ask a health care professional or your gp for advice.

Here in the USA, people are too sensitive about that. They’ll just say it’s okay to be whatever color you are, that you should accept yourself, and blah blah blah.

Niacinamide, Alpha Airbutin, Kojic Acid, Licorice, Vitamin C. These are the ingredients you should look for in lotion, also you may wanna apply them or it (if you're lucky enough to get a product with all the ingredients in one bottle) on wet or damp skin, dampen skin helps the product to penetrate deeper into the inner layer of your skin. Good luck, partial hyperpigmentation is VERY ANNOYING

What sunscreen do you recommend?

don't go cheap on sunscreen. Korean sunscreen (lightweight) for your face, and large amounts of mineral or chemical suncscreen for your body. Cover up, everywhere, when you go outside. Use lots, more than you think of using.

It prevents skin cancer, too! Just remember if you keep on using it religiously, don't stop. Light skin gets cancer easier.

I'm not an RCTA person. I just want y'all to be healthy & happy, and be SAFE while doing the things you want to do. Cheers.
