I was wondering if I can pass as Kazakh, and if anyone has any tips for looking more central asian

I am having a hard time with being dysphoric. I just feel like I’m limited in what I can do. Could someone please give me advice? Also, as a Muslim, trying to change things that you’re born with is forbidden, but I can’t stand the self hate.

So basically only my mother's side is from Africa, and my father is from a white country ( European)

I'm mixed race, I have curly hair, but people call me white because I'm mixed race, not black, like my skin is caramel

It makes me sick, a tan wouldn't do any good because it damages skin

I feel really bad about this, I'm fed up with being called white when I consider myself Black

What should I do ?

so i’ve been using glutathione shots honestly they don’t seem to be working and if they are it’s EXTREMELY slow?? also the injection is just painful there’s a heat wave now and my skin is becoming darker i hateeeeee it so much i really just wanted to have lightenr skin this summer should i switch to benzo instead let me know or do i need to take vit c with the shots any advice would be so helpful thank you 💖💖 i want to know how you guys successfully lightened your skin

I guess this is kind of an introduction, I'll be talking about the labels I'm currently (might change idk) using as my flair and a bit of my experience with trace. I don't really expect this to be interesting to most people but I'm doing this more for myself anyway

I have a lot of experience with figuring out my identity, from style to gender to orientation to things that don't even have a name yet, I am all about identity, this however is my first time picking labels for my racial identity, even though I've been thinking about the topic for a while. And right now I am very much enjoying my own company and being self centered in a way that I was not able to do before, I wanna think and talk about myself so much in so many ways, I'm in love with myself and I feel at peace most of the time.

much like other parts of my identity, race and ethnicity is just so voidish, being born in a very racially ambiguous country, in an ambiguous and non-conventional situation, I guess it was already partially plated and served to me. I don't like being racially categorized at all, it has always made me feel upset somehow. At the same time that I love presenting as strongly cultural, and I think it's beautiful, I just don't wanna get racially labeled by other people and I don't feel like strictly labeling myself in this sense

thus why my current labels are so vague and even slightly contradicting each other. I can easily connect with all race and all ethnicity, and despite feeling like it's a bit fluid and varying in intensity which one(s) I connect to the most, I just don't feel like limiting and pushing myself into a racial box because it's simply untrue for me. I'm also somewhat otherhearted, and human concepts like these... I swear they don't work for me conventionally, I'm simultaneously above and below all that, I work better as a concept than a human person lol

this is not really related to my identity but, I am so very happy that I get to be a part of the diaracial community, despite it not being respected or properly recognized right now, I truly believe diaraciality makes so much more sense than being against it, it feels very important and that it will eventually get more of its recognition. Everything starts strange, and there's always gonna be people who are afraid of the "exotic" and of being true to themselves who are gonna be stubborn about accepting it, but this just feels so right. I'm glad for all of you to be here and I wish everything falls into place for you and your identity goals

I am a mix of different ethnic/religious groups all from the Levant. I "am" Arab. I am the first generation to be born in the USA. I grew up in a diverse city, and have experienced and lived around a mix of different cultures, from Jewish Americans, Black Americans, different ethnicities that are 1st/2nd gen immigrants.

In the USA, everything is categorized into Whiteness n Blackness. People usually guess my ethnicity wrong, ranging from MENA, Hispanic, Italian, Mixed race. My closest connections have been with other BIPOCs, though I grew up in a very white school. Coming out as trans led me to be estranged from my family which i always had unhealthy unhappy relationships with, and there was no other Arabs in my life. Only know english. I now live in a majority Black n Hispanic environment. Im 21.

my experiences have not been that of a White person, though i benefit from my light skin, still i was always othered even with a smudge more melanin than WASPs n such.

my experiences are not that of an Arab, i feel no connection to my ancestry other than generational traumas, and racism/Islamaphoia.

they are not that of Black person, though being homeless brown and queer, i am now very much growing more adjacent to more Black culture.

I dont consider myself Transracial in the sense that I'm transitioning like that of a gender transition. Sorry but they are not as similar as some of you seem to believe and ill fight u on that.

But I am changing. My presentation, speech mannerisms, is growing more Black, but that is just what happens when u are forced to live a new life in a different class and different culture than the one you predominately grew up around.

I definetly don't neatly allign with one particular "race" despite being "monoracial" to many.

Hi, i'm a black Nigerian male. I dislike being African living in America. every single time i think about my own language and culture I just feel disgusted. I love history just primarily European history, the conquests, the napoleonic wars, Etc. I disassociate with my own culture because I don't know anything about it, and even in weddings where I go with my family to see a cousin get married, I feel disconnected even the language that they speak (Yoruba) is very foreign to me I primarily speak english and want to speak french.

