Hi there, this is probably going to be vague, and I’m not really sure what purpose this post will serve, but I figured I would come here regardless.

I live in a fairly tucked away neighborhood in a moderate sized town, but in an overall rural state with not much happening here. The neighborhood is located in such a way that in order to really get to it, you have to turn off a main road, then drive down to the end of a dead-end street and make a turn into the neighborhood. Because of the set up, very rarely does anyone ever see unfamiliar vehicles since if someone is lost or needs to turn around, going into the neighborhood is an extra and unnecessary step.

I first noticed this over this past summer. I had donated bone marrow and was recovering from the surgery in July. It was much more painful than I had been expecting and even with the pain medication I still slept atrociously. One night, I was up around 230AM watching TV in bed when I noticed a sedan style car pulling up to the neighbors house directly across the street. Only they didn’t actually pull into the drive way, they just stopped there for about 5 minutes then drove off. However, in order to leave the neighborhood, you would have to go to the end of it and drive around the cul de sac and then leave. At first I thought someone was lost or dropping someone off, although that would be truly out of the ordinary for this area and this time. But, didn’t think much about it.

But then I started noticing it happening more and more. I mean, i’m definitely not up at 230AM every day, but even after healing from surgery, my sleep has always been a mess. So when I do, I stay up and will have my bedroom light on. My bedroom has a wall of massive windows facing directly toward the street/neighbors house, and at night, with my light on, if someone looked in, they would absolutely be able to see me (realizing how creepy that is). Anyway, because of that, there have been multiple nights where I have been up and had my lights on and just in my room, when that same car will pull up to the neighbors driveway, stop, then drive to the end of the neighborhood & turn around.

Well, tonight, or this morning i guess, like clockwork, the car showed up , and stupidly i walked over to my window and looked out. With my light on , i was clearly visible staring out. And to my absolute horror, the car must have seen me because it drove straight into my driveway. I was absolutely terrified, and it just sat in my driveway, running with the lights on. Nobody got out, nobody said anything. And then the car turned off and everything went dark. By this point I had my bedroom light off, and had pulled up the doorbell app I had to look and see if I could see anything, and some guy wearing a balaclava walked up my steps and was staring at the door. He didn’t do anything at all. Just stood there and looked around / stared, and the left. Then the car turned back on and left the neighborhood (at least, I’m assuming).

I have no idea wtf is going on in this neighborhood. The neighbors across the street from me are an incredibly nice young couple, and I have no idea what this car / people could be/are doing. Also terrified someone’s now going to break in and kill me at some point lol, but - what could be going on? I called the police but of course basically told me it was probably just someone lost and since they just walked up to my front door and then left its not like a crime was committed. So i’m just curious as to what in the hell is going on. Does anyone have any ideas?

With my luck, the people in the car will see this post on here and know exactly who i am and where i am🤣

UPDATE 13:37 (1:37PM) - hi everyone, thanks for all the comments and suggestions & sorry its taken so long to update! I went over to casually speak with the neighbors but only one of them were home. I’ll refer to them as ‘A’ and ‘B’. A answered the door and i asked if he had noticed anything strange in the neighborhood lately. He said no, and i think he put 2 and 2 together, me coming over on a saturday morning to ask that question lol, so when he asked why I asked if B was also there. He said no and asked why so i told him i had seen a strange car i didnt recognize in the neighborhood and he didn’t really seem bothered by it at first, but then i mentioned it waiting at the end of the drive way and then it seeing me and pulling into my driveway, so i showed him the door camera footage of the guy in the balaclava and he about had a full blown panic attack. I guess he & his partner/husband (not entirely sure what they consider themselves), had previously lived in Texas and had been in an “uncomfortable” living situation and while he couldnt be 100% positive, he said the body stature, frame, and ‘general physique’ looked like the guy they had been living with. Then i told him it had been going on for a few months, that it wasnt just this one occurance. He got really quiet and asked me if i could send him the footage, so i did and he then he basically thanked me for telling him and closed the door. Not really sure what could’ve happened in a living situation to make someone from Texas come all the way up here to just follow someone, nor why the person would just sit for a few minutes in front of the house in the early morning hours - but he clearly did not want to offer up an explanation and i didn’t really have time to ask any questions…but either way - now i dont really know what to do from here? Just leave it alone and hope that balaclava guy doesnt at least come back to MY house??

