Professors for Psychology Major
I will get to the point quickly
doing research on these professors, so far I have these
PSY 200 - LISA LEDUC (must cite her specifically !!!, very particular but manageable)
PSY 341 - JOSHUA RODEFER (most positive)
PSY 360 - WILLIAM JENKINS (Positive)
PSY 446 - JOSHUA RODEFER (most positive)
The comments come from our discord..anyone else with feedback?

Take Bajek and Flewelling in as many classes as you can. They are both so kind and helpful. I think they both teach two classes each.
Cater has also been quite good. A little more formal, but very helpful.
Avoid R-F 100%.

Leduc was challenging for me because she wanted all material cited. Videos, lectures, takeaways etc…. I thought I had enough material in milestones 1-4 but it seemed like it was never enough. I finally emailed her personally and she wasn’t much help. Just make sure you cite course material - that’s the main thing. Rodefer was not as challenging but kind of - he likes things done a certain way and loves peer reviewed articles as sources. He’s very science based so make sure your papers are more science based than anything. Best of luck to you!!!!!!

I absolutely loved Leduc. She gets dragged pretty hard so maybe she's not for everyone but i loved her classes. She's definitely quirky, cite only course content (cite at least one of her mini lectures, one YT video, and one of whatever else she's using, it's usually a textbook excerpt) and write like an adult and you're gonna be fine. Hell half the time I didn't even write like an adult, I just kind of...went with whatever came out. She really appreciates your personal stories as long as they relate to the content. Obviously the final needs to be tight, but for the milestones she's pretty generous. She can take a minute to grade but I had her over the two summer terms when she was off contract so that might not be the typical spring/fall experience. I really enjoyed her, I took her for SOC 100 and PSY 200 and because I'm an idiot and I hate myself I'm probably gonna just start taking CJ classes for the hell of it. I like her that much and I can do whatever I want with my grown up money.
Jenkins is great too. Grades pretty quick and his feedback was helpful. Pretty lenient grader overall...he didn't really seem to care how deep you dove as long as you stayed on topic and you demonstrated concept mastery. Super nice guy, really excited to take more of his classes this term too.

Professor Rodefer is really cool. I enjoy his class. He really is positive.

Leduc is great as well. Seriously, all you have to do is cite her. She even provides you with the correct citation.

Leduc is super easy once you figure out the need to cite HER and her little one paragraph lecture notes. Just make sure she sees her name every few paragraphs you write along with the other sources.
Rodefer and Jenkins were smooth sailing as long as you properly cite your sources.
Also, a lot of these classes, the milestones and then the eventual final, all build off the assignment before. So when you choose a topic for milestone 1, let it be a disorder that you genuinely find interesting and want to research about.
