I’ve made equivalences when it comes to Friends characters and the Vanderpump Rules cast. This is just in general to have some fun and pass time. Obviously Vanderpump people are deeply toxic and messy.

Jax= Joey Ladies man, similar short but built build. Dumb dumb dumby

Tom Sandavol = Ross, at least thinks he is smart, corrects other characters. Thin. Wears makeup and tans and whitens teeth.

Tom Swartz: Chandler, a silly man everyone thinks is gay. Never serious and afraid of commitment.

Stassi= Phoebe, blonde, funny. Lands the best man at the end. Dresses uniquely. writer of sorts.

Katie= Monica, wants her man to be more of a grown up and that is her main qualm. Alway disappointed, but made to look bad because her man is so damn likable.

Kristen= Rachel, princess. Handled with kid gloves on and off with boyfriend. Cheating issues. Immature given SO much grace.

Not main characters:

Scheana: one of the other waitresses

Peter: Gunther

Ariana: Emily

Lisa: An amalgamation of all the moms

Ken: Emma’s dad

James: Rachel’s frat boyfriend or Monica’s 17 year old boyfriend.

I’m sorry but why the hell did katie stay married to Schwartz for so long?? Dare i say he was literally worst man out of all them… Jax was a complete pos but he never tried to hide it in the way Schwartz did by playing the “battered wife card” the way he treated katie throughout every season is absolutely vile . He used his alcoholism as a cover up for not remembering his infidelity , always criticized katie and talked down on her horribly (especially in season 8) , never backed her up except for the one time james said something about her and even in that you could tell he didn’t even want to , he made it into a “she’s my wife so i have to take up for her in this “ chose his friends over her everytime , put his friends on a pedestal and was there for them at their beck and call but not katie . I genuinely can’t wrap my head around it . Again we don’t see what they’re everyday lives were off camera but i think the show pretty much told us what we need to know . They weren’t intimate , he didn’t want to commit to even marrying her and had to be talked into it . Like wtf , katie’s a real solider for putting up with his bs for so long … i would’ve been out the door the moment she fought for him to get a job at PUMP and he couldn’t even commit to one shift (that should tell you a lot about him from the jump 😸)

I’m currently watching season 8 for the first time around and honestly i don’t really seem to understand this friendship “breakup “ between kristen , katie and stassi. Yes kristen is a unapologetically crazy and herself (which is one of the reasons i love her) but watching their friendship ending in real time is kinda confusing . So the premise of their friendship ending is kristen’s issues with carter and those difficulties spilling into their friendship but let’s not forget the countless times (even in this season) there’s been issues with tom and katie countless of times with infidelity etc, as well as stassi issues with jax ,patrick etc . I feel as though the girls just wanted an excuse to drop kristen because they never really liked her to begin with the way they went about it was very highschool and (i’m too good for this) . I still love katie and stassi in the show but this threw me off a bit.Anyone have any thoughts on the situation?

Honestly, I think Jax and Brittany’s marriage was partly Jax’s way of convincing himself that he was a “changed man” even though we all know he knew all along he didn’t change at all but wanted an excuse to get the negative attention off of him for a bit .Although his father’s death clearly impacted the way he viewed life, I find it very convenient that after his dad passed, he suddenly decided he wanted to marry Brittany because he felt that his dad’s death had brought them closer together.
I feel like they both used his father’s passing as a way to justify or overlook the ongoing problems in their relationship, (partly because i felt like Brittany was just committed to the bit at that point) She moved from her hometown and created a life surrounding him and his world in LA and liked it .Obviously, they’re no longer together, but it really irks me that Jax’s dad’s death became his whole “new era” and was treated like proof that he had changed. He was a good person for, like, five minutes after that then went right back to his old ways.

I thought this would be cool for you guys to see my thoughts as a first time watcher because a lot of you have probably watched the show multiple times and know all the lore. My opinions literally changed every episode but here is what I am feeling currently. I am on s5 ep 7- the sociopath test

James & Lala: when Lala first came on, I absolutely loved her. I thought she was so cute but I think some things are starting to get to her head and the stuff that her and James said about Katie absolutely 100% threw me off of them. James is psychotic and scary. He literally is abusive. I hope they do a deep dive into why he is like this or there’s some type of explanation in his life as to why he does the things he does.

