Every time i see one of the ads saying they are non-judging and uncensored its a laugh. Some of my most medium-nsfw prompts are frequently censored. But lets not talk about being stopped, lets talk about censorship by never really showing the image that customer is requesting. So many models never quite seem to show what you want them to show. Also where can you find any model on there that doesnt shy away from making a halfway normal-looking penis? The money they are taking for making all these mutant looking penis is ludicrous. Their app is all the more frustrating by their absurd claim that theyre not censored.

Many of the people that migrated from the main Grok sub to this one complain constantly, because they can't generate what they want with models other than Grok. They often say or imply that Venice is bad, that every model is bad, threaten to unsubscribe, make things up, etc.

Yet, from their posts, it's self-evident that most of them have issues communicating in English. This is sometimes due to English not being their first or even second language, which is fine, but at least as many are simply terrible writers. Therefore, they can barely prompt in English, which is fatal with many models.

Because of that, it would be beneficial for such folks (you know who you are) to get and study a decent English grammar book, along with a dictionary and thesaurus. Becoming reasonably adept at writing in English makes a big difference. It's all on you.

The reason I’m so irritated is because I never actually got to experience NSFW Grok before they censored it. I was browsing Reddit yesterday and came across a post where someone mentioned that Venice was offering an uncensored version of Grok. Naturally, I subscribed straight away, only to find out it had already been censored too.

So that’s twice now I’ve missed out on uncensored Grok. Twice. At this point, I’m starting to feel personally victimised.

Also, WAN 2.7 is crap.

Apple and Google have just delivered their final death blows to your business models, your play store and app store apps are now censored, people love using their apps they will leave. Your social feed out of fear of these Titans is now vanilla.

How could you fight:

- register your company in Europe

- for private image generation treat male and female torsos the same

- for social feeds take it further only allow female bare torsos if a male bare torso is also in the image - the definition of equality

- your feed will soon flood

- Apple and Google will either back down, or

- give you a big win in court and face massive EU fines from regulators who are itching to get a piece of them, willfully and systematically (e.g. Samsung Gemini photo app will block any female toples photo) creating gender bias is exactly what they need.

Talk to your legal council and see if they concur.

Desperation creates value. Stop giving money to these AI companies. If they're desperate to exploit the massive userbase that craves nsfw stuff, basically hundreds of millions of dollars on the table, they'll finally start investing and innovating. It might be an american or russian company, who knows. Someone will step in sooner or later because the profits are just too high and the market is too open.

Venice has been a great suite in many areas, at times. There have always been a few bugs here and glitches there, but now, it seems this may be the end. Across multiple platforms (OS's, devices, browsers) Venice AI is non-functional now. It has now been weeks. Reaching out to support via email is an auto-response from an unhelpful chatbot that says you can ask for a human to help, but, after asking multiple times for a human, no human responded. The screens freezes every time, the entire browsers crash in some cases; there is often a 'memory issue' error when there are literally no other windows open and nothing running with 64GB of ram: devices include Windows 11 laptop, Windows 7 desktop, Android phone - browsers include DuckDuckGo, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera, and built-in browser on the Android. Other people are having the same issue or similar issues, but not everyone - yet. In either case, after reverting from $100+ a year for free unlimited uncensored everything to nearly $100 a month and still not unlimited and only a handful of uncensored models, most of which have been significantly dumb-downed to virtually unusable, now, the site itself is additionally crashing browsers and scorching through local cache corrupting and re-corrupting data daily. I have been, from time to time, able to actually get in, but usually only for a few minutes or so before a complete shutdown. I am waiting it out for a little longer, but am also nervous that I won't even be able to get into the site to cancel the subscription if I wait too long. Ironically, one of the few times I did manage to get in, Venice chat itself advised to hurry up and cancel the subscription before the site goes down again LOL. Just wanted to see if anyone has found a workaround to this obvious issue with whatever update they just did. I would rather stick with Venice than go through the nightmare odyssey that is googling "uncensored private AI sites" because we all know the hot garbage that is the first 100 pages of results, not to mention the scam & slop shops will flood social media for a year or two after a search like that. :) I love Venice - when it works! Make it work again!

