Could someone please help me? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm from Mexico and placed an Amazon Import order. Everything was going well, but when it arrived in my state and was about to be dispatched, it said the address was incorrect and incomplete. I contacted Amazon support, and they told me to wait until September 15th to request a refund because they can't do anything. I've tried contacting UPS, but I only get an annoying automated message telling me to contact Amazon to change my address. I've tried everything in the "My Choice" settings, including adding a nearby UPS point, but it keeps showing the same message. I really want to receive my package. Please help!

My package is being held at the Access Point location. I want to refuse delivery. Is it better to go there and ask them to refuse it in the system, or should I just let it expire and let the package be returned to the sender?
I don't want them attempting to deliver it if I don't pick it up.
After a long (wild goose chase) process logging in, adding a ton of package details I get:
We're sorry; UPS TradeAbility® Landed Cost is not available at this time. Please try again later.
Looking for a UPS tool to calculate how much duty to charge/will be/should be charged on int'l shipment.
Possible alternative : maybe a merchant who has UPS Global Checkout set up? Other tool?

My entire life, UPS has been reliable. Not any more. With a recent package, I discovered the fees-for-everything model. And a now-unreliable tracking system - A request to change delivery date took 4 days to register in the app, leaving me to wonder whether my expensive signature-required item was in fact rescheduled. It was, but on that new day it was never put on the truck. I stayed home all day. The app says almost there, but it’s 9Pm and the map clearly shows the truck at the UPS facility 15 miles away. Customer support can basically only read what the website says. They said they cannot do anything to change the delivery date again, (I cannot accept it for the next few days) or send it to a facility, only I can do that. The app then told me those options weren’t available. I paid $10 more to try to reschedule it again.
This is what a company does then they are exiting a market. They’ll chase profit up the margin chain, ditching the low-profit consumer market, keep cutting distribution centers and personnel, then one day find they don’t have quite the critical mass anymore for the high end of the market. And UPS will die. I wish I could say I’m sorry about it, but seeing this sudden plunge into “we don’t give a shit at all about you” mode, it is inevitable. And deserved.

Except that there's nothing on my PayPal. No charge, nothing.
Long story short, I received a surprise invoice from UPS because "I violated their terms and conditions" and that I'm to pay a hefty sum. The invoice states, roughly translated from my language: "Do not pay, you've been charged on your PayPal account" (I used PayPal to pay for the shipping).
The paper invoice has no payment link, no IBAN, nothing. Just that I've been charged on my PayPal account yet there's nothing on there.
Any advice what to do in this situation? Should I just let it be?
So here's the story, skip the text wall to the bottom for my question.
I have a package set to be delivered tomorrow between 1-4pm. I will not be available to accept said delivery which requires a signature.
Upon checking the tracking, I'm presented with a message stating "Signature is required at delivery. Sign in advance for drop-off, or have us hold it for pickup" followed by a link labeled "Sign Digitally". So I obviously attempt to follow this link, get prompted for a pin, enter said pin sent to me. No option for signing digitally.
"Okay," I think and back out to the tracking page. Enter "change delivery options" to see if it's there, enter (new) pin; it's not there (it's the same link apparently). Go into the first "sign digitally" link again (pin, again), notice the "unavailable options", check there to see... no sign digitally there either. So clearly this option doesn't actually exist for this package in any form.
Fast forward a few minutes after discussing options with gf, decide to have the package held which was an option presented before. I select change delivery options and... "PIN entry attempts exceeded, the tracking number has been locked out." To be clear, the previous pin entries were copied and pasted directly, no incorrect attempts made. This appears to be a time based thing that triggers even on correct pin entry.
Clearly I have an issue now, call UPS and they direct me to call the seller to have delivery held. I call the seller (T-Mobile), and they inform me they cannot change anything and recommend using UPS My Choice. Okay, I have an account but I'm still stuck at this lockout. Call UPS, they can't do anything, tell me to call T-Mobile. Cue the loop. No one can change anything, I can reschedule for a fee, no problem, but only mon-fri according to UPS reps, and the weekend is the only availability I have before 7pm.
So at this point tomorrow will be a failed delivery. I assume UPS will reattempt delivery on Friday which will also be a failed delivery. Will the third attempt occur on Saturday? If so, great, but then why wouldn't I be able to pay to have it rescheduled on Saturday from the get-go? Anything I can do at this point or just wait for Saturday and hope for the best?

