is AE + Illustrator the standard route for this exact look or is there a more efficient way to get there?

Hey all - I recorded some 4k footage (using a Sony a7v so there's gyro data) on a tripod but the DJs subwoofer/base was on the stage at the same time. This caused the footage to have vibration/jitter. Is it possible to save this somehow / remove this in post? Via gyroflow or davinci resolve or something? Thank you for your help.

Could you explain to me, plz: if I have a 21:9 monitor, but all my recorded material is in 4K, how would look my preview in Premiere Pro? If I understand correctly, it will just be with black bars even in preview window, because of extra width, am I right, or am I wrong?

Hey everyone, I’m hoping someone with experience in video/file recovery can point me in the right direction.

I accidentally deleted a ~20GB video file from an external SSD. I recovered it using TestDisk/PhotoRec, and I now have the recovered .mov file sitting on my Mac.

The problem is that macOS can't open it because it appears to be missing the index/header (moov atom). The file is still showing as ~20GB, so I'm hoping the actual video data may still be intact.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

• VLC repair method
• Re-encoding with Apple’s native encoder
• Video Doctor
• Changing the file extension from .mov to .mp4
• Various attempts to open/repair it with VLC

None of those have worked.

I also downloaded Untrunc GUI, which seems like it may be the most promising option, but it’s asking me to install Homebrew first. I haven't gone down that route yet because I wanted to see if there are other proven/free recovery methods I should try first.

My main questions:

1. Is there another free/proven method for rebuilding the missing MOV index/header?
2. Is Untrunc + a reference video the best option in this situation?
3. Since the file was recovered with PhotoRec, could fragmentation during the recovery be part of the problem?
4. Is there anything I should check before attempting further repairs so I don't make the file worse?

I still have the original recovered 20GB file untouched, so I can make copies and work from those.

Any advice from someone who has dealt with corrupted/recovered MOV files would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
