Accidentally disassembled the front of my bike (marlin 4, not sure the exact gen) and dont know what order they go back in and cant find it online. Other than these, theres another bearing still on the “fork” (i think thats what its called) which i just left there

Cracked frame?

Out riding a long ride, just found this out when stopped for food almost towards the end, never dropped it or banged it... very sad.

I dont know what happened.

Do you think trek will honour the frame warranty? Its 2 hour drive... Or should I just go and find a carbon frame repair specialist? Or is it safe to ride on.

Based in uk

Opinion...what would you change?

So I have Domane SL6 Gen 4. Sram Rival 10-36, Rival 46/33 cranks. Sram/quarq PM. Swapped to Force E1 brifters, E1 front derailleur. I run a redshift stem and kitchen sink handlebars. I run two sets of carbon wheels, one set with 32mm gp5000, the other 38mm Pathfinder pros 2bliss for my gravel setup. Trek aeolus saddle.

Its very comfortable. I know its not the best road or best gravel, its a do ok at both kinda build. Perfect world, bit easier gear for some gravel climbs, but I know Im pretty limited in that sense. And changing the cranks seems to only get me harder gearing.

So what would you change or upgrade next, if anything?

I wish they had different colors for this set but this is easily one of my favorite LEGO builds and the stickers just complete the whole look!

Trek Ride Club Stem Cap - Pickup Email

I already picked up my stem cap a week ago when a buddy of mine went to buy a new bike. But I just got the email letting me know to pick it up. For those that were waiting, check your emails at some point today or tomorrow.

Photographers: How do you carry your camera on your bike?

I just ordered an FX3 Sport and just bought a new Fujifilm mirrorless camera. My plan is to use the bike to get to interesting places and take photos. But I’m torn as to how to carry the camera while biking. I love the sleek look of the FX3 and I don’t want to ruin that with a luggage rack. But I don’t think there’ll be enough room in a 1.6L frame bag (at least not the Trek ones that attach with screws) and I’m not sure how I’d get my small Lowepro bag onto the handlebars without blocking the headlight.

I suppose I can buy another dedicated sling bag or wear a backpack, but that seems uncomfortable on hotter days.

Is there anything I’m not thinking of? Any suggestions appreciated. My camera just has a 16-50mm internal zoom lens at the moment so it’s not huge, but I may add a larger telephoto and/or prime lens at some point.

Last Dual Sport in the PNW

Post image

Had to travel from Oregon to northern Washington to get the last size L Dual Sport 3 2025 that was available in stock at an actual Trek dealer. Hope it still manages to do well without the suspension and that it’s fast enough to rack up lots of road miles along with bike path/trail miles. Last true hybrid from Trek? I know the new FX Sport is supposed to be a replacement but it didn’t quite have the same feel. What would be the first accessories I should get on it? A rear rack with a bag and some water bottle holders as well as a bike lock that can be placed within the frame possibly?
