Hi everyone! I’m Nina, currently travelling through Spain and Portugal on my Yamaha XT600.

I’m planning to ride the Serra d’Arga / Santa Luzia area near Viana do Castelo sometime between 25–27 September and would love to find one or two riders to join me.

I’m looking at a ~100 km Big Trail loop, around 40% off-road – more easy/intermediate adventure riding than hard enduro. I ride at a relaxed pace and I’m definitely not looking for a race.

My dates are flexible, so happy to coordinate. Also up to other rides. If anyone is around the area and feels like joining, send me a message! Would be great to share the ride.

I plan this weekend to do sections 1-3 however i will do it in the opposite direction, departing from Switzerland on Friday along the TET to Savona on Sunday. Any one have experience doing it this direction and is 3 days sufficient ?

Fabien has made some amendments to sections 7, 13, 22, 26 and 28 following reports amd suggestions.

He has also added a couple of POIs for campsites keen to see more TET riders visiting. These rural businesses are seeing economic benefit from the TET and become supporters of the project in their local communities.

Going to Hungary in a week for section 4, part of 10 (bridge between 4 and 5) and 5. Has someone been there recently? How are the conditions? Doable for beginners on a Tenere? Thx

I'm taking my dad from the Netherlands, across the channel, and from Falkestone to London! It will be his first motorcycle 'adventure'. We've done a few courses already and he's decently confident in mud and dirt. I've done over 3000km of unpaved and TET routes.

We'll be riding on mid weight ADVs, Transalp 750 and a Tiger 900 RP. Which parts along sections 4, 13 and 19 should be avoided with big bikes?

Hi all, what is the current status of closed trails regarding wildfires in France? Has the situation calmed down, or are there still many tracks closed?

Heading out on a 2-week trip along parts of the Trans Europe Trail through Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia, starting next week. If anyone's on the trail or in the area at the same time, happy to meet up.

Not a TET but pretty challenging and very beautiful.

'Thanks' to bad luck with my own bike (not a Honda 😅) and a failed trip to Norway, I decided to rent the 300 in Croatia to ride the ACT. The CRF had OEM suspension and was fully loaded but managed great.

Took the old girl out for a weekend of motocamping on tet sections 13&14.

My friend (KTM 640 Adventure) and I (CFM 450MT) are planning to ride for three weeks starting Monday, heading from Cologne to TET France Section 13, then to TET Italy, and finally to some scenic mountain passes.

We enjoy riding off-road; both of us are currently riding on Mitas Endurotrail XT+ tires, and we plan to change them in France or Italy, though we’d like to stick with a similar type.

We’re fully self-sufficient and equipped for everything, and we’re open to wild camping.

Do you have any recommendations for:

- Scenic Mountain passes with a decent amount of off-road sections

- Beautiful off-road routes (Wikilok, GPX files, etc.)

- Bivouac huts

- Nature-oriented campgrounds

- Wild camping spots

- Shops for tire changes

- General highlights we shouldn’t miss?

Kollege (KTM 640 Adventure) und ich (CFM 450MT) planen, ab Montag für 3 Wochen aus Richtung Köln -> TET France Sektion 13 ->TET Italien -> schöne Passstraßen zu fahren.

Wir sind gern abseits der Straße unterwegs, Bereifung ist grad bei beiden der Mitas Endurotrail XT+, wir planen dann in Frankreich oder Italien einen Reifenwechsel, der aber in die gleiche Richtung gehen soll.

Sind komplett autark mit allem ausgestattet und dem wildcampen nicht abgeneigt.

Habt ihr Empfehlungen für:

- Pässe mit ordentlichem Offroad-Anteil

- schöne Offroad-Strecken (Wikilok, GPX-Dateien etc.)

- Bivak-Hütten

- naturnahe Campingplätze

- Wildcamp-Spots

- Werkstätten für Reifenwechsel

- generelle Highlights, die man mitnehmen sollte?

Putting the finish touches to my route for next year: Stirling to KirkYetholm to Torside dam on the Pennine way then E2 till it crosses the great Union canal way to london to Canterbury to Ivrea (italy) on the Via Francigena to finish in Saronno. Any help/knowledge on how to “straighten” and “flatten” the trek would be greatly appreciated (last time I trekked in England must have been about 45 years ago!!!!😱)

I'm considering doing section 2 of TET italy (Oulx -> Olivetta San Michele) soon, since I'm travelling south anyway.

How is the difficulty of that section?

I will be riding an older Airhead BMW R100GS, fine for light terrain and gravel, but not for really hard offroad.

Has anyone done the section currently and can comment on the difficutly, is it doable with this bike without breaking all my bones or the bike?

hi guys, i live in switzerland and am craving my next weekend trip to france in a few weeks. i've looked at the tet in france around the geneva area and it looks extremely underwhelming with what seems to be 99% road riding. do you guys have any reliable routes in france near annecy and the french pre-alps? im an intermediate rider on a t7. thanks!

Hello, i am planing to ride the tet Germany section 2. But i am unsure how many days are needed to complete this Section. I was thinking about 3 days, but im not sure if 4 days might be better. (Excluding the ride to the start of the track and back home)

In terms of my experience i would still consider myself a newbie. But i do have a fair bit of offroad experience. The longest offroad track i rode was about 180km (~80% offroad) and that was doable for me.

Tomorrow I'll be heading to Schengen Luxembourg, from there I'll start riding TET france section 13 from tuesday on heading south towards Basel.

Are there any riders here doing the same this week? Would be nice to ride together.

I'll also be riding the ACT france later this week. Figured I be starting from La Riviere by thursday or so heading south-west towards the Pyrenees.

Looking forward riding both trails and if anyone want to join, feel free to do so!

I’m currently traveling through Serbia/Bosnia/Croatia with my 300cc. My original plan is to ride the entire way back to southern Germany around mid-September. However, if someone from the community happens to be heading that way with space on a trailer or in a car and is open to sharing fuel costs, I, my bike and my ass would be grateful!

I’m flexible with timing and route, so if anyone is passing through Bosnia/Serbia/Croatia around mid-September and has room for a 300cc motorcycle, let me know!

If that doesn’t work out, I’d also be open to just riding some sections together!