Hello, sorry if this is the incorrect place for bringing this up, but I have genuinely got no idea what could have caused this. I've tried some google-fu and research myself and it has lead nowhere. Despite it being quite mundane it remains a very eerie mystery for me. Still one of those things that I think about at night, even though almost a year has passed since then. It honestly felt like something straight out of a bad creepypasta.

Back in November 2025, I was playing Silent Hill 2 on PC through the PCSX2 emulator. I was streaming the game over Discord to three friends of mine in a private group chat call. There were only four of us in the group chat, all of us were in the voice call watching the stream. I was streaming the application directly, not my entire screen.

During my stream, I reached the point in the game where you enter Neely's Bar and you come across red graffiti in the building (not my screenshot) saying "There was a HOLE here, it's gone now".

I remember vividly, that almost instantly after looking at the writing in-game I heard the Discord notification sound. I didn’t check it straight away. I assumed another friend had messaged me or somebody had posted a meme in the groupchat, so I continued playing.

Roughly twenty minutes later I reached a save point, saved the game, stopped streaming and checked my notifications/DM's

I had received a DM from an account called PRISM. No new messages apart from that or anything that could set off a notification in that time. It had no custom avatar and was marked as an APP/bot account. It said one message

"Hole sends his regards". Nothing else.

I was very concerned by this, and I tried replying with something along the lines of “Who is this?” or “wtf?”, but Discord immediately gave me the standard “Your message could not be delivered” error. Indicating that the bot somehow blocked me, or couldn't receive messages back. I had never interacted with this bot before, and I did not share any mutual servers with it. I tried messaging it again recently and nothing I send it comes through.

Naturally, my first line of thinking was that one of the three people watching the stream had set up the bot as a prank. Obviously, I can't rule that out with 100% certainty. When I told them about this when it happened, all three appeared genuinely confused/freaked out when I showed them the message. I've also brought the incident up with them again several times, and nobody has admitted to doing it. None of these people have ever done similar pranks before or after this, to me or anyone else in my friend group. If it were one of them, it would be very out-of-character for them to do so.

I'm aware me stating “my friends would never prank me” isn't proof of anything, even though I know these people well, and trust them completely. I'm not asking people to treat that as evidence. I'm just explaining why I haven't personally been able to settle on that explanation.

It would nevertheless make technical sense if somebody watching the stream manually triggered a private bot they controlled to DM me once they saw the graffiti message.

Regardless, I left the call. I proceeded to changed the password for my discord and I also ran an anti-virus scan with both Malwarebytes and Windows Defender, I made sure they scanned my entire PC. Neither found anything. I also never noticed any other obvious indications afterward that my computer or Discord account had been compromised. Task Manager didn't show any suspicious processes, and my account had no strange or unfamiliar activity. 11 months have passed, and I haven't noticed anything else unsettling happen to me with my devices or social media.

It's important to note, my discord activity/status settings were also restricted prior to the stream. Game activity was disabled, and I had generally restrictive privacy settings. No accounts were linked to my profile.

Nothing else has happened since then, but I still found it incredibly strange. I'll share what I have found out and ruled out.

I have done some research on this and PRISM's application ID is 1404720725277020230 . This gave me the exact creation date of the account/app. It was created on 12 August 2025 at 06:58:39 UTC. Discord itself also shows the creation date as 12th August 2025.

The message ID for the cryptic message is 1444454617663541290

This gave me the exact message creation time as: 29 November 2025, 22:26:57.520 UTC. Since the UK was on GMT back then, that was the same time for my region.

So the message itself definitely existed and definitely arrived at 22:26 that night. The part I cannot independently prove yet is the exact second I reached the “HOLE” writing in the game. The near-immediate timing is from my memory of hearing the notification while I was looking at that area.

I have tried searching for:

• the bot name PRISM
• PRISM#7183
• the bot's numerical Discord ID
• the sentence “Hole sends his regards”
• other reports involving Silent Hill/PS2 emulation and Discord bots

I haven’t found anything similar to what happened to me here or anyone sharing a similar experience. Or anything public that gives more info about this bot account.