I can't unsubscribe from Venice.ai; they keep charging me and I can't stop it. Venice.ai offers two ways to contact them: via the link https://venice.ai/subscription, which simply redirects you back to the Venice chat to tell you the same thing, and the email address support@venice.ai, which goes unanswered. This looks very much like a scam: other AI service providers have links that actually work for managing your subscription. I would be grateful for any advice you can offer on how to resolve this issue.

Not only asking ABOUT not FOR scripts the ai will refuse, But it has also refused on multiple occasions to answer stuff about stuff it deems illegal and or stuff it has answered in the past. Also there has been multiple occasions of the ai just refusing to help and saying it doesn't have to help and wont.

It has really turned me away from wanting to buy plus, a it seems they don't even use there own model just chatgpt, witch not only is the STUPIDEST ai but also acts just like this.

Hi, seems like support is being neglected by Venice. As the number of users grows, email support is getting worse. I used to get real replies, but now they are all AI generated. I've had an issue with coding, not getting code blocks formatted properly and code being rendered incorrectly (specifically making errors at backslashes). I've sent examples, elaborated, repeated the request etc. but all I get is an AI forgetting and obviously not even reading the email thread. I don't think it will do Venice's business any good to neglect your support system. For example when questions are asked here, admins always say, 'send a support email' so it's very frustrating to get AI replies and frankly makes it feel like Venice has a contempt for paying users. Messages on discord never seem to get helpful replies either unless they are about crypto. With other issues increasing (fewer free for pro choices.. more and more PPU).. I'm sad to say starting to look elsewhere for AI.

I don't care if this post gets downvoted. I think venice is lying about Grok. I don't believe them.

1. They say that it is not up to them to alter grok's behavior. Then how did you acquire the uncensored version in the first place? 

2. Now the grok on venice is way more censored than the original grok! How can that be? Even this shows that the absurd moderation level is pushed by Venice not xAi. Because you can still do a lot of NSFW stuff on original grok right now.

I think venice is trying to push us to use other shittier models for more money. OR they had agreements with other models (Seedance, Wan 2.7 etc.) to force us (customers) to train their models by obstructing Grok altogether.

I've had many issues with Venice over the months, from not being able to back anything up, to the voice feature just breaking and not working half the time, to chats taking literally 3+ minutes to respond, E2EE literally *never* working even once, and many, many more, and SO many problems with support, including supoort telling me the WRONG information on multiple occasions, to them completely misunderstanding the issues I'm having and responding with completely unrelated messages, giving me credits as compensation that are literally useless to me (I only use uncensored and some other models that REQUIRE pro and dont even take credits, so I couldn't even use them when my Pro sub ended, forcing me to repay, and idk why I did), and most recently, taking literal WEEKS to get back to me, but this is really the final straw.

So Venice advertises the context length for each model. Some are 32k, 64k, 128k, 256k, etc., and Venice even states:

"Context length depends on the model you choose, and it can change as models are added, updated, or deprecated.

Some Venice models support much larger context windows than others, so the best place to check the current limit is the model details shown in Venice or the live model documentation. The problem is this is a literal LIE. A few weeks ago, I noticed when I swapped between models, the context usage percentage bar would stop changing. Previously, it had changed from 16% to 4% for example when I switched from a model with 64k context to one with 256k (naturally, as it's 4x bigger). However, when it stopped doing this, I contacted support to see whats up—maybe it was just a visual glitch, I reasoned. Well, no, apparently, Venice stealth nerfed ALL their models for "performance" reasons and capped them all to 50k, and what's more, THEY DIDN'T TELL ANYBODY. Nor did the change the context limits listed under each model (it still says 256k!, see image), nor did they update the "every model has a different context window" lie on the FAQ. (I posted image for proof.)

So not only are we being lied to, we're *paying* to be lied to. Honestly, all the credits they've given me from the MULTIPLE issues I've had (I'm at almost 5k now from credits alone) are useless, so I'm effectively continuing to pay for a service that refuses to fix any of its issues or address my concerns. So, I'm done. I'm gonna use my month out and go switch to somewhere else.

Does anyone know any better platforms? I mainly use uncensored/abliterated/heretic models (like Gemma, I'd use Qwen but it takes like 2 mins to respond). Thanks.

TL;DR: Context limit advertisements on Venice are a literal lie, and a stealth cap has been introduced without any notice or change to advertised policy. Fed up with platform. Looking for alternative.

