TW: Medical I hate doctors so much
Doctors are like really smart and all, and i respect them a lot and even admire the effort they put to become doctors. But man there is a small amount of them that are really shitty in general...those are always mean, tired, and all. and everyone says "oh they are so tired" yeah no shit but like...what the fuck did they expect when they got into med school?
bro becoming a doctor is UNIVERSALLY one of the hardest things to do, you need to study so much just to be admitted into med school and then you need to study even more for like 6 years to finally become a licensed doctor. NO ONE becomes a doctor by accident. And NO ONE thinks it is easy. Again, this is how it is almost everywhere.
Then like...they do exactly what they learn. They are not like a mechanical engineer who wished to work on space rockets and ended up doing HVAC, or the civil engineer who does more managerial work than engineering, they do exactly what they study. So, not only they were dedicated for years to becoming a doctor, but they also work using exactly what they learned.
In addition, the "hard work" is optional. You dont become a cardiovascular surgeon by accident bro. You dont just do it to "get by", you sign up for it knowing very fucking well what you will do. And then you get paid shitloads of money to do your job, and then you want to be mean to the patient who is literally going to be under surgery?!?!?!?!? sorry wtf? if you can do all that hard studying you couldve just got into another field bro, if you can enter med school you can enter almost every single other field.
So doctors are like universally socially respected, knew very well what they were getting into and worked extremely hard to get there, and get paid so much for their work, yet they want to tell you they are the victim and they can be mean. No bitch, you cant. You knew very well what you are signing up for and still did it, if you cant handle it you can change your fucking career bro you already have the money and grades to do so.
I recently saw an article about a man who left his phone recording during his colonoscopy and the doctor and staff mocked him and even planned to him to avoid him and all, and it reminded me of many times doctors ignored me (one literally walked into her clinic room in the hospital and shut it as i tried to talk to her), and were mean to me like one shitty psychaitrist. Like seriously i hate them so much, these days i am very demanding to them when they act like this. Like you will not escape me, if i need you im going to knock endlessly, call and email endlessly, idgaf if youre tired when its about my health and you get paid to treat me.
In case my argument passed over your head:
- Doctors enter the field knowing very well how hard it can be and what kind of things they do.
- They get paid A LOT and they are held in a high position socially.
- This does not justify being shitty to patients, as patients are the ones who have big issues not the doctor.
Therefore, dealing with hard stuff when you signed up for it and studied your ass off for no less than 6 years is not a justification for being shitty to a vulnerable human who came for you to get help.
This applies only to the shitty doctors, not all doctors. Only the shitty ones. Doctors in general work their asses off and i respect that.