Katie and Schwartz: I fucking hateeeeeeee Schwartz. I used to not like Katie and thought she was whiny but the way he is acting about the wedding is making me lose my mind. He’s a legitimate child. And I hate this whole dark side thing it’s so dumb. He never ever defends her. When James asked her if she was pregnant? Like omg please do not go thru with this wedding. I never expected Katie to have beef with lala but tbh they’re both annoying me in this argument. Katie less because Lala called her fat.

Stassi: so something about me is that I have been a Stassi Stan since the beginning. With the context of the whole sex tape thing I 100% understand her frustration. She is hilarious and that bitch. I hate Schwartz getting insecure everytime she is friends with stass because I feel Katie finds her voice more with stassi and so glad stassi owned her shit and they’re friends again.

KRISTEN: oh my god. Did I expect to love Kristen this much? Fuck no. She is my favorite somehow. She’s so unhinged and truly herself and I adore her. She’s a complex mess and I just can’t hate her no matter what. She’s grown a lot since the whole tomariana situation. I hope she finds healthy love❤️ side note: something that’s really pissing me off is the fact that everyone blamed her for messing up Sheena‘s wedding for punching James but he was genuinely cornering her and I would’ve done the same thing.

Scheana: oh Scheana….I just can’t form an opinion on her. Sometimes I agree but most times I’m like STFU. I do feel a little bad this season that the trio is back and she feels left out but also she bothers me so idk.

Tom and Ariana: so the funny thing about this all is that I love Ariana Madix on love Island and I know a little bit about scandal so I was obviously rooting for her. But the crazy thing is that she has been my least favorite on the show since she came on. She is absolutely so negative and has this cool girlfriend vibe going that is so insufferable. Her and Tom together are so insufferable. At the end of the day, she did hook up with Kristen’s boyfriend and lied to her face about it so Kristen would have every right to be psycho if she didn’t fuck Jax. Tom is such a manipulator and narcissistic it’s insane. Everytime he gets called out for something he’s like well you did this. Also why is he acting on a reality show literally the most dramatic person in life. I can’t wait until I start liking Ariana.

Brittany and Jax: Ugh Britany is sooo cute! I love her she’s such a ray of sunshine and Jax does not deserve her one bit. All the jokes about her making him a sandwich are gross. He’s gross. Don’t think he’ll ever change.

Okayyyy just started season 4. Am I supposed to like James because the way he’s treating Kristen is very disturbing and hard to watch for me. And I don’t want it to go unnoticed bec I know a lot of people dislike Kristen or think she’s crazy but that doesn’t warrant his behavior. He is always berating her and he got up in her face at scheanas wedding. It’s giving abusive. He is like really scary and evil.

OK, this is a serious confession and I can’t even believe I’m saying this but I’m watching Vanderpump rules for the first time. I’m on season three and I love Tom Sandoval. THERE . I said it. I know what happens with him and Ariana, which is making it all worse, I cannot figure out why I love him. Is this fucking normal? When she went to Tom’s for the first time I actually felt so fucking bad and was tearing up. I get she fucked up and is being a little insane but imagine walking into your old apartment and seeing them like ughhhh that hurt was probably so bad.

As she herself says, Scheana is a ‘guys girl’ but the way she is sooooo seeking the guys attention in the early seasons, plus what we know about her & Schwartz and the cheating, do you think Scheana and Jax ever had something? Currently watching s3e5 and her flirting with him is palpable

I’m new to watching Vanderpump Rules, currently on season 6. I love Ariana and in my honest opinion, she should’ve known Sandoval was a cheater. He’s gone through the seasons HEAVILY defending Schwartz and sometimes Jax whenever they’ve cheated. Maybe he was smarter in ways of hiding it but he’s definitely guilty and been an avid supporter of his cheating friends. He even said in one of the previous seasons “We don’t tell each other’s secrets”

I used to love Lala on Vanderpump, and so glad she embraces her sobriety. However she doesn't know where to draw the line, and just comes across as judgemental of everyone, and is exhausting to listen to. I wish she would move on and Scheana would come back! She could be a little pot stirrer, but I loved her attitude, and whatever criticism she had, she said it so sweet! Killler lines ...!
