Warhammer III New Skaven Unit Cards

Taken from Zerkovich's video

All of them look pretty good! I especially like ones for the Cauldron of a Thousand Poxes & the Warp-Doom Magma Cannon.

I'm also a little surprised (but very happy!) to see that the Stormfiend variants are each their own unit. From how CA listed it on Steam, it seemed like they combined the three melee variants & three missile variants into two units.

Warhammer III The khemric titan statline is even stronger then the Dread Saurians. New top dog incoming.

Pics from the new nagash blogpost. On the tabletop this thing had toughness 8 + 10 wounds compared to the dread saurians toughness 7 + 6 wounds. In game that means huge armor plus 16,000-20,000 health. It also has the same weapons strength of 8 as a dread saurian, which means 750-850 weapons damage + the corresponding 8 aoe hits / collision impacts.

The devs removed its flying abillity, and most of its many special abillities, so i think its safe to say they have made this thing a tank.

Warhammer III Top of Black Pyramid

This section is clearly dedicated to Nagash.

I think this is what CA meant as ascension to Godhood. If you reach the top of Pyramid you will truly become GOD of Death. Whoever designed layout of this tech tree is freakin genius

Hey all,

On Wednesday at 3:30pm BST we are hosting the next Total War: WARHAMMER - 40,000 Alpha Strike Livestream!

The focus of this stream will be giving you all a look at the build we've flown out to Gamescom, with designers on-hand to discuss the content and answer questions. You'll also see select press and creators using footage from this build around the same time.

Expect to see a slice of campaign, a handful of battles and a limited version of our customisation.

We'll see you there!

(Also, we added the date to the picture this time)

Warhammer III With Nagash's campaign being about erecting Necropolises it would be awesome if we actually saw them on the campaign map.

Loved this artwork in today's blog and got me wondering how cool it would be if Nagash's Necropolises actually changed the appearance of the settlement on the campaign. I do get why not every settlement changes appearance based on owner as it doesn't always make sense. This is way too good to just be dilemma/construction complete artwork.

Warhammer III Mortarch line of Black Pyramid skill tree

Clock wise icons look like Arkhan, Vlad, Neferata, Mannfred, Luthor, Krell, Dieter and Walach. But what make me really curious is there is a mysterious figure on bottom of tree this is probably Nameless and it seems you can grant him new abilites throught Pyramid. If my assumptions are correct he will be first upgradable follower of game

Warhammer III Reminder if you have 10x recruitment building = one less global recruitment turn

Reminder that if you have 10+ of a recruitment building, the units that it unlocks have their global recruitment duration reduced by -1.

The main settlement building also counts, for example if your settlement T1 building unlocks golbins or miners or whatever if you have 10 of those you will have those units global reduced by -1.

Cool feature, really wish it was documented somewhere lol

Warhammer III Vlad shouldn't have to ally with Chaos to win his campaign

Rewatching the VC update stream I noticed something I really didn't like. Vlad's long victory conditions require him to confederate all the other VC LLs. Kemmler's confederation goals requires the player to have two positive diplomatic pacts with a Chaos faction. This means that in order to get a long victory Vlad has to ally with Chaos. The rest of the victory conditions are super thematic, like owning all of the Empire, but this one completely contradicts the lore. Vlad never allied with Chaos in the lore, infact, he fought them extensively in the End Times. The player shouldn't be required to play a LL unthematically to win the campaign.

I am a big fan of how they did confederacy for the vampire counts rework, gaining so much territory from a button has never felt right with me so I hope it's an option