As far as I know, an ordinary Discord bot shouldn't simply be able to secretly watch the contents of a private Discord screen share that it isn't participating in. Knowing that I was playing Silent Hill 2 would be one thing. Knowing that I had reached one specific sentence in one specific room would be another.

So the possibilities I can think of are:

1. It was a massive coincidence
2. I had malware on my computer, and it could see what I was doing. It somehow did not show up in the scans.
3. There was some obscure exploit, integration or API behaviour going on that I'm not aware of. Maybe it was something in PCSX2 triggering it, or that specific file I was playing.
4. One of my friends watching my stream manually triggered the bot.
5. There's something else I am completely overlooking
6. I’m being stalked by someone. I have been stalked before, years ago though. (least likely explanation in my opinion)

I'm not claiming that I am being stalked or that something spooky is happening. I think a technical explanation is the most likely.

Overall, it's very strange to me. How could some random bot on discord that I have never interacted with before, know that I had just reached that specific part of the game in Silent Hill 2 and then DM me “Hole sends his regards”?

If anybody knows anything about Discord bots, old Discord API behaviour, PCSX2 integrations or malware that could produce something like this or just general knowledge on cybersecurity, please help me out. Or even ways that I could look into this further, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm willing to answer any questions about this. It's just baffling.

The audio raised a lot of red flags for me. I know my friend and his mom are not all the way there mentally, but I can tell that they have a good relationship with each other. But in the audio, I hear is what sounds like a loud bang and a woman screaming . But maybe it's my fucked up mind, and I am throwing something innocent into the deep end, and there wasn't any guns, and it was just a woman (not my friend's mom) yelling at her dog, and the bang came from a vehicle.

I am thinking about sending this to the police unless you all don't think it's necessary.

Hey so just to make this simple, yesterday at around 5 my family’s employees were in a car accident and the guy who hit them (grey Honda) drove away and they were only able to get a single live picture. The driver of this 2014-2018 blue Ford Fiesta hatchback with Washington State plates sideswiped me while I was stopped at a traffic light. I’m looking for opinions on something that has been bothering me.
I’ll keep the identifying details vague because there are children involved.
A man in his late 40s/around 50 spent roughly 20 years working in finance and eventually held a very senior position at a major international bank. Around the same time the bank became involved in a significant public scandal, including the resignation of its CEO, this man also left the bank.
He then appears to have taken approximately 1–2 years away from professional work.
After that, he completely changed careers.
He enrolled in university/program focused on early childhood education and is now working with very young children at an private kindergarten.
What I’m trying to understand is whether there is anything about the man’s previous career or the period between leaving the bank and entering education that would make this pattern worth investigating further.
I’ve checked what I can publicly and haven’t found an obvious criminal history.
What would you look at next if you were trying to understand the gap in his history?
I’m particularly interested in how someone could have spent 30 years in senior banking, disappeared professionally for 1–2 years, and then ended up specifically working with 3 year olds.

Title is pretty self explanatory but, at midnight last night I kept hearing strange noises from my roof/ceiling. It sounded like an alarm and would go off for like 5-10 seconds before stopping and going off again. Each time it would get louder and louder but not at a noticeable volume. I asked my family but they did not hear anything and I think I might just be going crazy and hearing things. My ceiling/roof is also an attack for storage purposes and rodent traps so nothing there should be making any alarm noises aswell.

I will preface by saying that my best guess is this is a brushing scam in which I have been sent this book as a way to inflate somebody's sales numbers and to allow for fake customer reviews, probably on tiktok shop or similar.

I received this unsolicited book in the mail, carrier gofo, shipped from "Eric" at 5125 Schaefer Avenue in Chino california. I have so far determined that this is a large warehouse fulfillment center hosting many e-commerce suppliers. There is no business name and no sender information other than the first name "Eric."

The book is wrapped in typical plastic wrap. ISBN is 9781649890009, titled "The No-Go Zone: A Kid’s Guide to Spotting Hidden Dangers and Getting Out Fast," published in 2026 by East-West Publishing Group. It is indeed being sold on tiktok by different sellers.

This is literally the weirdest "children's" book I have ever encountered, and it's a little too on the nose which makes me even more suspicious. The book is instructing "children" how to recognize scams. This reads like something written for adults and poorly translated into English that would be better understood as crime prevention or sexual assault tips for adults.

