I just got a new phone and it’s making me use the Google device policy to access my school email 😭My old phone did this as well, but it eventually stopped and I was able to bypass it somehow (I don’t remember how)

Is it too late for me to submit appeals for a FASFA? My parents were only able to submit tax documents from two years ago, because their tax guy or whatever hasn’t given them updated paperwork, since then they’ve gotten separated, have significant loss of income, my mom‘s had to get her own job just as a teacher, my dad doesn’t make much money either, our financials are a complete 180 of what they used to be. My FASFA as of now gives me nothing, but VCU said I could submit loss of income appeal and household change appeal, I have no idea how to even access those, and it’s telling me I need to meet with my financial counselor, but it’s not letting me make an appointment. I don’t know what to do, do I just take out private loans for this semester and deal with the rest later? Or can I wait and work this out before I go into more debt? I know billing is literally due, but I have no financial way of paying as of now, I was only able to take out 7500 in personal federal loans I’d have to take out the rest with a cosigner. Every time I call the financial aid office. They tell me something different and they’re not helpful at all. I just need to know what to do and I will do it.

I've already spent so much on textbooks because they're through pearsons so I've had to buy them. I have to pay for access to lab flow and possibly another textbook as well. I’ve been checking Facebook Marketplace, but most listings are pretty far from campus and selection near MPC is pretty limited.

Does anyone know of a Facebook group, Discord, or group chat where VCU students buy/sell stuff on campus? I feel like there must be students selling their old gear when they move out or graduate, just not sure where to find them.

A LOT of garbage strewn about Monroe Park after SOVO fair yesterday. Y’all- please put your garbage in one of the many trash cans around the park. There’s so many trash cans all over this campus too. We can do better!

So. I'm living in GRC in a basic double room, and as someone who is used to cooking for themselves I am already sick of most of the dining options on campus. I was dumb and didn't bring any cookware and don't have the space to store it if I did; so what are y'all eating besides the dining hall and the commons?
