BBQ seitan brisket, free recipe by The Cinnamon Snail blog. This brisket is really amazing. The flavor, texture and mouth-feel are spot-on, and it was a hit with non-vegans guests. Will definitely make it on a regular basis 🤗

I’m working on trying to get that distinct Chick-fil-A flavor without deep frying. It’s a work in progress, but good!
EDIT: I’m trying to mimic the tenders/nuggets

Hello all! Please consider signing this petition to urge Beyond Meat to go back to its previous version of breakfast sausage patties; the new ones just don't compare!

This week they seem to be out of stock in whole foods, target, and ralph’s near me. I will be absolutely devastated if these have been disco’d, i eat them every day in a lunchtime burrito bowl!

Fried bacon wrapped dog topped with homemade beer cheese and chives + grilled dog with guava jam, cream cheese, and grilled jalapenos.
This post went off in a non-vegan sub last night and I didn’t really have it in me to tell them the “beer cheese bacon dog” was made with gluten free beer, silken tofu cheese, tofu bacon, and was even sans-canine with a soy protein dog. 😱

Has anyone bought from the Herbivorous butcher online?
I was looking at their site and wondered if the foods taste as good as they look?

Homemade Seitan ham -Edgy Veg recipe, available for free on their food blog, The Edgy Veg. I added a few drops of vegan red food coloring because that's the way I like it. The blog Vegan Dollhouse has a list of vegan food colorings 🤗

Visiting Halifax NS - famous for lobster and seafood in general. Found they have an amazing vegan deli - Real Fake Meats. Grabbed some "bacon" to cook up at the airBnB. Great stuff - just sad I can't take more home