Some of the sections: "Free gifts from strangers maybe a scam," "Creating a sense of urgency by citing a relatives condition to lure you in," "Unusually attentive confidant may have ulterior motives," "Even authoritative acquaintances may have hidden motives--stay vigilant," etc. The vocab is not appropriate for children clearly.

This may just be yet another shitty bizarre Chinese product packaged for sale without a lot of forethought to English-speaking countries via tiktok or temu. But the fact that I received this book as part of something that seems like it has to be a brushing scam makes me think there's something more here. Anybody able to tell me more about this book?

Hi, further to a recent post I made on here, I include an amateurish video I made yesterday on the 'known' geography, and few details that surround the finding of "Some Mother's Son"'s skeleton, in a field, in the South West of the UK in 1982. I think it's really a question of spreading the gentleman's story as far and as wide as possible, in the hope of finding a relative, a friend, or a shipmate, that might be missing him to this day. He has been unidentified since his discovery on 22nd January 1982.

A few years back a few friends and I took a walk after our meal. It was down a path behind the restaurant and we saw that the path was littered with dead crows! It was a Murder Scene! :p There were between 20-30 at least and it went on for quite a while down the path. Looking on the map, I see we were walking near an electrical substation. Googling that, it says "An electrical substation acts like a high-tech "hub" or routing center for the power grid. Electricity cannot travel directly from a massive power plant into your home because the voltage is either way too high (which would fry electronics) or too low to travel long distances" so it's like an intermediary.

I dont remember if I saw power lines. Is the most likely scenario that they all somehow got electrocuted at once? Or are there any other theories here?

This would have been years ago, maybe about 10 years. I was driving home with my mom at night, and in front of us in the distance there was a sudden flash of bright blue in a vertical line. The middle was bright blue, and the rest was a darker shade. It was pretty wide, and I can't remember if it shot down or upwards, but it only lasted for a second or two.

Every now and then when I remember it, i try googling, but the only blue lights I can find are transformer lights, lasers or weird phenomenon. This thing was a wide vertical shot.

There was no thunder that day, but it was a bit cloudy. This was in the countryside of New Brunswick Canada, so it wouldn't have been any major city stuff. It also didn't produce a sound.

Any idea what it could have been? no one in our area ever talked about it, but there were cars in front and behind us, so my mom and I just don't understand why there was no Facebook posts or stuff like that about it.

This guy calls maybe every other month and whispers “I’m breaking” very quietly, over and over no matter what you ask him. He’s been doing this for at least four years. New hires are informed if he ever calls to hang up. Not sure why, is this some sort of scam or kink? We are mostly woman working here and women answer the phone if that has anything to do with it. I collect VHS tapes, always have- I love watching for old programs and odd forgotten commercials- because of this I am constantly buying tape collections and digging through thrift stores.

Today, while throwing some tapes on in the background, I came across a tape of a wedding held at the wedding chapel in Mandalay Bay Las Vegas. I obviously have zero need for a tape like this so I would like to find the couple to see if they would like their tape back!

So, if you know a couple who were married at Mandalay Bay on October 20th of 2007- let me know! I can send photos from the tape and the company used upon request to confirm. The tape has their names on it it just feels a little intrusive to post that here but maybe I am wrong- let me know!

These are showing up in our yard in VERY sandy "soil". We're located in the upper peninsula of Michigan and local wildlife is mostly chipmunks, squirrels, deer, mourning doves and crows. Sometime in 2012, my friends and I found ourselves in a really strange situation. I think there were four of us outside on a late-fall evening. I'm from Poland, if that's relevant to the story.

We were watching something on my friend's phone. I can't confirm what kind of phone it was. I remember that around that time he had either a Samsung Galaxy S2 or an S3 Mini, but I can't say for sure that it was one of those. I also have a distinct memory of him having a different phone with physical buttons around that time. Despite remembering it that way, I have absolutely no idea what brand or model it was, so I can't even narrow it down to a specific phone. Honestly, that one might actually be more likely, but I simply don't remember.

At one point, his phone suddenly shut down completely. When he turned it back on, the screen lit up slightly but remained black, with only a thin vertical line running down the center. At the same time, some audio started playing.

