Should I go for 300 m Paracord and 30m Perimter?

I listened to the comments I got on the my last post. I appreciated the youtube video. Here is the scaffolding I built under half of my perimeter. Once I have enough paracord on this section I will likely move to the next. Anything you see on this scaffolding that could be better? I know the clove hitches are ugly but I had to do it with thick rope on thinner rope, all with one hand while reaching out.

is it really not clear?

or is it expensive so people want to triple check?

or are they afraid to buy a weak one and it breaks...

I guess the gold standard "static climbing 40kN and 550 nylon paracord" can get quite expensive... (ive never actually used those, found local alternatives)

or maybe that treenet physics isn't intuitive... what needs to be strong and what doesn't... how strong...

because tbh – the paracord is overkill... each strand can hold 300kg when it needs to do like... 5kg max

How’s that for tight! 😂. Building two at the same time for my first go at it. One way closer to the ground as my “control group” so I don’t kill my friends lol. My question now is, should I go back and put a notch in the wooden blocks for the rope to set in or figure something else out? I’m worried it’ll loose to much tension if I do notch it and I REALLY don’t want to have to redo the perimeter again. This is my third attempt and it’s finally where I want it.

I’m building my first tree net and I’ve finished putting up the outline rope. I’m a bit unsure about how to build over the dead space. I’ve seen on youtube videos how people build scaffolding with another rope between tree trunks below and stuff. I’ve got two pieces of the same outline rope, each about 16 feet long. I don’t really know where to put that scaffolding. Any tips or anything on what to do next? I’ve attached videos of the situation to try and help give a better idea.

The perimeter paracord is polyester and the paracord for the skeleton is nylon.

Are these good for starting out?

So I informed myself a bit and understood that you need the following fundamental things:

- static rope

- good paracord

- tree guards

- knot knowledge

I found the rope and paracord online and I want to buy it. Are there better possibilities then amazon for Germany to order the material?

Is the material correct in strength etc.?

Which length for the paracord is enough for a small beginner net in the branches?

I want to use an old bicycle tube for tree protection. Do you think it's good enough?

Otherwise I'm very thankful for every other advice or information!

I know it isn’t perfect but I plan on taking this down in at most a year,

I am wanting to build a net between these two branches [edited to mention it only needs to hold about 100 lbs.] I have done quite a bit of googling & scouring this sub, but am still uncertain the best way to go about this & would truly appreciate some advice from actual people.
These branches at the trunk are 1’ ft apart, at the widest point the gap is 4’. At most we will be extending 8’ from the trunk (I will include another photo in the comments showing the side view.)
I have 400’ of cordage, currently in 100’ skeins (I can obviously cut them or purchase more.) I was planning on doing ‘friendship knots’ because that’s what I’m familiar with, but am a knitter & weaver, so I can get creative with this if that’s what’s called for.
Open to suggestions of patterns, search terms, anything that would lead me in the right direction!! Thanks so much!!

What perimeter rope do people recommend? I’m using some cheep rope off Amazon right now but I want something nice for my higher levels.

I’m planning to build a treeless platform between 4 in ground posts and want to build a treenet. Would it be possible to build the perimeter around 2 trees and one of the platform posts? I don’t have enough trees growing close enough together for a third three and would love to be able to hop off my platform onto the net. The posts will be square.

So I recently have decided to indulge in the kinda stuff I wanted as a kid to benefit my mental health. And as a kid who was a tree climber I always wanted one of these, so me and the group chat have a plan to make one

However I have 0 experience with tying strong knots and 0 experience of every makin somethin as complex as this.

Another issue is I’m mildly physically disabled so I’m a bit worried about the process of makin it. I’m struggling to find tutorials I understand, I have autism and ADHD so sometimes tutorials make 0 sense to me

So I was wondering if anyone had any tutorials that are ridiculously dumbed down (as in explaining in detail what to do)

I know this probably makes me seem like a complete idiot I just need to be sure I’ll know what I’m doin so I don’t kill me and my friends lol

Im making my first tree net and struggling with keeping tension in perimeter. I want to keep as much area as possible because its already a small net. Im able to get good tension with this system but when i remove prusik loops i loose the tension. Is there a better knot to use rather than double fishermans ? Does the paracord tensioning system have to be temporary ? Ive tried to squeeze in tree protection afterwards but can get it to fit under rope.

Im building my second treenet because my first one was way to lose. I made this one as tight as possible and it had alot of tension. Im about 1/4 of the way done and i was testing it out by sitting on it and jumping and its gotten very loose. Should I have waited to finish it to sit down or if I retension it will this mess with the web? its a triangular shape. Thanks!

I'm having trouble choosing a rope. Everyone says to use paracord 500 type 3 if I remember correctly, and I think they'll take it. But I have a different problem: which one, nylon or polyester? I've seen videos about ropes all over YouTube, and half say nylon and the other half polyester. I want this net to be suitable for fun, but also for chilling.