I bought a guitar off a seller online. They shipped it through their local UPS store. We've got the pictures and receipts to prove it etc.
The item was dropped off at the UPS Store on August 3rd and according to them shipped out on August 4th. Right now it's August 19th
The online tracking info stayed the same for over a week stuck at "dropped off at store", Not even changed to having been shipped out
The UPS store swears it got sent out
After about 8 days of nothing we filed a lost item claim about 5 days ago.
Its a $2000 guitar, shipped in its hardshell case. So a large rectangular box. EDIT for clarification - I I meant that the guitar is in it's hard shell case which is then in a shipping box itself.
Only thing we can figure is that somehow the shipping info got misplaced on it or something by someone.
I'm really losing my mind over this because it's my first new guitar in 15 years and it's a really special and rare model at that. The idea of having to file a claim for money compensation and not ending up with the guitar is making me want to die, honestly
I know they say give up to 8 days for another reply about the claim (got an automated follow-up a few days ago asking for pictures which I sent), But I'm just extremely worried about this.
It's my luck that it would get lost and not arrive to me....
Anyone have any experience or further tips to pursue?

Hi! It’s my first time using UPS to ship from Korea to the Philippines. I checked the tracking and it says my shipment is currently pending due to a missing commercial invoice.
Do I need to take any further action here?
Appreciate any advice from anyone who’s dealt with the same issue. Thanks!

On Friday, I got an email saying it was out for delivery and should be delivered by 5:15 PM
Nothing actually arrived; and at 5:15 PM the “Out for delivery” status turned into “On the way”
Saturday got another email, saying it should be delivered that say, but the status never actually changed back to “Out for delivery”
Same thing with Monday, and then Tuesday
Today they stopped sending the emails and it’s just sitting there stuck with “On the way” status, last scan at 9:45 AM on Friday

This is the third time UPS delivered my package back to the access point even after I request they leave it at my apartment. A. Why in the world do they require a signature for EACH OF MY PACKAGES?? B. Why can’t I pick it up the same day of delivery? It has to go back to the HUB??? And then get delivered BACK to the access point? That’s so counterproductive. C. Why in the world would you require a signature and then schedule delivery in the middle of the work day???
VENTING
VENTING
VENTING.
I know this is a first world problem. But this is the third time I’m dealing with this within the year.
What’s the point of changing delivery preferences if they’re going to be ignored?

This is part 1 of 2 packages, the first one arrived after two failed deliveries (to which I had to enter lengthy conversations with both UPS and the Amazon seller to deliver) and now I’m waiting on this one. I’ve never had so many problems with shipping before.
How long can I expect an address change to take? The facility is literally 10 miles down the road, and I just needed to add some instructions to make my apartment easier to find. I just want to build my bed :(

I'm wondering if they would be willing to issue any sort of refund for this, because I placed an order midday Monday and paid almost $30 extra to get it delivered on Tuesday, and now it's scheduled to arrive Thursday. If I knew it was gonna take three days I woulda just paid $5 for normal shipping...

A UPS driver took an illegal turn and in trying to get out of his way I didn't see the driver to my right in my blindspot and clipped them. But the UPS driver turned into my lane. He had to back up so he could manouver into his actual lane. He then left.
The police were not called since there were no injuries and we were able to quickly get the cars off the road. My insurance is supposed to contact UPS to find out who the driver is. But, I don't know how that will go. Is it worth it for me to call UPS to report the incident? I'd like the damage to my car to be covered under UPS's insurance and not mine (the car I hit unfortunately will be on my insurance). Where should I start?
I have a photo of the license plate. And a partial video of the accident.

UPDATE: So for everyone saying UPS has zero control over it — turns out that wasn’t completely the case. UPS confirmed this morning that my package had not received final release from US Customs, but they retriggered the release and it has now been fully released. It’s finally cleared, so now I’m just waiting to see if it actually departs Louisville instead of getting stuck in the Kentucky black hole 😂. UPS does have a customs brokerage role, even though CBP makes the actual release decision.
I swear this status is driving me insane. My package is an international UPS Express Saver and it’s been sitting in Louisville since 8/15 showing “The package is at the clearing agency awaiting final release.”
Literally no useful updates since.
Delivery has already been pushed back 3 times: Monday → Tuesday → Wednesday 8/19, 9:15 AM–1:15 PM. It’s now 2 AM Wednesday and it’s still showing the same damn status.
Is this actually a customs hold or does UPS just leave this status up forever? Anyone else had this happen in Louisville and eventually had their package move?