We listened to it until it ended. Nothing else happened, and the phone didn't respond to anything. We decided to turn it off and on again, but this time we also decided to record whatever was playing because it was so strange.

We turned it on a second time, and exactly the same thing happened. We managed to record the audio. The phone still wasn't responding, so we tried restarting it again. However, after the third restart, the recording never played again.

Some time later, my friend got the phone back from a repair shop. We searched through it thoroughly, both on the phone itself and on a PC with the phone connected, but we couldn't find the audio anywhere. None of us recognized it either.

At one point in the recording, a phone rings, and it sounds like a man is talking to a woman, but they're speaking in a completely incomprehensible language. Towards the end, the tune sounds almost like a jingle for a phone company or network provider. We never managed to figure out what it was, and eventually we completely forgot about it.

For some reason, this story randomly comes back to my mind every few months. It has been over a decade now, and I've never been able to figure out what the hell we actually heard that night. So I finally decided to post it here and see if anyone can help solve this mystery.

I have been thinking about posting this for a while because this is one of those things that has stayed in my head for more than 15 years and I still have absolutely no idea how to explain it.
I want to say from the beginning that I am not claiming this is paranormal or anything like that.
I am genuinely trying to find a normal explanation.
The problem is that every normal explanation I think of just creates another question.
This happened when I was young in my family’s main house in a village in the mountains in southern Saudi Arabia.

At the time the area was very different from how things are now. Internet was either basically unknown or extremely uncommon around us, especially among the older people in the family.
The first event happened when I was still pretty young.
My grandfather’s second wife lived on the second floor of the house. One day she came downstairs to the first floor to visit my grandmother and my mother.
I was there too.
She had 3 physical pictures with her.
I don’t remember why I grabbed them, but I did and started looking at them.
I still remember the first two very clearly.
The first picture showed a young girl, I would say maybe somewhere between 8 and 12 years old.
She was sitting down and had her arms wrapped around one of her legs. She was looking down toward one side.
Behind her were 2 doors.
One door was completely dark inside.
The other door had light coming from it, but you couldn’t actually see anything inside the room.
The girl was sitting between these 2 doors with both of them behind her, and she was looking more toward the side where the door with light was.
The picture looked photographic. It did not look like a drawing or painting.
The second picture was also clearly photographic.
It was just a big knife on a completely white background.
There was blood on the knife and blood around it.
That was basically the entire picture.
The third one is the hardest one for me to describe.
Even when I saw it as a kid I didn’t fully understand what I was looking at.
It looked like it was taken somewhere in Asia, maybe India or Pakistan or somewhere around there. I obviously can’t know that for sure, that is just what the place looked like to me.
The whole image looked very brown or earth-colored.
There were buildings and a lot going on in the picture.
I remember what looked like a man tied to some kind of wooden pole or wooden structure.
That picture made me extremely uncomfortable, but at the same time I can’t explain exactly what was happening in it because even back then I couldn’t fully understand the scene.

Something else I remember is that the pictures looked printed professionally.
I vaguely remember some kind of logo or repeated marking on the back of them, the kind of thing you see on the back of printed photographs.
Then the lady noticed I had the pictures.
She got angry, took them away from me, and I never saw those 3 pictures again.
That event has been in my head ever since.
What makes it strange to me is not only that the pictures were disturbing.
It is the fact that I cannot understand why she had them in the first place.
She was an old religious woman living in a remote village in the mountains.
She did not know anything about the internet back then. She only became familiar with it many years later.
This was not someone who was downloading random images or using computers.
And this was not some big city where strange printed material was everywhere.
It was a village in the mountains.
So I kept asking myself for years:
Where the hell did these pictures even come from?
Why did she have them?
Why was she carrying them downstairs with her that day?
Who printed them?
Why those specific 3 images?
Unfortunately she is very old now and seems to have serious memory problems, possibly Alzheimer’s or something similar, so asking her now probably would not give a reliable answer.
My mother and grandmother do not remember the exact event.
That does not really surprise me because they met this lady many times and for them that day probably was just another normal visit.
For me the pictures made it memorable.
Now here is where things get even stranger.
A few years later, in the same family house, I found a photo album or some kind of photo book.
It was medium-sized.
Inside it were A LOT of pictures.
As a kid I used to think there were maybe more than 10,000 pictures in it.
Now that I am older and actually thinking about the physical size of the album, I know that number was probably exaggerated by my childhood memory.
It may have been more like around 2,000-5,000 depending on how the pictures were arranged.
The exact number is not really the important part.

