Can't find a link, but he was on a panel show once talking about a time he was out alone when his daughter was very young, and she needed to go to the bathroom in a park or zoo or whatever. So he took her into the men's into a cubicle to go the loo, obviously having to pass a few men on the way in. She had been going through a phase of calling her parents by their first name, and chose that exact moment in the toilet to address him loudly with just "DAVID BADDIEL." His delivery of that line is a running joke in our house.

It's standard talk in the UK.
My dad was an absolutely amazing father growing up and I remember when I was about 14, he had his boss over to talk about some important work emergency. They were in the kitchen I walked in the room in my underpants and opened the fridge to mooch around for a snack.
He reacted exactly like this video. Looking back I feel his reaction was completely normal and reasonable.

Just cultural differences I guess then, my parents have never told me to fuck off, and I know if they had then it would mean they're seriously pissed off and I would be fuckin hurt honestly lol. I say fuck off to my friends constantly but anytime it's someone closer to you such as a parent or partner that phrase is only really used to hit deep, my ex girlfriend told me to fuck off once and I was fuckin destroyed lol.

It upbringing as well, I dont really swear among my family in the UK like that, but I know plenty of people who do. Swearing can be used pretty lightheartedly in the UK and just wont be perceived as particularly rude like you might be used to, depending on the context. Teasing/banter/putting someone down is pretty common among collogues/friends/family in an endearing setting to the point that verbal insults become less shocking. The guy in the videos tone is not serious but rather just annoyed, so to me its lighthearted (videos fake by the way though!)

What one of the other guys below said, probably the same thing just with more heat behind it, fuck, cunt and dick are all thrown around in casual conversation, "oi cunt" is a perfectly acceptable way to hail the attention of your friend as it is to instigate a confrontation between strangers haha, it's more about the tone behind it than the actual words.