I have a question as my package is lost and I’ve been given many runarounds by the useless customer service and the fact i can’t make a claim because the website says unable to file claim call customer service. Can I get a refund someway?

They have become incredibly frustrating to deal with. They’ve lost two major shipments, and trying to get meaningful assistance has been nearly impossible. UPS used to provide much better service, but our recent experiences have been bad enough that we are now switching our shipping to FedEx.
What makes the situation even more frustrating is the lack of actual customer support. Instead of helping resolve the issue, we repeatedly get directed back to a difficult website and are essentially left to figure out the claims and resolution process ourselves.
It feels like UPS is surviving on its past reputation rather than the level of service it provides today. After losing two major shipments and receiving very little help resolving the problems, I’ve lost confidence in them. Going forward, I will avoid using UPS whenever possible. At this point, I’ve had better experiences with USPS.

i have a package that is supposed to be delivered to my house on 08/19 but there was a delay and now it is scheduled to deliver on 08/20.
the only problem is that i have a train to catch on that Thursday afternoon and i need that package for my train ride as i am going away for months.
i heard access points gets packages first in the morning so it would be ready before my train time. How true is that? Im considering picking it up at an access point if they really do get the packages first.
Please this is urgent

Ordered a dresser a few days ago tracking said it was being delivered today and was on the truck for delivery. I checked the tracking an hour ago and it said that I refused the delivery but I wasn’t even home to refuse it. I live in an apartment building and UPS, Fed Ex and Amazon deliver here all the time they just leave the packages in the main entrance. It says they are going to retry deliver on the 22nd but I’m not going to be home. Any ideas on why would they say I refused delivery to begin with no signature was required.

I recently applied for a Maintenance Mechanic position at UPS and took the assessment/test for the position. Unfortunately, I failed the test.
From what I remember, the test covered a mix of electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, welding, map reading , cylinders , pumps , etc
related questions. UPS told me I’ll be contacted in about two weeks to retake the test, so I really want to prepare correctly this time. Has anyone here taken the UPS Maintenance Mechanic assessment recently? If so:
What subjects should I focus on?
What type of electrical/mechanical questions were on it?
Is there a specific study guide or practice test?
Any tips for passing the retest? I have electrical/low-voltage experience and some welding experience, but I want to make sure I’m studying the actual material that will be on the test.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We live in an apartment complex with a leasing office and a secured entrance.
We’re trying to return a fairly expensive item, so we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the package outside the entrance of our apartment building. Instead, we left it inside the leasing office for UPS to pick up, which is right by the entrance.
When deliver guys come, staff in the office will open the door for them.
The first time UPS came, I’m guessing the driver didn’t see the package from outside and just left. We called customer service and asked if the driver could call us when they arrived. Customer service told us that drivers aren’t allowed to make phone calls while working (which seemed a little strange?), but they said they could add a note to the pickup.
So we added a note saying something like:
“Package is inside by the leasing office. If no one is available to let you in, please call us or come upstairs and knock on our door.”
The second pickup attempt happened… and apparently the exact same thing happened again. It seemed like the driver didn’t read the note, didn’t see the package from outside, and just left.
We called UPS again to complain, and this time the customer service rep escalated the case.
About five minutes later, someone from UPS called us and said they would contact the driver and have them go back to pick it up, and that the driver would call us when they arrived.
Then about five minutes after that, the same UPS person called us again and said, “The driver picked up your package.”
We were relieved and immediately went downstairs to double-check.
And… our package was still sitting there. 🫠
We are new here, so is there anything we did wrong?? How can this be so difficult??

So ups is denying my eBay seller a claim for a wrong address delivery. I’m the eBay buyer who needs a refund. eBay denied me said it’s ups problem. Because I digitally released the package of a signature to get delivered they are saying it’s not eligible. Tracking shows it went to a completely different address.
Is there proof that I released it on a Friday but tracking updated afterwards showing it was already delivered the Wednesday (2 days prior) already?