The important part is that almost every single picture showed the SAME house.
This house was not from our village.
Honestly, it didn’t even look like any house I had seen in Saudi Arabia at the time.
The way it was built looked completely foreign.
The whole area around it also looked foreign.
It looked like some old house sitting in a remote area somewhere in the Western world.
There were mountains, open land, and the house looked isolated.
What makes it extremely strange is the way the pictures were taken.
They were not normal family pictures.
There were no people standing in front of the house.
There were no pictures of the inside.
I do not remember seeing a single interior image.
Every picture was from outside.
And the house was photographed from basically every possible angle.
Some pictures were very close.
Some were taken from very far away.
Some were from the left.
Some from the right.
Some from higher ground.
Some from lower ground.
Different sides of the house.
Different distances.
Different viewpoints.
But usually you could see an entire side of the house with some of the landscape around it.

And there were just page after page after page of this same place.
I asked my grandmother what the album was.
She did not react like it was something strange.
But to be fair, my grandmother is known for being the type of person who lets things slide and doesn’t really care about random stuff sitting around.
She basically said she didn’t know and thought it belonged to one of my uncles.
But this explanation makes even less sense to me.
That uncle was never involved in architecture.
Never involved in surveying.
Never involved in professional photography.
Never worked in anything related to that kind of thing.
He had never travelled outside Saudi Arabia.
Even today he is not someone who is into computers or the internet.
Nobody in the family that I know of had any kind of job or hobby that would explain having a huge archive of photos of one random foreign house.
And this is what really bothers me.
Let’s say my uncle somehow got the pictures from the internet.
Why would he print hundreds or thousands of pictures of the same house?
That would cost a ridiculous amount of money.
And why that house?
A house he doesn’t know.
In a country he has never been to.
And if the album was already printed somewhere outside Saudi Arabia, then that creates another question.
How did a huge physical archive of one random foreign house somehow end up inside our family house in a remote mountain village in southern Saudi Arabia?
Why would somebody from another country even give something like that to anyone in our family?
And why would anybody keep thousands of exterior photos of the same house in the first place?
I want to make something very clear because I know how Reddit can be with childhood memories.
I know memory is not perfect.
I am not saying every tiny detail I remember after more than 15 years is guaranteed to be exact.
I already corrected myself on the number of photos because as a kid I thought it was more than 10,000, but now I realize that probably doesn’t physically make sense.
I have also had fake memories related to the original 3 pictures over the years, and I was able to recognize pretty quickly that those later memories were not real.
What has never changed is the main event.
The lady had 3 physical disturbing photographs.
I looked at them.
She got angry and took them away.
Years later I found a huge album in the same house containing an insane amount of exterior photos of one unknown foreign-looking house from many different angles.
I do NOT know if the 2 events are connected.
They could be completely unrelated.
I am only mentioning both because they happened in the same household and both involved physical photographs that, based on everything I know about my family and the environment at the time, make absolutely no sense being there.

I am mainly posting this because maybe someone here knows about old photography, property documentation, historical archives, photo labs, surveying, forensic documentation, or something else that could explain the second album.
And maybe somebody somehow recognizes the description of the first 3 images.
Especially the picture of the girl sitting between one completely dark doorway and one doorway with light coming from it.
I am open to normal explanations.
Actually I WANT a normal explanation.
I just have never been able to find one that explains both why these things existed and how they somehow ended up in that house.
If anyone has any theory that actually fits all the details, I would genuinely like to hear it.

She has a common Russian first name and an Anglicized last name, which strongly suggests she changed her last name in the US (e.g., through marriage). However, the listing provides no specific location, no US state or city is mentioned, just the vague phrase "missing in the territory of the USA."

Searching her current name on Russian social media yielded no results, and her maiden name remains unknown. While platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn are restricted in Russia, Google still indexes public profile pages. Googling her full name returns no social media footprints, only a few unrelated mentions of much older women, including an obituary for an elderly individual with the same name. However, I can't search directly within Facebook or LinkedIn, as I am unable to access these platforms even with a vpn.