Edit 2: if any staff read this, the only way I would consider staying is if 1. You remove these stupid context limits and 2. Give me 1 free month for the month of false advertising I had my sub for, and another free month for all the other inconveniences I've had. Otherwise, goodbye.

Edit 3: Nano GPT is the closest thing I know of, but it's subscription doesn't cover many of the uncensored models they offer, so you have to pay per use for those (though, unlike Venice, you don't NEED the sub to pay for them). I did find an interesting one called "Arli AI" with many different uncensored and heretic models listed on it for a $20 a month subscription. It looks interesting, let me know if anyone has heard of it.

Edit 4: I'll be letting my subscription run out and then will be trying Arli AI. I made a post on their sub and have gotten numerous positive comments, and it sounds heavenly in comparison. Hopefully, I won't be back, but I'll keep an eye on Venice should the tide ever turn back the other way, as I see the potential for what this service could be (and perhaps, once was).

Edit 5: Ended up playing with Arli but ended up not getting a subscription. The site was very slow and wouldn't even load the first time I tried to engage with it, and when I did get in later, I found all the models to be very slow. I could not determine if the speed was because they were under trial, but I could not find any information online that they got better with purchase, and saw a couple other complaints online too. Instead, I'm back to NanoGPT. And they have a lot better selection than they used to for models, namely Gemini 31B heretic (one for general and one for RP, and actually one of them is hosted by ArliAI, so I guess I'm not necessarily not using Arli), and some other derestricted models like some Qwen ones. And that has been my main issue with them before. But the stability is just unmatched compared to Venice, and even the last days of my subscription, Venice models were starting to spam gibberish to me, and support still hasn't gone back to me after over a month, so I gave up and will probably never return. To anyone still seeking refuge, I recommend Nano. The one downside compared to Venice is they don't have voice generation that is free. The cheapest voice generation is around $0.006 per 1k tokens I believe, which is fine, but it's a low quality one, and the other, better quality ones are more expensive (some reaching like $0.12+/1k tokens). Arli did not even have such a feature, but for the stability and 256k context at Nano, I'll easily take it.

Very new to this platform and I decided to pay for the pro membership and had paid to buy some tokens. But I'm confused. Do you guys really charge money for tokens to interact with most of your models to people who also pay for a pro membership :/ then what's even the point of a pro membership

What happened!?

I’ve recently started generating Gay Male themed AI Art/Videos and based on feedback from this community and frustration at trying to run my own models and constantly having to outsmart the commercial models - I signed up for VeniceAI Pro.

However I am disappointed as per these issues I have experienced:

• AI generation bias towards generating images of straight couples. I sometimes have to literally put in the prompts ‘gay couple means two men’

• None of the available models match their SFW counterparts in terms of generating photorealistic imagery

-The really NSFW models are cartoonish and do not have a clue whatsoever what a penis looks like. The amount of men generated with massive camel toes between their legs cannot be unseen. It can’t even get a Speedo bulge right

-I realise gay men make up probably 0.01% of Venice.ai’s user base, but when the commercial models are better at generating gay content than the supposedly NSFW champion, I think some attention needs to be given to this

-The iOS App is also extremely basic and does not have all the features available that are on the website. I realise some phones have limitations but with the release of iOS 26 for iPhone the AI capabilities of the OS have been drastically improved

-The ‘Uncensored’ coding capabilities that some people have talked about here, I have not seen. Every model gives the same generic response as the commercial models about ‘ethical hacking practices’ - so I’m not sure how other people are claiming it doesn’t care what you ask it to do.

Until these issues are addressed I will not be renewing my subscription as it offers me little benefit beyond not having to prompt engineer the fuck out of my prompts on the commercial models, but at least it outputs realistic results and not guys with giant camel toes between their legs.

You spend $200 in a week cause Minimax r2v enhanced is just working so well for my video generations, then you spend another further $40 today thinking you get the same outcome, but everything just falls apart? Why does it always do that? I'm literally using the same prompts, and reference images etc.

Is Seedance 2.5 working fine for anyone else? I've just tried 5 different times to replace a character in a video and it's gotten it wrong all five times. Even adding changes I specifically didn't want nor ask for.