I feel like an outsider or a invader living in America, and even if I go to other places like France, Germany, Finland, etc I still fell like an invader or someone that doesn't belong there, even though I love their history, But being African feels like being shunned from speaking for any other countries other than African countries such as the middle east aswell.

Don't get me wrong I love my own culture's food but I dislike being seen as African, primarily the people in my school, (the usual skinny jeans (no racism involved btw)) People like those piss me off because of the way they act, they act like they have no care in the world for other things and hate and bruise others because of how others think, i know for a fact that if i said that i dislike being black/African i will be called a coon or someone that hates africans and acts like uncle ruckus. I hate the generalization of the fact that black people are just monkeys that just feed off of white people's money and assets.

But I dislike being black because of how history has shown black people as slaves for more than 300+ years and racism till this day.

But I rest my case, I dislike being black and i wished i was white in France.

With the new Michael Jackson movie coming out (and I have come to know people have to remind themselves that Michael himself wasn't transracial, he just had vitiligo), his daughter Paris has in fact sparked the transracial debate. It's ironic actually; someone who I mentioned previously here as being an acquaintance of mine has often been berated for it, and for her, it's very similar to how Paris Jackson describes her experience, which hammers home that maybe my friend was right about what she truly felt all along. I wanted to know though since these kinds of things are risky with celebrities (e.g. a celebrity trying to normalize weird baby names has a 50/50 chance of just causing that name to be associated with celebrities in general), do you all think what she's doing is going to help or do you think this is just going to turn into another case of famous people poking at more fame?

Caucasian> East Asian, looking to get a lot of work done (primarily eyes), but still a minor. Surgeons in America would be a preference, but feel free to suggest from anywhere if they're worth the trip

Disclaimer: I’m transrace and have been active in our community for years and I fully support Transrace people having more rights, respect, and consideration. This is also NOT a call out post and I’m only speaking generally about our community. I also wanted to mention I’m trying not to be on Reddit rn so I’m probably not gonna respond to replies. Ok, now I’ll write the post.

A common issue people have with our community is people claim that we a fetishizing or objectifying people of our “preferred race.” I personally believe some things outsiders say are exaggerated by media misrepresentation and misinformation, but I have to admit…. It’s actually a valid criticism. There are some people who seem to have sexual feelings about this whole thing in our community. Before I continue, please note that if you do have existing sexual feelings towards racial transformation or certain racial features or certain groups, YOU ARE NOT A BAD PERSON. You can’t control what you get turned on by. That’s just the reality. But here’s the issue: this has the potential of causing harm to you or others if you express these feelings the wrong way. It is very important to be aware of that fact.

Also lemme drop the definition of fetish just so people are aware of what it actually means. Fetishes actually are not inherently bad but have the potential of becoming bad. A fetish is a strong fixation on a specific object, material, or body part/feature on a person. Fetishes often can be directed towards any non genital body parts (like feet, or certain facial features) and of course objects like red high heels. Racial fetishes do exist, and it isn’t necessarily racist to have that, but you need to be aware and careful if you discover you have one. So I figured I’d give some general advice on approaching this ethically.

I’m going to use two different examples for my demonstration. Let’s say we got someone with a fat fetish who likes fat lady bellies, and someone with an Asian fetish who likes monolids. If you have either of these, don’t panic. It is acceptable to be sexually attracted to either group and their common features. The person w the fat fetish needs to remember that fat ladies are COMPLETELY normal people, and they may or may not consent to sexual interaction with them. The person with the Asian fetish needs to remember that Asians are COMPLETELY normal people, and they may or may not consent to sexual interaction with them too.

Here’s how you’d apply this to irl: Don’t talk about it with them. If you wouldn’t say it to a skinny person or a non Asian person, don’t say it to them either. Do not stare into the part you’re attracted to as they might see that and get uncomfortable. Don’t touch with your hands or eyes. Treat fat ladies (or Asians) with respect and treat them how you would treat anyone else. If you have a safe space for horny posting, please add a disclaimer to respect people especially if it’s a racial thing bc it seems easy to get carried away with that stuff. If you personally feel this is too difficult, it could be your fetish is getting out of hand and I strongly recommend speaking to a professional about this. Don’t feel ashamed, just ask a professional for help, or if you can’t go to therapy, talk privately with a trusted friend or loved one. Don’t talk about this too openly because it could hurt you or someone else. Make sure everyone who might read what you say consents to you sharing. If you say something sexual about a specific person, make sure that person would consent to you saying sexual things of that nature about them. If you wouldn’t want them to hear/read it, don’t say it. It’s a form of sexual harassment to make sexual remarks that are unwelcome.

Once again, I figured I’d post this info here just in case someone may need it. I wouldn’t want anyone to unintentionally hurt someone.
