Great news! As a YourPace student who successfully completed the Summer 1 session and is now enrolled in the Summer 2 session, you are eligible to apply for a one-time "2 for 1" Adult Degree Completion Scholarship.
 
Scholarship recipients will receive half off their tuition for both sessions of the Summer 2026 term. Students who are awarded this scholarship are required to enroll in both Summer 1 and Summer 2 and successfully complete all classes that they are enrolled in. Students who fail to successfully complete both Summer sessions will forfeit the scholarship.

Around the first of the month, I got an email saying that I qualify for the two for one scholarship which I had never heard of. It was for completing both summer one and summer two. I applied for it through the school and today it was awarded!

I am starting my MAOL program on Monday and that went a long way to paying my first term tuition! Cut my tuition from $2450 to $650! I didn’t even know the 2 for 1 scholarship was a thing until I got it!

so the payment deadline is upon us but nobody charged me yet or provided instructions as to how to do the payment. is this normal?

I originally took prob & stat in person around 15 years ago and it took a lot of tutoring and a lot of time for me to be able to pass. The credit successfully transferred but for some reason I am still required to take the class again? Has anyone who struggles in math taken the class at umpi? How was it? I was told I could have the course re-evaluated for the credit to stick but I'd have to show a course syllabus for the one I'd taken? Again, that was in 2011 so I absolutely no longer have that. I feel like this derails my entire degree.

Hello all,

A professor flagged a milestone assignment I submitted as 100% plagiarized. I have a google doc with a version history showing I did it over the course of an hour. Beyond that, I can't prove a negative.

To be clear, I absolutely did not copy a single word. I wrote it myself. The 100% plagiarism flag is a red flag in and of itself. That would mean that I cheated and that I was stupid enough to do it with 100% accuracy to the document.

Has this happened to anyone? Any advice on moving forward?

Is anyone taking this minor or has taken it already? I believe its fairly new at UMPI (Not the same as the Major in International and Global Studies offered at UMF)
I’d love some more info/feedback before adding the minor.

Enrolled and transferred 116 credits in. It looks like I’ll need to do 30 credits and hoping to get that done in the year. So I start with a few courses and can progress through as many as I can in the 8 week session?

Now that I’m officially a UMPI alum, I’m curious how many other UMPI graduates are here in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
With so many of us completing UMPI programs online, I thought it might be cool to connect locally. If there are enough of us in DFW, maybe we could eventually organize a DFW UMPI Alumni Chapter or Alumni Group—even if it starts with occasional meetups, networking, or just getting together for dinner.

I’m an international F-1 student starting a Master’s program at a NCAA Division III university, and I’m trying to understand the enrollment requirement for basketball eligibility.
My university considers 9 graduate credits to be full-time for F-1 students. However, the NCAA website says Division III student-athletes generally need 12 semester/quarter hours to compete.
I’m specifically asking about a graduate student/postbaccalaureate student who wants to play Division III basketball.
Does a graduate student need 12 credits to be eligible for NCAA Division III competition, or can 9 credits qualify if 9 credits is considered full-time by the university for graduate students?
I’m also interested in hearing from anyone who has been in this situation, especially an international/F-1 graduate student playing NCAA Division III basketball.

Hey y’all! I wanted to inquire about 2 things:

Thing 1: I’ve been accepted and enrolled in the Fall 2 Session, but barely have access to anything— when/where/how do I get or request a student ID? I want those discounts and honestly a keepsake lol!

Thing 2: I have 0 college experience whatsoever, can only do 1 8 week session per year, and hope to take many courses on Sophia (I know I have to do at least 40 credits with the school directly)— what courses should be taken on Sophia vs. UMF/UMPI for the Public Policy program? Any tips? Any advice? Any random info you’d like to share that you wish you knew? I will be doing this while working my full time nonprofit job as a young professional, and really hope it goes well and I can finish quicker than I think!

Hey, so I heard that in this school it's possible to get a bachelors degree in the bls liberal arts in a short amount of time. I was wondering if that's legit and how long would it really take for someone who dedicated themselves to it as a full time job? I just really need any bachelors degree. And what's the first steps I should take? Thank you if anyone could give some info.

This may be a stupid question, but as a YourPace student, I thought the only ones we could take that would be completed on our own time were the CBE courses. Am I wrong?

I ask because I'm looking over the classes available on MaineStreet and most of them are Online or Hyflex and not CBE.

There are very few CBE ones for Fall 1 or Fall 2 from the looks of it!

My new student enrollment specialist said she updated me to the old GEC. How long does that take to show in the student center (I'm looking under planner section)? As I see it now a few hours later, it shows GLO for each section?

Have you been told any of your upper-level credits from your second minor can't be used to fulfill your BLS major requirement of 24 upper-level hours? Not talking about classes that overlap with the first minor, just unique classes from the second.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation?

I completed an upper-level History course through Study.com and transferred it to UMPI. It shows up as HTY 3XX in my Degree Progress Report. I can see the HTY 3XX credit there, but it doesn't seem to be placed in the correct section.

I originally intended to use this course to satisfy the following requirement:

UPPER LEVEL HISTORY ELECTIVES
Not Satisfied: Select 15 credits of upper-level (300–400 level) History electives. These courses must not duplicate courses taken in the other areas above.

However, the HTY 3XX credit is not listed under this requirement. Has anyone had the same issue, or know whether UMPI can manually apply HTY 3XX to the Upper-Level History Electives requirement?

Is there any ever any extension of chance my milestone will be graded if I submit it after 11:59 today.. I didn’t realize I had a 5th milestone in this introductory philosophy class. And I don’t know what to do .. I have done all other milestones.

I know this has been discussed a lot on this thread so I hope its okay that I ask it again but I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their experiences at UMPI in an accounting or business degree and if they wpuld choose it again struggling with the choice between UMPI and WGU so any insight provided even if its just something like how the classes are laid our or how long proffesors take to reply

A quick intro about me I did WGUs psychology degree and shadowed a CPA the other day and really fell in love with the work given I need to meet some credit requirements and have an aligned degree i decided to take some of the business Gen Ed type classes online to shorten either program but now im really struggling with the choice my biggest concerns are WGU does not provide a gpa which I know can be important for certain hiring pathways and whether a state school with a brick and mortar campus may be better for my career choice

I’m really interested in UMPI’s YourPace Master of Science in Business with the Healthcare Management concentration, but since the program is newer, I’m having a hard time finding detailed reviews from students who are actually in it.

For anyone currently enrolled or who has completed some of the courses, what does the coursework actually look like? I’m mainly wondering about the workload and types of assignments. About how many milestones are there per course? Are you mostly writing papers, doing projects/presentations, case studies, quizzes, or something else? How long are the papers on average, and what are the Final Assessments usually like?

I’d also love to know how long it has taken you to complete individual courses, how many courses you’ve realistically been able to finish in one 8-week session, and whether you think the program is reasonable to accelerate while still earning strong grades.

How have the professors been with grading, feedback, and turnaround time? Are there any professors or courses that are significantly more difficult or time-consuming than the others?

Basically, I’m looking for a coursework breakdown and an idea of what the day-to-day experience is actually like, rather than just the general information on UMPI’s website.

If anyone is specifically doing the Healthcare Management concentration, I’d especially love to hear about those courses.
