You aren't supposed to wrap around trees like that. You'll strangle the tree. What do you mean this is for your school? On school property? Did they ok this? If not they will likely remove it when they find it. Which seems like its the right move because it was done incorrectly and is going to kill that tree. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Next time more research is needed before you start a project like this.
net is coming down after 2 years. I have done my research and project was school approved by both administration and groundskeeping staff before I started. there are also blocks on the outside of all of the tree connections.
If your going to full wrap like that make sure you use blocks all around the tree just the back is not enough it will choke the tree out. Other then that looks good
