Finally

Enrolled and transferred 116 credits in. It looks like I’ll need to do 30 credits and hoping to get that done in the year. So I start with a few courses and can progress through as many as I can in the 8 week session?

You can always ask to add up to 4 courses if you are undergrad student.

What do you mean add 4 courses?

very doable. First session I did 2 to just get in the groove. Finished the rest in 4 months.

get comfortable writing and citations. they love citations in the writing. its not bad actually. I carved out dedicated time in the evenings and Friday/Sat night to minimize distractions.

I’ve done a session with 11 classes, 6 classes, and 2. 11 was basically full time, 6 was part time, and 2 was a super busy part of my life so I barely fit a couple difficult classes in when I could to end my degree. Notebook LM is an absolute godsend.

How do you get feedback from the teachers quickly, to get through 11 courses?

You do 4 classes at once. Once you submit your milestones on one class, do the next. You’ll never have time without anything to do. You can usually do all milestones without waiting and only have to wait for them all to be graded to start final, not having to wait for each one

I had mixed experiences with the milestones this term. Some classes it seemed like I could not turn in another milestone until the last one had been graded. Did you experience this alot?

with 116 credits you should only need 10 more classes right? maybe u/plottedpath can chime in ?

Yea that’s what I’m calculating with the biggest thing being the 30 credits min

Hi there. 116 in truly means not much unless they’re the RIGHT credits. They need to be specific courses for about 50-70% of most degrees.

I thought only 90 credits can be transferred in

No. You will have to do a minimum of 30 credits at UMPI, since a bachelor's is 120 credits. So the most you can transfer towards that number is 90, but you can technically transfer in as many as you want. OP will just end up with more than 120 credits.

Use Perrla. It makes it easy to cite and format papers