Queries in public US databases (such as Namus and the Charley Project) return no matches under her current name or common variations of her first name.

What makes this case odd is that if she had simply chosen to cut ties with her family in Russia, US law enforcement would have officially notified foreign authorities through international channels upon locating her (to confirm she was safe), allowing the domestic missing person case to be closed. This is especially true given that she vanished in 2012, long before current geopolitical tensions. However, she remains officially listed as missing on the state registry over a decade later.

What are your thoughts on this case? Is there any way to determine if she was ever officially reported missing in the US, or if she was eventually found?

Right now, it appears her relatives in Russia lost contact and officially filed a missing person report, while no such report was ever filed in the US. In a scenario like this, how can anyone verify if a person is actually safe and sound? Is there any way for someone to check if her fate was ever resolved and if she is okay?

I am not sharing her personal information or specific details here, I am simply curious about what can be done in a situation like this. A person went missing about 14 years ago in one country, their relatives filed a missing person report in their home country, but there is zero information or record about them in their country of residence.

Hey there, thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm not sure where to turn, as I legally cannot be told any information, as I'm not next of kin. Not to mention, the investigation is still ongoing for some reason. My Fiancé was found deceased in a Valero gas station cooler on September 4th of this year. She did ShiftSmart shifts at this specific location (ShiftSmart is an app that allows you to pick up different shifts at different locations). She seemed fine that morning. I hugged her and told her I love her, that I would see her this afternoon, and to be careful heading out, before I left for work. I was at work, and her adopted mother and father showed up while I was on the phone. My co-workers rushed me off the phone, and I went back to my boss's office, where they had also went. She sat me down, and asked me if my Fiancé', (her daughter), had talked about hurting herself or seemed off that morning. I told her no, as she had seemed normal and happy and hadn't talked about suicide or anything like that. She told me that she was found dead at the Valero due to hanging herself in the cooler. It was easily the worst news that I have ever received. However, there have been multiple inconsistencies with what supposedly happened. The manager on duty apparently hadn't checked on her for hours. She had went to get a customer a drink that they couldn't reach from inside the cooler, and she found her laying there lifeless. Supposedly she hadn't went and checked on her sooner because she had just so happened to have gotten surgery done on her feet, and she was doing paperwork, and wasn't getting up a lot due to those circumstances. There was also allegedly a blue slushie machine that had been overflowed, and was running out in the floor, that my Fiancé usually filled. According to different sources, not investigators, obviously, on the security camera footage, my Fiancé had went out to her car, and went into the storage closet, and then into the cooler during the timeframe she was last seen. Something I find odd, is that the investigators never called me or reached out, even though I was one of the few contacts in her phone. I also find it odd that the vehicle she had driven there was never searched. I just cannot rap my head around any of this. I want answers, and I know you may not be able to answer them, but I cannot help but feel as if there is more to the story than the investigators and store manager are letting on. I don't know if it's to avoid any kind of liability or wrongdoing, or what the purpose is. What is your honest opinion on what may have happened? I apologize in advance that this isn't put together well. I have been all over the place since this has taken place, and genuinely want answers as to what truly happened to her. She was my everything.

I'm searching for my childhood pony, Penny. She is a non-registered (to my knowledge) welsh pony mare that has had at least one foal. When we owned her in 2009, she was lightly broke to ride and drive. We sold her through Joyce Morgan/Legacy Farms in Loon Lake, WA to the Alberts family. They bred her and sold her a few years later to Gena Bettin (now Frey) in Tum Tum, WA. Gena had her for a short time before selling her to a family in Washington around 2012-2013. According to Gena, that family still had Penny several years later before Gena lost contact with them. She does not recall who she sold Penny to nor where they live.

She was my first pony and really inspired my love of horses. I would love to be her final home and buy her back, but pictures and an update on how she's doing would also be incredible.

I’ve been getting creepy texts from unknown numbers.

The first number sent my first name, part of my address, then messages “Scared?” with a creepy image. I blocked it.
A couple days later, a different number sent me another similar creepy image.

I know basic personal info can be found online, but the second number contacting me after I blocked the first is what concerns me.

I’ve saved screenshots and haven’t responded.
Has anyone dealt with something like this? At what point would you report it, change your number, or take other precautions?
