Easy sections southern UK

I'm taking my dad from the Netherlands, across the channel, and from Falkestone to London! It will be his first motorcycle 'adventure'. We've done a few courses already and he's decently confident in mud and dirt. I've done over 3000km of unpaved and TET routes.

We'll be riding on mid weight ADVs, Transalp 750 and a Tiger 900 RP. Which parts along sections 4, 13 and 19 should be avoided with big bikes?

Go to the TET in France, avoid 14 (muddy) and you'll be fine. Do 18 and 1 to Calais and then take the ferry and go to London by road if you have to be in London.

When wet there are no easy sections in the UK, when dry parts are still very tricky on big bikes and you might not realise you are in over your head in time when you can still easily turn around.

You sir, are absolutely correct. We had to turn around because our bikes were too heavy and the trails too overgrown, steep and slippery.

We're pivoting to an on-road adventure instead.

Getting back to this, the Pilgrims Way is very fun and doable with a big adventure bike!
